I have been asked to show how I use cross stitch saga. I’ve thought about it and understood that just showing would not be so informative.

Thank you for explaining the program for us. I am English speaking and I can understand clearly what you are presenting. Most of us in the USA use Pattern keeper, but I like Cross Stitch Saga just as much and there are not a lot of videos about how to use. Happy Stitching 😊
I am glad that I was able to explain all the features in an understandable way 🤗 if you still any questions left I am happy to answer if I can. I know, most of the stitchers use pattern keeper, but it does not have all the functionality I would like to use. That’s why I chose Saga. But if I would need to stitch from PDF file I would check paradise at first. I have heard that application is not so bad as well. And they have trial version

Hi! I glad you like it! Just keep in mind you need the right format of the file in order this app to work with your chart. If you have only pdf files and have android device, check this app cs-paradise.com, it has similar functionality but different interface.

Oh yes, it is inconvenient to find workaround for patterns that you paid for.
That’s why i always make sure I buy only SAGA compatible formats and in our shop there is always an option to get them for no extra charge. It is so essential to use good applications to stitch faster with all our XXL size projects 😄🥰

Thank you for this video. I recently bought the app after seeing one of your other videos and realizing it works with my charting program so anything with backstitching goes into Saga now. I definitely learned some useful things from you that I hadn't figured out by myself. It looks like you need to get the pro version of CS Paradise to convert PDF charts, but I'm considering it to be able to stitch charts sideways easier. I've tried stitching sideways in Pattern Keeper and it's a pain since I need to have the entire app sideways, so I was about to make a much bigger scroll frame for a new project but now I might not have to.
Yeah, I always wondering if it worth to have a bigger frame or just to rotate the pattern. With the big frame there always a possibility that tension in the middle will be very poor. I don’t like when canvas jumps when you stitch.
I know lots of people stitch with CS Paradize pro version. I just don’t have android tablet, so did not try it. But it might be an option as well. Sometime I think that investment of 10$ to a good tools or materials is not such a big problem if I stitch one project at least one year. It might save lots of energy, time and give more satisfaction of the stitching itself

@@StitchingMasterpieces I usually use a Qsnap to stitch and only go for scroll frames when I don't want to scrounge up the fabric so a smaller scroll frame will always be a win for me. I just hated stitching sideways in Pattern Keeper when I tried it and this time I bought Congress cloth which of course needs a scroll frame, so I was prepared to bite the bullet and just make a bigger one. The money I save from that would be enough to cover the cost for the app, so it's pretty much a non issue when I think about it.
I think you did great and I don't have any questions left about Saga, I will ask if anything comes up later. Pattern Keeper is still my favorite and what I'm used to, but Saga is a very close second and I think it'll grow even more on me as I get more used to it. I'm still messing up here and there when using it since my brain still defaults to how PK works after using it since it came out years ago.
@Ofelia-12 I feel absolutely the same way if I need to learn a new app. Always thinking that it is too complicated and I don’t want it. But after sometime usually I find that it was worth it. At least with saga it is very intuitive and easy to use.
Nice that you were able to save some money on a new frame. Good ones cost a lot!
This looks so good but as much as I want it I have no clue how to change my patterns to the correct formats and looking up it cost 46 quid for one way to change it I’m a complete Apple user it’s kind off sad they don’t allow pdf as it’s the main thing Apple has
Hi! Actually I was considering to offer such service in our Etsy shop - convert pdf to saga format.
It might cost me about 20CAD per pattern. But not sure if anyone would like to pay for it though so I put it on pause.

What is saga never head of it before
Hi! This is an app for stitching any projects. It has lots of features that allow stitch faster and more convenient but there are two “however”:
1. There is no free version of this app
2. It does not work with PDF file which is awful if you stitch only HAED. There are some options how to convert PDF file and make it work with SAGA. But you decide if it worth it.

А зачем тебе с сагой дружить, если ты уже привыкла к парадайз? Или в нем чего-то не хватает?
