@@thor1186 hey, weird question here. I don't always get a chance to speak with a New Yorker. What's the housing prices on average? or even, rental prices? I usually like your videos but this one is a disorganized mess. Just jumping all around, never really delivering any info. At least not in the 5 minutes I could get through.
Exactly, that’s what I thought, but when you look at the trucks going through the Dakar rally I don’t see them tipping over, and this bus is based on those truck chassis. Maybe they have some high tech engineering to prevent it from tipping over.
excited to hear that this company will be coming to the US. I have been following this company, and cannot wait for you guys to get ahold of one and put it to the test.
In the 80s, the Yugoslav People's Army (JNA) had TAM 110A5 4x4 buses, nicknamed the litlle elephant (slonče) in its fleet. The bus was unique and had exceptional off-road driving capabilities.

every metric person I know when they are given measurements in inches thinks for half a second and is "OK Got it" Most imperial people (American) when given measurements in millimeters freak out and think they're being spoken to in an alien language!
There is a fabricator near Houston building custom "Critter Getters" really different from this, but amazing large vehicles for ranches and safari use.
Earthroamer is my favorite except for one major problem with them. They are NOT true 4 wheel drive. They do not have locking differentials. Earthroamer says that the drive train would NOT be able to have that much power going to all four wheels otherwise you would be breaking U-joints and drive shafts because of all the excessive weight the vehicle is carrying. Water and fuel is two of them. If I want a 4X4 vehicle I want to be able to lock the diffs if I get into a situation. Sure I could use the winch but I don't want to use a winch because I got stuck in a mud puddle.
People at the campground would think this is a hilarious rig. I hope the mirrors are big enough. Will be epic to navigate a tight campground lol. Only belongs in some desert or apocalypse setting
This rv is very cool but do you need a CDL to drive one ? I love the Earthroamer XV because you don't need CDL to drive one and it's more similar to a regular truck.
It should have a separate shower on the rv model; In Europe, vehicles above 3500 KG (7716 lbs) can't go faster than 55mph, often they are limited to that speed
This must be a very new company still working on getting out a production model, because apparently no one in the entire world owns an Overland, (at least not yet). I know this because I have been unable to find a single video tour of the inside of this vehicle, and there are there are only a couple of what appear to be computer generated wide angle images, and we all know that the first thing that owners of a new RV usually do is start their own UA-cam channels, and film guided tours of their rigs. So if someone actually owned one of these beasts, we'd already have footage of every nook and cranny, (Remember how you you used to dread going over to someone's house for their kid's first birthday party because the parents would inevitably rope you into watching a 20 minute Super 8 reel of the drooling little crumb crusher crawling around the house?). What amazes me is that in the extended factory video I've seen, which runs about ten minutes, they still don't show the interior in any better detail than the few vague images in the brochure. There's just something strange about their unwillingness to show what it looks like on the inside. That said, I'd be very interested in purchasing the Praetorian Offensive, if for no other reason than that it's name will be a great introduction for it's driver.
Looks like its based on the older (1980's) MAN military chassis. That would match that engine too. Not the fastest things in the world but they run forever regardless of abuse and could still pull a house down even when fully loaded and draggin a massive trailer. They only make about 900lbs of torque but thats multiplied a lot by the box and axles. Normal cruise speed is 44-56mph but derestricted ones can hit around 80.
Why do you want to put a big inefficient American engine in ? Then you’ll need a bigger fuel tank , heavier frame to carry the tank, engine and massive allinson transmission you’ll need .
I don't see any reason why they couldn't work with Cummins in Europe given that there are a large number of companies here that use variations of there 6 cylinders which are also manufactured here. Although if I were to build an overland rig I'd like to build it on a Ural-4320 platform.
6.9l strt 6 cyl by man is probably more durable than anything in a dodge. Who cares about hi hp, when you get durability. Thats what counts. Man has a reputation for building quality. We Americans are married to high hp figures and raging torque we will never use in the long term.
It does look cool, but also it very much looks like it's ready to tip, design like this should be wider, at least the axles, it's not like they need to be ready to compete on skinny trails with Rubicons
I would mortgage my house for one of these!
I would sell my house for this, I'm in NYC
you could sell your house and then live out of this and the tailor

As a matter of fact, Navistar will be a part of Traton.

Now THATS a proper off-roader! Love the Motorsport configuration. Think you could squeeze a compact side-by-side in there?
Got to love the Czechs. Always innovative. I own a few of their excellent firearms.

I gotta say, I thought it was going to be half a million. Wasn't expecting that price.

This is the kind of vehicle I'd love to take on a touring trip
Just rugged and cool
And I see a lot of *MAN* trucks in my area

I agree with the sound. I almost bought a Humvee but man it was loud inside!

I want this rectangle!
6 cylinder European C licence trucks from the last ten years are magic carpet smooth. Usually 17 tonne for road vehicles.

The Earthroamer HD (made in Colorado) is about the same size.
Come build in Texas Torsus! Also get one of those awesome trucks to TFL for testing, I want to see more!!

You can tow the Bronco behind the Praetorian. Heck, you could ask Torsus to build yours and match your Bronco's paint job
If they can keep the price low when sold in the US as mentioned, that makes this company is a winner all around.
