The V is one of the best driving roads in Ireland. As a rep I drove it many times, the last time in retirement I drove my BMW 318 Touring pulling an 18 ft. caravan, probably one of the most challenging drives I have ever attempted!
I live in Dublin and love a drive in the Wicklow mountains,on a Sunday morning I can be up there in less than an hour and a coffee stop in Enniskerry to finish #fantasticdriving
Fully agree, as an Australian and 911 owner,we spent 10 days in Ireland and it like Scotland reminds me so much of Tasmania , my favourite The Copper Coast road/tour .
Excellent video and I hope you enjoyed your time and were well looked after when you were over here. I can see the Dublin mountains from my front door and the Wicklow mountains from my office window. Sometimes I commute home across them but a 5 series is a bit wide for some of those roads!
Another excellent video Lee. I never knew Ireland had such fantastic roads!!! Little Irish looked well at home on those narrow lanes. I'm now Selling it to the missus over breakfast.
I love your content, keep it coming. Taking little Irish to the emerald isle looked like an epic trip. If I was on your side of the Atlantic I would join you for the tour later this year!
Ok Lee you've inspired me 😉 I've just signed up to 9werks on Patreon so I can join your trip next time. It was great to meet you up in Wigan last month. Cheers 😎 PS: my new 🎱 gear knob is great
Excellent video! Really made the little prisoned traveller inside me want to get there. I like when the roads are not too fast so that you can use the 2nd gear, that is, technical corners. How did you find the road quality vs. KW?
That’s excellent Lee. I did a similar trip last year in my 992 and also stayed at the Faithlegg Hotel. Enjoyed your video. Here is a link to my Ireland trip video: ua-cam.com/video/zQ2H_Lj6JFI/v-deo.htmlsi=Y0TZxJX6Uk_I1RAp
The scenery on the northern Irish north coast is amazing as well.
I feel that’s in future Lee’s destiny!
This comment literally screams i didnt watch the hole video
These kind of places are where the 996/7 are as wide as you want your 911 to be I think!
You lucky dog!! Thx for sharing👍🙏
Thanks for sharing , the scenery is epic and I'd love to drive those roads too.

Oof, you’re winning at life. Outstanding roads on your doorstep.👌🏻
We cant wait to get over there with old friends & great cars !! great video Lee !
Cheers guys, looking forward to going back with you both, and other DNHC members, in June!
Great video Lee, looking forward to part 2.
Really enjoy watching your channel, the ideas of Porsche life style is driving it not keeping it in garage forever.
Looks fab Lee, and a great review 😊

I have a trip planned some years now and hope to realise my dream in September!
Absolutely stunning scenery Lee, such a great video, thank you for sharing. Excited to see Part 2. My very best wishes, Saquib
Great video!
Great work, Lee. I know NI quite well and the roads there are amazing and not too busy.
...great trip and great video mate 👍🏻👌🏻💪🏻

That's most kind, thank you. We may have some p-cars for hire going forwards, watch this space!
You need to get out to the west cost ring of Kerry and out to Galway the road between Delphi and leenaun is just stunning driving along a fjord
So good.

Fantastic all round, Chris! Looking forward to welcoming you on a roadtrip soon!
Great video Lee. Roads look great , good to hear from James that pothole epidemic isn’t as bad as UK.! How was the ferry ? Any issues with low cars ?
Ferry was fun bud, access was fine and was a smooth sailing both ways, though it can be a little choppy.
Excellent video!
Really made the little prisoned traveller inside me want to get there.

Love the car phone ! Please tell me it works ?😊
Surprised you've not mentioned punctures, when I went to Southern Ireland it seemed everyone got one. Maybe the roads have been cleaned up.
If I’d have got a puncture I’d have likely mentioned it, but 1800 miles of driving brought home nice, inflated tyres on my 996. No issues there!
Great vid! Quick question, are you running original Fuchs or aftermarket, and if so, where did you get them? Thanks!
Thanks! They are genuine Fuchs, purchased new from Paragon Porsche.
Do you have a video on your head unit / stereo system?
I do and it’s pretty comprehensive, just search ‘9WERKS TV PCCM+’
Hows the new clutch
Well, full disclosure, I did this trip in the days before my engine came out, so this was done on the old clutch - it was dandy!
I am very keen to no about the up grade you should come up to Scotland Lee
