thank you for describing Luna honestly , covering so many spectacular of her character….she is a wonderful example of the importance of truly knowing yourself and then blooming where ever you are planted…
Of all the characters in the Harry Potter series, I love Luna the best. I loved her talk with Harry after Sirius's death. It was the first time Harry could feel something after Sirius's death other than grief or anger - he found he had pity for Luna in regards to how others treated her. She however, did not feel pity towards herself. He found he could talk with Luna about Sirius because she too could see Thestrals. Lastly, although he had a hard time believing that he would see Sirius after death, the fact that she pointed out the voices behind the veil gave him hope, and the weight in his stomach had eased slightly. In that one conversation she gave Harry the ability to see through his grief.
She's one of my favorite, always wishing I could have been more like her...like you said she just lets stuff roll off an worries not ❣️ I'm always the different person , an thats ok. But the mocking an people not really being truly friends...gets really upsetting.
Luna was counterpoint to Hermione. Hermione only had faith in that which could be proven. Luna was all about faith and belief, and in a world of magic, her POV was actually the more reasonable one. Luna never doubted Harry, she had faith in him.
Idk that the glasses actually gave legitimacy to wrackspurts... they're the wizard version of mood rings... a psudoscience, or a toy. I had one as a teen. It was winter. I forgot my coat. That colour on my ring was not shifting from a weird yellow colour till i warmed up... Wrackspurts are a way to explain away what muggles would call a scatterbrain/ brain fuzz type moment and maybe even indicate a need to get tested for a neurodivergence such as adhd. Tracher aide, who works with students who have additional needs, not a psychologist here, so take it with a grain of salt...
I also think she was lonely. "Almost like having friends" she says about Dumbledore's army meetings. I was hoping Harry and Luna would get together. But it worked out for Jenny, tho, I suppose.
❤ Luna Lovegood happens to be one of my favorites. Her heart and her tenacity to feel and see everything and everyone is just so precious. If I were a student of Hogwarts I would want her as a friend. ❤❤
I was surprised to see so many pumpkins in the artwork. I imagine JK Rowling included pumpkin juice in the Hogwarts menu because of how exotic it sounded, much like how Ian Fleming made James Bond eat "half an avocado pear" for breakfast in 1950's England. But a vegetable that likes to keep above 18 degrees Celsius would struggle out of doors in the far North of Scotland.
Sorry but... I think you've forgotten that the book did *NOT* actually feature Luna finding Harry under the invisibility cloak, but-Tonks, rather; I mean, she was actually *LOOKING FOR* Harry, since he went missing sometime between boarding the Hogwarts Express, and disembarking from it, and he IS the *Chosen One* after all! ;)
No.5: I agree with what you say here. You could have taken it just a little bit further. When the ‘Magic Trio’z have been taken to Malfoy Manor in Bk. 7 and the boys have been locked in the downstairs dungeon, it’s Luna’s reactions to them suddenly appearing that actually grounds them. Ron is half panicked ‘cos Hermione is upstairs being tortured and Harry is not far behind him. Luna keeps them focused.
So, it’s time to make a Draco video Here’s the thing most people say Draco is just like Dudley or James, but that’s not true at all! They have nothing in common at all. Nothing, whatsoever. And Draco is very similar to Ron, I believe. These two of course would rather die than admit it, but they’re two sides of the same coin. And Luna in that retrospect is the opposite of Draco. While his Persona doesn’t let a bit of his true self come forward until it’s completely destroyed, Luna has NO Persona whatsoever. Her difference with Hermione is rather superficial
Thank you for this Luna deserves a real appreciation she is let down badly in the films
Sounds to me like Luna practices gratitude.
Practicing gratitude will bring you much peace
Luna is my favorite character.
The moment Luna showed up in the books, I fell in love with her...like Tonks and Dobby.
Luna and dad were great people in the movies. Thanks for her story.

I always said the movies needed :
more elves
more quidditch
and more Luna 💖💖💖

To Bloodborne's standards, Luna isn't looney, she only has a too high insight, allowing her see, sense and detect things that nobody can.
The others eyes have yet to open…..
Micolash: "Grant us Eyes. Grant us Eyes!"
The artwork in this video is beautiful.
I thought her & Harry more of a couple then Ginny she was infatuated with his fame Luna wasn’t
I was hoping Harry and Luna would get together as a couple as well. I loved it when Harry asked Luna to Slughorn's party.

I like your premise. Well thought out.
Luna is one of my favorite character
Luna is empathic, and she has found a way to keep the empathy from overwhelming her.

I wish Harry should have married Luna.
Luna is the brightest at Hogwarts just like Lunar is the brightest light in the sky.

Luna is so freaking adorable. Luna and Bellatrix were my 2 favorite characters in the movies
Really good match between Ivanna Lynch👧🏼 and the character of Luna Love good...🌚
Thank you - great comments

My question is at 1:53 y is the shop called prisoner of askaban lol just thought it was funny 😂
I thought the actress who portrayed Luna was perfect!
👍
Harry should have married Luna, obviously. Let Neville have Ginny.
