The irony is, foreigners showing how to live as Vegan in India, while indians still think vegetarianism is the ultimate. I'm Vegan though.
My friend went to India on the Taj Mahal Tour. It was had for them in eat vegan. They had to eat fruits. The places the tour agency refused to cater without dairy
Yea.. Cows need to be impregnated over and over to get milk... I hope people realize that vegan is the only way... And dairy alternatives are easy to find or make at home..
I don't think so..
@@Goodthoughtlol 👍🏻❤🙂
Being vegan is kindda tough.. so if you can be a vegan than you should be but if you vege its atleast better from non-vegetarian... i want to be vegan but i don't extra burden on my mom to cook me pure vegan dishes... whenever i get chance to eat either vegan food or vege .. i prefer vegan
I have recently turned vegan and to be honest it is easy to follow a vegan diet in India since you can find numerous delicious vegitarian recepies in India..you simply need to remove dairy from the daily indian diet.
Yes I know totally :) Well done :) Im soo happy for the animals :)
veganism is idiotic
instead to promoting to protect cows and treating them as mother they are saying leave them alone which will promote some other consequences
@@user-mb1ww4dk7r are you kidding me? Veganism started in India and is still a part of our culture. The cow's milk is for her baby, not for you. In Ancient India, cows were very well fed and whatever milk they gave went first to their babies and whatever was left was used by humans. By drinking the cow's milk, you're not leaving any for her babies and keeping someone hungry is against hinduism (assuming you're a hindu-even if you're not, you should never keep anyone hungry intentionally). What if when your mother breastfed you, someone took her milk? You would be really weak and suffer with immune system problems your entire life. Also, cows don't need to give you milk in order for you to care for them. You can still feed them:)
@@nini-qc1qd here I think you got me wrong
Or I got the concept of veganism wrong let me tell you first what I think what veganism is "not touching qny milk products because they are animals and this is cruel "
And what I am saying is cow is like mother to me
I am not saying we should not give milk to the calf No that is wrong that is even in human which in other countries this is what happens
But we should have at least a cow at home to take care of her and that is how it was in the ancient culture
That is what i am saying
But leaving cow milk products just because it is cruel to take milk that is stupidity
If you are so much concerned about this topic then you must promote people to have a cow pet at there home instead of buying dog and cats
Anyways promoting veganism is not at all the solution this is what I think and thats true
Because Good and inocent people like us may become vegan, then all the cows will be on the street
Then let me tell you what is going to happen , All the meat loverss will not stope the cows will go straight to the slaughter houses you fucking idiot
Do you want this to happen this is wisdom
I am a braj wasi from mathura
And I have two cows at home we know twhat it is and how it is they are like mother to us Ho the hell doyou think we can take away the milk to drink from her childerns
And the cow milk is not for sell that is what we must do
Milk is only for the calfs and us the family only 🙏
@@user-mb1ww4dk7r you use abusive language towards people and that's enough for me to know that you don't actually respect Mathura, a very sacred place. I go to Mathura every weekend and we feed cows because we love animals. People in cities cannot have cows as pets because cows take more space than cats and dogs. You have got the concept of veganism wrong.
Easy for vegans to have a sustainable diet in India. Hope my beloved country "INDIA 🇮🇳" follows the path of AHIMSA, and stop the animal cruelty. Save animals, promote veganism, stand united. Change the world 🌍 in a better place to live in.
I'm an Indian living here, and a proud Vegan ❤️.
I'm a vegan and indian
Hi
Best to be in India - best and most vegetarian country.... Aspiring Vegan Indian - Just cheese vegan alternative needed.
Try nutritional yeast to swap cheese in dishes. Cashew paste to swap cheese on pizzas. Hopefully, there will be more dairy free cheese options in India soon. You can find some options online on the UA-cam channel Goodful. :) Hope this helps.
@@ShivaniSatija ohhh... let me try something
You don't have to swap Dairy products. Drinking Milk is a part of our culture & doesn't hurt the Cow. Also, Vegans abroad don't drink milk primarily for the Dairy industry over there, Cows are slaughtered after milking them, its not the same in India, Cows are treated with care by the Farmers, are like a part of their family & are NOT slaughtered. Please support the Indian Dairy Industry 👍
@@justinrozario2003 - I feel you man - the truth will hurt or shock u like it did me.
5000 cows PER DAY slaughtered (illegally) and exported - also happened with gold (gold scam) - idk 🤷♀️ how many such things happen. TRUTH. Is thankfully (for now) a google search away. Check it out
@@justinrozario2003 yes very true
We should support the farmers who care for the cows and provide us with nutritious milk.
In india cows are well treated and not in factories like foreign.
Large thumb rule to have vegan food out in India - Just avoid Indian sweets (which are mainly milk based), and Paneer based menu. "Ghee" is rarely used in restaurants (and mostly in north India) and if it is used they will mention it like "Ghee Paratha" etc -specially in north idnian small road side eateries. Ghee has been abandoned for being more expensive.
true almost no average restaurant will offer u free ghee its anti-business strategy. easy vegan tip avoid big for rich restaurants and avoid sweets and paneer menu and obviously menu that has word "ghee" in it.
Thanks to Hinduism, for making some percentage of population as Vegetarian
Still not vegan
they both are vegan, not vegetarian
In times Ancient cows were treated well in India but now its all business
No bro if you mean Mugals bring the concept of beaf eating then you are wrong cos it's given, also in history it's there. But your point is true sadly, cows are now a term of Business, as India is the biggest exporter of beaf illegally by the following current party BJP and the beaf banning concept by them was a part of their business strategy so that the price drops down and they can export it cheap. As it seems like always its opposite is their, BJPs MLAs, Ministers, members and all consume beaf meat more, rather than the other remaining meats.✊🇮🇳✊
Yes Mughal Muslims and britishers bring the idea of meat eating
@@astronautnestar did you get dropped on your head during birth. Just asking.
indian culture never used cow for business or self use even...
they used it in emergency or some special condition and even a little...
@@astronautnestar where did you got this nasty information or you among those supporters of peta hypocrites.
Tell me 1 thing that how much your vegan pseudo milk costs as compared to the cow or buffalo milk and how could poor be able to consume your so called milk?
I'm vegan from kolkata 🇮🇳❤️
In goa ,india all vegetarian dish are mostly vegan .bcz we use lot of coconut as a main base in any dish . we don't use ghee much .
Yea same goes for South but being a Konkan my self goan food is highly based on sea food and also meat. I would eat seafood every other day when I lived in Vasco
Naan is usually made with yogurt (dairy). Be careful when ordering this. Some grocery chains (like those in the UK) carry Vegan Naan.

Indian dairy is very different from western dairy....please read about family cow
Taking onion and claiming vegan?
What’s wrong with it? Onion is a plant.
@@vyacheslavzgordan6725 Well I found out that vegan people don't take dairy products but vegetarian people take it but not onion and garlic.
So at first, I thought they were putting a vegetarian thumbnail.
So I got confused 😖.
@@VexyBall only those who follow Vedic principles avoid onions as it is is considered as non-sattvic there. Other vegetarians eat onions as onion is a vegetable.
@@vyacheslavzgordan6725 but as a vegetarian i don't take onion and garlic and majority obey this policy strictly.
@@VexyBall onions are not restricted for vegetarians. You probably don’t eat them because of some religious practices, but it has nothing to do with vegetarians or vegans. Veganism is about avoiding products of animal origin. Onion is not of animal origin. You can eat them if you are vegan. But some religious or spiritual practices such as vaisnava religions restrict them by some other reasons which have nothing to do with veganism, probably you follow one of them, but not all vegetarians or vegans do the same, not all of them are vaisnavas, so they can eat onions 🙂
Most of Indian pure vegetarian and milk, butter is also veg product because we use milk after use of cow son
She is talking abt vegan not vegetarian
Pure vegetarian means vegan
I would wanna say one thing..
Please don't eat that much of junk foods... i don't want you to destroy your health.. please..
By the way.. take care of yourself.. your husband looks healthy but you look skinny...
I'm a vegan myself but i ain't skinny at all..
I think you can get coconut oil there ... a lot of it.. so please consume some fat and protein. .. that wouldn't do you any harm..❤💙💚💛💜💕💟
Indians are not vegan.. we are vegetarians.. we consider cow as our mother and they bless us with their milk after feeding their own calves. unlike people in the west, most of us do not have problems like lactose intolerance either. u can also find camel,s milk, goat and buffalo milk too.. as long as we are not killing anyone, we are okay with it. this has been running for centuries
India has one of the most highest lactose intolerance rate,, we overlook it,, Observe how common bloating, diarrhea, indegistion is in India
I used to suffer from watery stool and bloating but never thought lactose intolerance might be the reason,, I have discontinued drinking milk and i am feeling my better but I do consume lots of butter, ghee and sometimes I take calcium supliments too
@@akshat6007 thats true.. what i actually meant is we dont restrict ourselves for this.. or pay attention to.. so no one complains .. and if u say that y 65% fof the world population is lactose intolerant. the good part is in india u have food that help in digestion.. we have the remedy if we really know how and when
unfortunately diary industry is much worse than meat industry and all diary cows go to slaughter also so yes cows are being murdered even when used for milk.
Well mam fortunately in India the story is completely different here all rural families have 3-4 cows and they acquire various things like dung and milk from them and then daily sell rest of the milk to stations of big corporations who do rest of the marketing,, cows in India are treated very well
What's wrong with dairy.. ?
Hi. Appreciate that you don’t take dairy products. But in case you aren’t allergic or there aren’t any medical reasons for not taking dairy then I highly recommend you try out Paneer dishes (there are many types), lassi and various types of raita (curd/ yogurt). Also many delicious sweets are made of dairy products which i recommend you try if you can.
I am Vegan which means I do not eat diary products. They are very unhealthy for humans body and cause heart disease which is the biggest killer on earth. So no thank you
@@YooMsBro milk unhealthy for humans?? Its your choice to not have milk, but don't spread false information...
Abhishek Chede hi my friend. I didnt want to offend you but unfortunately this is not a false information. Its a fact. I suggest you looking it up if you dont believe me. It causes heart disease which is the biggest killer on earth till this day. Full if cholesterol and saturated fats and chemicals. Diary is made for baby cows not humans. Please do more research about this if you are interested.
@@YooMsBro and Mam guess what,,, India is the number one dairy product consumer, everything here has milk, and what's the number one reason for death in India - cardiovascular diseases
@@YooMsBro we always consume A2 milk, so don't worry
I don't know why people are considering not to take dairy product ,guys if you consider drinking milk is also bad then won't allow your kids to drink their mother milk.
It's not that cow's milk is not healthy.....it's about the violence and pain cows have to go through in the dairy industry. They are treated very badly. See conspiracy. I personally think if I had my own cows I would take good care of them and would take milk after feeding th calf
@@shraddha5474 yes absolutely iam against industry milk ,packet milk is slow poison but here he is saying that even you pet cow and takin her milk is also bad, but if won't take her milk then she will have stone in here breast and whole milk calf drinks then he/she will have also stomach problem ,so there's necessary to take milk from cow.
@@prashantshukla9383 nope... It's because we bred them to be like that ... artificial insemination... Wild cows never had that problem.
Like you do not eat milk. Similarly vegans do not consume dairy. What is your problem? Do not force your food choices to others. You don't need to know
