Rumor has it this is a Muhle head (sharpologist interviewed a Gillette rep who confirmed the head was made in Germany). They market it exclusively on Amazon. There is no way they are going to refocus back to safety razors, the margins are just too high on cartridges. I honestly don't think the wet shaving community needs them, we have so many fantastic choices without their half hearted gestures. Great to have YOU back in the game though, keep the content coming!

I bought a Merkur 34c and while it performed well with a Derby blade, I found the ultimate razor while travelling last year! The Yuma performs above and beyond even the best designed razors, in my opinion. I bought this ultra-light razor almost as a joke, as the price was next to nothing and I didn't have any expectations. However, when the blade is lined up evenly and you apply gentle pressure during the shave, it's a game-changer! The closest shave I have experienced with one pass, due to the razor's more agressive nature; but this doesn't cause any irritation even on more sensitive skin. It would be brilliant to see how you get on with this Yuma razor if you can get your hands on one! Great to see you back! Cheers!

I have 2 rich man custom brushes and i love them. One of them has his blood knot in it and it is hands down my favorite knot of any brush i have. Rich makes some killer brushes.

Gotta love Rich Man Shaving brushes. Myself and my wife have a pair and they are wonderful. Given I'm in Canada I had to go with a synthetic knot, that said I tend to prefer them for ease of use. Beautiful brushes and have quite a bit of backbone with how the knot is set. Generate lather like no tomorrow

Welcome back. I've now used up 5 different blades with my Gillette Heritage . I have gotten great shaves with each one. It's a great shaver.

I'm new to the channel, but welcome back and congratulations. I just got my RazoRock DE1 razor in the mail. I definitely recommend it for a mild but efficient shave. You should give it a shot... only $8 @ Italian Barber.

Everyone needs to relax a bit. All Gillette is doing is testing the market. When companies doo that, they do it at a minimal cost. It obviously did very well, so perhaps if they continue, maybe they will step it up. They did it right, imo, by adding the classic case. And yes, great having you back!
Do you ever use a scented aftershave? I love that Nivea stuff as well. But I enjoy putting on something that has some stronger scent to it. Thanks again for another great video, it is really great to have you back.

I recall you liked the Muhle R41. Recently I was gifted the GSC R41+ Tribute razor. It's aggressive but also very smooth with a light touch. Check it out.

Ty out some soaps from Southern Witchcrafts. Some of my favorite soaps from them are Autumn Ash, Sandalwood, and their newly released Carpathia which has a very spicy, woody, & manly scent.

Nice shave. I would like to see your review of the new bases of so many artisans, suh as Talbot, Murphy & M Neil, Declaration Grooming, Wholly Kaw, A&E. Or artisans from other parts of the world, such as Australian Private Reserve. As for hardware, there are quite a few new prodcts out there (new brush artisans, new stainless steel razors). Have a nice end of the year and a very happy 2020.

Could you do some videos of maybe a good pre-shave for guys like me that have extremely dry skin in the winter? No matter what I do to keep my face hydrated it seems like my shave soap dries very quickly. Thanks. And as always love the videos.

If you're into soaps that have a nice balance of floral and masculine scents, I highly recommend Dr. Jon's 1803 scent, which has notes of floral, fruit, and wood.
Great review, I like Gillette's effort taken regarding the DE razor. May I suggest Wickham 1912 (club cola or any other scent:) when you get the chance. Happy Holidays Nick!
