Good job on this video. That's quite a few screws to remove just to grease your diffs. Thanks for sharing your findings and awesome tips. I always learn something new with your videos.

Thanks for showing the inside of the differentials and the process! Appreciate it! New nose bumpers are out on Ebay for these by the way! Cheers!

I took my axles apart to try and stiffen the diffs with some jb weld and right when you started, thought to myself he's gonna be surprised with how many screws you need to take out to access them lol. I actually ordered the treal axles just so I could play around with the diffs with far less screws, not necessarily for their strength as the stock axles should hold up just fine with the 1300 screws holding them together. Wanting a much stiffer diff for sidewheel doughnuts and front wheel power saves like the bigger lmt. Hoping a sealed diff or at least a slipper type diff becomes available soon.

Losi usually pretty good compared to others far as QC , since cxxvid it’s been slacking . I was disappointed they’re not tunable diffs , they would’ve had to charge 50$ more and they’re bread and butter is people who wouldn’t know the differences so this is how they keep cost down .

Man, when is an aftermarket company gonna come out with sealed diffs for these? I absolutely love mine and have had no issues, I just wish I could stiffen up the differential action a bit.

Would be nice for dirt tracks but for carpet I think open diff is better.

Does putting the grease on the diff “lock” them? I’m just afraid that the open diffs won’t allow for bicycles and sideroll saves..

Regular grease won’t lock it. You would have to use silicone earplugs to lock it up more.

Seems like a bunch of work and screws to get this apart. Dog bones in a solid axle seems better than the D shaped shafts some monster and crawlers use. Almost 300 dollars for 1/18 scale not a chance. Going to pass on this until a used one pops up near me on FBMP.

Pretty sure I mentioned how mine was totally fine. Overall build quality was good. I go over all my rtrs to be sure they were built right, especially if I see other guys having issues.
My buddy had his fall apart in the box before he opened it so definitely some QC issues as with every RC.
This isn’t precision equipment here, they’re toys and they all have issues. If I can help by sharing fixes, I will. You can skip this type of video if all you want is running video where guys are getting free promotional RCs to rave about and hide the truth.

You sure are grumpy and like to complain like a Karen... If you don't like it find another channel and stop bothering this man trying to help folks..
Have a good day. If you are capable that is.
