twitch moments I’m a trump supporter (how could I not be at this point, even though he’s not perfect) and I love Roberts videos and he is a great American success story too
@@tonygareth221 thank you!! No need for me now to reply to twitch moments. I couldn't had say it better. Like you said, Robert is a great American success history. So many, including born americans, should follow his steps.
Robert, what an awesome video! You did good...great! I watch a lot of youtube, but you are my favorite. You're are the BEST! Thanks to you, this old lady is able to experience America's beauty.
My mouth was wide open as you approached the Yosemite Point overlook. For real, I've now added that to my bucket list! People think I'm weird watching RV vlogs but your videos are the best! I'm especially jealous of your food/coffee stops. Safe travels! Much love from London, UK
I've watched many of your videos Robert & have never been to Yosemite. Other than being there in person, I couldn't imagine visiting it any other way........than with you Brother. What a superb job you do in making a particular place come alive. No one could do it any better !!
I felt very fortunate to be on this hike with you, by your videos; the falls and all the great views...very picturesque...you did look tired, then refreshed after your IPA!...thanks so much!
I was born in 1947 and refer to our national parks and historic site every year with my wife on your UA-cam It is a very fun and easy to understand roadmovie Thank you😎 from Japan
Me and my wife and three kids where there a week before you where there !! It was our first time too .. we did 12 mile up yosinete falls and back . It indescribable. Videos and pictures can only give you glimpse. One must truly visit in person to feel the magical feeling of Mother Nature ! Thank you for your videos! I’ve seen your channel grow so much ! Your living the dream ! Congratulations on all your success
We did this hike back in June 2016 and know how difficult it is with all the switchbacks. The top of the falls is worth the pain and we swam up there for an hour. It was definitely our most difficult hike. Thanks for bringing back the memories. You continue to amaze us Robert!!!
Robert ... TRULY AMAZING footage that you've captured !!!!! BEST I've seen on UA-cam yet !!! "Thank you" for taking that LONG Hike to the top .... The views were something to always cherish :) :) :) :) :)
Oh, Robert. You took my breath away. Thank You. You are so talented, the Majestic videography, the awesome effort of the hike, the beautiful background music and the brilliant editing. You're the best and this is your best work.
The best way to see the Valley is to get a campground reservation there in the spring of fall and to bring bikes. Far less people and parking isn’t an issue. The bike trails are not crowded and you are not in your car all day.
Awesome to see someone step out of their comfort zone and meet a new personal goal! I felt that way the first time I was forced to dance at a nightclub back when I was 18! ha ha.
What I love about him trying these hikes is that I can’t physically do them and have missed out on so much when my friends go, but watching these video is like opening a new world to me! Soon I will be able to do this myself I hope but in the meantime I have these videos!
@travelingrobert by the way if you are ever back in Michigan and want to see where your trusty Merrell shoes were made stop in Rockford MI. The main headquarters for Merrell and Wolverine Worldwide is in Rockford. They have a great retail/clearance store there as well. And Rockford is a great town to check out for an afternoon! That is where I get all my Merrell at, I love their shoes!
I have watched 2 × over , awestruck with incredible views! The 90 minute drive from campsite to park after all this hiking had to be so tiring, worth it though! Thanks for taking is along on this fantastic journey! Love the channel! 👏👏👍👏👏
I went to Yosemite National Park over Christmas break last year and it is one of my favorite National Parks! I was so anxiously waiting for this episode!
Simply an amazing, awe-inspiring, and terrifying vid Robert! Me: "Yeah I'd like to hike Yosemite Falls and go to the overlook." Watches Robert's vid. Me: "Yeah...EFF THAT!"
cooper family here me and my son spending quality time together watching this video together thanks robert again for walking 8 miles for us love yea man
Thanks Robert for another great video. We visited Yosemite in April 2019, just months before your visit. You showed us Tioga Pass which was not open when we were there and we didn't do any trails. Once again, you "filled in the blanks" for us. Much appreciated.
My friend this is an amazing video. Quality of the video is superb and the atmosphere is captured perfectly. Your natural style compliments its and thoroughly enjoyed watching it. It’s one of my dreams to visit Yosemite but if I don’t you made me feel like I was there. Thank you ❤️
One of the most amazing things I saw there were the huge huge sequoia red woods. One of them they actually used to drive a car through. I actually looked like a little ant beside the tree. The pinecones were about 12 inches long and 4 inches around.. it took you on a trail through the grove that led a trail that took you directly across from half dome. The sun was setting to the west so it was shining beautiful on half dome. And the valley was in bloom with all of the beautiful wildflowers reflecting off of the lake, and deer were roaming all over the valley. I think it is probably the most beautiful place I’ve ever seen. I can see why Adams loved being there so Much.
Awesome, I've done that Yosemite Falls Trail a couple of times but I was much younger, yes the valley gets very crowded in the summer. You miss things going too fast there, but I've been there 20xs or so, and there is always things I can't do. The best thing to do is park and get on their valley bus, FREE, and stop at the different places and hike. There is swimming available in that pool, which is cold, and the river too, snow water. So much to do there. Bridal Val falls trail is really nice too, much easier. Half Dome would have kicked your butt...This is a place to go back to, the best time to visit is early Sept after the schools are back in session, there is much less traffic then The Awannee Hotel has a very large room with a huge walk in fireplace and coaches, so you can linger there if you want a comfy place, once it was so cold where we camped we went there and played scrabble near the big fireplace a great time. Some of my favorite times of my life are in Yosemite. Thanks for taking us to the top of the world. Tioga Pass is amazing! Wonderful Robert!
Last time I was there they had changed the name of the Ahwahnee to the Grand, nd it really made me mad, so I'm happy to hear they got their name back. Thanks so much Robert!
We visited Yosemite a few years back and it seemed everyone there including us came down with a stomach bug. Long queues for the toilets. So we were not up to the upper falls hike. So thanks for doing it for us and showing the amazing views
Congratulations on getting to the point! We live about three hours from Yosemite, but avoid it like the plague until about mid-October. Too many people. Unfortunately, the poor park is getting loved to death. Just a note, if you plan to do more long hikes, be sure to carry extra water and a water filter. I can't tell you how many times I've had to bail out people who have run out of water on Sierra trails. Sawyer is a good, simple brand of filter.
Sooooooooooo great!!! I've hiked so many trails in Yosemite, but not the Yosemite Falls trail, so this was fantastic to see. So glad you took that extra mile. I'm also glad to see that you are going to explore Tuolumne Meadows - so many incredibly beautiful places/hikes there. I loved all the waterfall shots, so perfectly framed. 🤗 P. S. It's pronounced "Too-awl-um-knee". P. P. S. You're lucky it was such a heavy snow year - usually, upper Yosemite Falls is dry by that time of year.
Thank you for the amazing views! So much exposure...I don't think my fear of heights would allow me to experience this trail any other way. The views of the falls on your way back were gorgeous! I've been watching a bunch of these videos of yours. You really have a gift for telling the story of the locations you visit. Getting to watch them feels like receiving a gift!
Brother Robert, your professionalism and persistence well paid off, you're top of the world where very few able to achieve, well done, I am proud of you.👍

Hello Robert, what a magnificent view from Yosemite Falls and Yosemite Point! I have been anxiously for this footage and it was amazing. My son and I are already planning a road trip this summer to Yosemite, Seqoia, Kings Canyon, and Death Valley. I am really looking forward to the next video footage. Great job Robert!

Awesome job on this video, Robert! Yosemite Falls was my first-ever mountain hike and I was in my mid-thirties. My brothers planned the trip and I tagged along. "Strenuous" doesn't quite describe it. With a make-shift walking stick, counting 20 steps at a time before resting, I persisted to the top. It was sooo tough! But so rewarding and well-worth it. I was thinking the hike down would be much easier. Uh-uh. Tough on the knees and toes. Sorry about your shoes and water; two of the most essential things. Since then, I've hiked half-dome twice, before there was a lottery. The second trip up, the cables were teaming with people, both sides of both cables, in a hurry. It seemed very dangerous. They needed a lottery. Yosemite. Even the name is magical. Your video is accurately beautiful. All that's missing is the feel of the mountain breeze and some of the water-fall sounds. (Loved seeing the bear cub. I've had many bear encounters in the Eastern Sierras. Always a potential danger but fortunately there are no Grizzlies in CA)
Just discovered your Channel. Really enjoyed hiking along with you. Oh the traffic! It must really be worth getting through it to see the beautiful landscape. My heart was beating fast just looking at the sheer drops and narrow trails!!! But I'm good, because I would never go up there. Don't think I'd could do it without being a drag to anyone I was with! But the view from the top was breathtaking, even on my computer screen!! Thanks for taking us along! I'm definitely subscribing to your channel.
MAGNIFICENT!!! Wow, what beauty and what a hike!!! I have to admit that watching some of those views I felt some vertigo. This is your best video, my husband and I were living that hike with you. That fantastic Yosemite Falls is truly spell-binding. Thank you so much for sharing this adventure with us.❤️
Incredible how it has changed. My family vacationed there in 1974...no traffic, no eating places...just a ranger and bears raiding the dumpsters. Even had a huge black bear sniffing at our cabin door-- frightening to say the least, as we had our three children...one a baby! Looks much safer now.
Hi Robert! I have done many of the hikes in Yosemite including Half Dome. I have to say that the Yosemite Falls hike was the hardest. Especially on the way down. Thank you for sharing your experience.
FANTASTIC video. I loved this one, and shared it with all my friends. That was one super challenging hike you did, and so scary. I am amazed that you had the energy to cook after that. Thanks for allowing us to share that incredible, awesome experience. And it was great meeting you at the Florida RV Supershow on Saturday morning.
Amazing hike! When you do something you really go all out. My husband always complains to me that you always say "one day, one day" and never take enough hikes. And then you go for a mega hike like this. Kind of reminded me of this amazing hike you did in some Arizona State Park along the 10, halfway between Phoenix and Tuscon.
I always wondered if the cross country trip and crowds would be worth going to Yosemite. Based on this video, it is! Thank you Robert for the efforts you make and the time it takes to produce these videos.

You do a beautiful job on ll of your work. Thank you. I always do look at the very end of each video to see you wave as you are driving away, funny I aromatically wave back.
Yosemite, Josha Tree and Yellowstone are the most beautiful state park.
