Thanks Matt. Always appreciate that you put about 600% extra into making your videos. 1) I agree with Jennifer that the best of the three is the omelet. When you finished rolling the omelet onto the plate lightly run a pat of butter across the top. Sour cream and Onion? That is by far my favourite chip. 2) I don't follow authentic bolognese, while I have made it I had to look up how to spell it correctly. I always cook the onions first and then add the rest of the mise en place. I believe one should cook the meat (Italian sausage for me) on its own and drain off the fat. Be it a tomato or meat sauce I always add red wine. It may not be Italian but it is damn good. I think yourversion is an outstanding copycat version. 3) I think you did an amazing job on the canoli (thanks for the movie quote - laughed out loud), but there is nothing appealing about beyond the Parmesan shell. I would likely go with a tube shaped meat log or a ricotta/spinach/cheese/cayenne mixture. I don't watch The Bear but I really did love your choices. Thanks for all of your hard work. ps: Swifties don't have a sense of humour so be careful lol
Thanks Greg!! I completely forgot to add the butter at the end, I usually do that... oops... I usually add red wine to my ragu's as well! I've never made parmesan shells before, but I was shocked at how easy it was! But the rest needed improvement, I think it ended up on the show because it looked cool. It tasted unique but wasn't my favourite for sure. Thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed!
It's one of those that you watch it and it clicks for you and you keep wanting more or you're confused why everyone likes it and you think it's trash. Give it a try. I had no expectations or understanding what it was about and I devoured season 1 & 2
What was your favorite dish from The Bear, Season 2?!? Doesn't need to be from this video. Let me know!!
I really want to try that omelette with the potato chips!
@@jenniferhallihan2484 its a pretty smart addition!!
