Giving a slow and easy to take care of character something to do while they're being camped sounds good, it also increases their ability to be aggressive when they'd otherwise have to play the waiting game. The exception to this rule is someone shouldn't die just for being on the stage and you have fun limit and decide to press down B
You should make the Ultimate Mii Fighter (essentially a mii that uses the best of the three fighter types and combine certain attacks and special moves).

Think about it like a Mii Swordfighter that is as fast as Mii Brawler. The sword is multipurpose, as it can be used to slice opponents but can shoot projectiles at the end of it or cause explosions (think of moves like fair being typical mii Swordfighter and gunner fair combined and attacks like down tilt and down air with an explosive tipper). Plus, this mii fighters would have rocket boots and palms that can be used for certain attacks (like Brawler's back air but with an explosive sweet spot or back and forward throw being a kill move). I can talk more about how this character can feel unique and viable with some creative thinking, but I don't want to write too much.
