@randomcommenterheredontmin4390 you have to remember that every American sport only has one major super league where every team plays. Instead of arguing that Footballers are underpaid, I would like to argue that other athletes are overpaid. $700m is absurd and nobody needs that kind of wealth
Haaland is going to be 29 years old, move to Madrid for €150m on a 5 year contract and either be sold after 2 good seasons to Saudi equivalent league of 2029 or retire before he finishes the 5 years.
Premier League players aren't underpaid, our perception of what value a sport star has has been skewed by clubs spending outside their means for so long. Top player should get % of gates and merch sales, but never never make more than 10 million for every 5 years they play. Also, excluding gates and merch/concession sales, if clubs are competing in Continental competitions and profit over double their expenditure should be give away to their league to be used for grassroutes sports projects and accessibility project. IMHO
Or the people who offered it can make bad things happen, so he better sign. Liverpool owned by a country that disappears people? Too bad, we could get those contracts done really quick.
Betting on him having a clause that allows him to leave for nothing if they get kicked out the Prem. Or at least a clause that means he can leave on loan for as long as it takes for City to return to the Prem.
If football weren’t scripted AND overtly corrupt, this would actually be hilarious as City would be not only relegated BUT kicked out of the professional football league and forced to start all the way from the lowest level on the pyramid. 🤭 But since football is just this era’s gladiator games and largely scripted to coop the attention of the masses so that oligarchs and states may launder their dirty laundry, continue committing genocide, et al, this is just a spoiler to the fact that City will walk free after raping any notions of fair play like a drugged person at a college party somewhere. 🤭 Frankly, I’m disappointed that he didn’t go with his initial plan but being a mere character actor in a global play, I’m not surprised.
for all those fantasizing about himplaying in the championship, don't forget that Juventus got caught for cheating too, docked to serie b, and yet the came right back up and spanked everyone for a couple of years. I dont see city getting stuck in the championship, if the EFA finally decides to punish them because they are now in a bad form and have much less to lose. City has risen to fame by cheating, and i don't see them losing no matter the decision on 115: just look at their pulling power in market.
At any given time, there are 450 players with roster slots in the NBA-30 teams with 15 players. The collective bargaining agreement between players and owners ensures that both sides receive around 50% of basketball related income every year. The NBA had $11B+ revenue last year. So basketball is a very profitable league with few players and a fairly equitable split between players an ownership. Luka Doncic (top 5 player in NBA) will have an upcoming contract extension that will top out at $70m in his final year. It’s just a completely different structure
No, it could not be that. Look at the player share of total revenue in sports in the US. It's the main thing that player's unions negotiate over. They aren't "overpaid." You could argue that pro athletes shouldn't make that much money, but you'll have to take that up with the fans that pay the money to support the teams and support the advertisers.
I'm just confused how they are going to pay his salary in the second division and still have that comply with ffp. Oh wait, it's rules for thee not for MC.

@muhammedmustafa3403 I'd either say, people who actually need it right now or, if you really wanna get technical, no one because that money no longer is there. Less money being spent lowers inflation*

Caps don't work in a global sport as the MLS has found, even with the likes of DP's and other mechamisms they have around salary caps they still find themselves resctricted. it resticts who they can bring in as often other leagues can offer a player more and the struggle to keep players from moving to other leagues that should be weaker leagues. And for example if you had £100k a week as a cap, in some leagues that would be nothing as the clubs can afford that with ease but the cost of living is much higher in that country, while in another league no club can afford that really but living there is really cheap so its more appealing financially.
underpaid when compared to superstars in other sports like shohei ohtani who is making 800 million on his contract playing baseball for the dodgers, halaand will be making less than half that contract alone. just watch the video lil bro
The deal has nothing to do with City basically getting off of the charges. Firstly if City get relegated they can't afford to pay Haaland so would be lookig to offload him. And even if they decided to just find it from owner money and take any ffp punishment then almost certainly there is almiost certainly be a release clause if they get releagted

And all struggle International and national afterwards for years or until now. Real won for example no CL title in 32 years until Jupp Heynckes won it for them in 1998. No team is on the top all the time. The club is already is already only on place 5 and wait when Pep leave. Same
no one, not even City, can afford 500k for one player long term under PSR. They already have squad problems and are on pace to have their worst season in a decade. I think they are just trying to drive up the transfer price for Real Madrid.
Man City keep a lower number of players than most clubs, and they have already kept KDB on 450k a week for years with no issues. They also have stellar financial management and make way more money than most other clubs on sponsorships, media, movies, Netflix/Prime series, etc. There's a reason that out of the 115 charges (or 130, I believe by now), only 6 are connected to financials, and all of them are for the 2016/17 season. Whatever you want to say about them, the owners are running and managing the club unbelievably well.
Lies Real Madrid did it for ronaldo and so did Barca for messi actually barca were paying more so if Man City can’t on the revenue they get then Barca and Real Madrid definitely couldn’t for the 10 years or so they did it for

They were never guilty in the first place 92 of the charges are for not giving evidence which they don’t need to do but if u don’t they just add another charge on and they keep doing that Tahts why there’s 92 of them

And Perez and Barca are seeing that and he will likely go to one of the two before he retires. He likely telling Real or Barca to start clearing out some space.
Imagine how many chocolate turtles he can buy with that money
Finally He can Just Take drugs and chill Out without any consequenses
He can finally be humble
Anyone with Haaland in their team from FM25 onward is using the editor
Weird things happen in FM, in WTS' current save, even Haaland got released at 30.
Haaland will be the same age as i was when he first came to City
Premier League players aren't underpaid, our perception of what value a sport star has has been skewed by clubs spending outside their means for so long.
Top player should get % of gates and merch sales, but never never make more than 10 million for every 5 years they play.
Also, excluding gates and merch/concession sales, if clubs are competing in Continental competitions and profit over double their expenditure should be give away to their league to be used for grassroutes sports projects and accessibility project. IMHO
What a steal on getting him to accept a wage similar to a man utd reserve
😂😂👏👏👏
Or the people who offered it can make bad things happen, so he better sign. Liverpool owned by a country that disappears people? Too bad, we could get those contracts done really quick.
you think that City are going to make a man disappear? How delusional are you? What fantasy world do you live in?
Its because he knows he will start to slow down
When It comes to contract and prison time. WE know He will only sit max 2/3 of the time
Wait till you sign the best wonderkids on fm then haaland wont ever leave
i want this to come to FM so i can signed wonderkids and locked them up to a 10 year contract 🤣🤣🤣
Betting on him having a clause that allows him to leave for nothing if they get kicked out the Prem. Or at least a clause that means he can leave on loan for as long as it takes for City to return to the Prem.
"In exchange for a significant sum"
Yeah a Bajillion pound move to another team the UAE owns. Piss take.
You can feel the copium from the screen 😂
If football weren’t scripted AND overtly corrupt, this would actually be hilarious as City would be not only relegated BUT kicked out of the professional football league and forced to start all the way from the lowest level on the pyramid. 🤭
But since football is just this era’s gladiator games and largely scripted to coop the attention of the masses so that oligarchs and states may launder their dirty laundry, continue committing genocide, et al, this is just a spoiler to the fact that City will walk free after raping any notions of fair play like a drugged person at a college party somewhere. 🤭
Frankly, I’m disappointed that he didn’t go with his initial plan but being a mere character actor in a global play, I’m not surprised.
for all those fantasizing about himplaying in the championship, don't forget that Juventus got caught for cheating too, docked to serie b, and yet the came right back up and spanked everyone for a couple of years. I dont see city getting stuck in the championship, if the EFA finally decides to punish them because they are now in a bad form and have much less to lose. City has risen to fame by cheating, and i don't see them losing no matter the decision on 115: just look at their pulling power in market.
patrick mahomes type contract
Much better for the club, the injury risk is orders of magnitude less
“Real Madrid is suffering”
They’re top of the league
theyre 22nd place in the champions league
@ wow such suffering, they’re in a qualification place
could it not be that stars in USAsports are overpaid rather than European football stars are underpaid?
1 month for every charge City has
this length sound like sentence, not contract
I'm just confused how they are going to pay his salary in the second division and still have that comply with ffp. Oh wait, it's rules for thee not for MC.
If they get promoted it wont matter just like Leicester, wolves, villa and Newcastle and the rest that broke ffp in the championship
theres probably a release clause for relegation that would mitigate that
Ask Utd supporters if they still call City's ground the "council ground", see what reaction you get, I been getting real good ones. The EPL is ALL ABOUT THE MONEY and city have too much for major punishment, because also all those unmarked envelopes will come to a stop.
So haaland signs a new contract at city and the only thing you talk about is his getting out of city. 😂ok
6:00 making 700m/10yrs and for all intents and purposes iligal to a/the Sport, paying nearly everthing (97%) after hes retired, whats the point to sporting contracts at that point
There are some important people in football who had a say on this
Me expecting a Gary lineker or Alan Shearer but Mark Goldbridge😂
Could there be a relegation release clause. (Clubs in champions league)
So he'll stay if they get demoted to the 10th tier for breaking all those rules?
Great, gives him 9.5 years to help us get back to the top 😂
06:34 not a case that footballers are underpaid, with the sounds of it baseball players are horrendously overpaid
Martyn Zeigler came out after the other reporters and said there are No release clauses at all and of course there is a Spanish media outlet saying there is still a clause because Madrid always spin some sort of Pr when something doesn’t go according to their plan lmao they have done it countless times. If you wanna be a big UA-camr at least maybe fact check more and research beyond the bare minimum nonsense lol
11:29 dude what? City had a european trophy pre sheik mansour. Has palace ever won anything in their history?
Bro you completely missed the point, which was they weren’t competing for the league or European spots, just floating mid table before getting taken over and rising up to the dominant force they are now
What about that cheeky £0 relegation release clause? :)
The Haaland contract doesn't make sense. At least with chelsea's stupid contracts, they are spreading the fees
are you a pyrocynical fan by any chance
Relegation release clause deffo
Maybe haaland has a relegation release clause
haaland suddenly injured
Shohey defered 68 mil a year.
Florentino Pérez done screwed up.
nah, its better, having 3 of the best players in the world in the same rarely works, see Barcelona, Neymar and the MSN felt he wasn't on the spot enough so he left for PSG, this would have caused problem, i mean Vinicius and Haaland dont have the best character
“Footballers are underpaid”…
Am I the only one who thinks wages for sport athletes should be capped? They deserve money, especially given their career can end from injury and things like that. But the money involved is just nuts.
Well who else are you going to give the money to
@muhammedmustafa3403 I'd either say, people who actually need it right now or, if you really wanna get technical, no one because that money no longer is there. Less money being spent lowers inflation*
@@Bagster321 The way you make it pay back is by reducing ticket prices because those are a small proportion of club revenue anyway. And also streaming fees could be cut because, particularly with the 3pm blackout, the price of subscriptions is disgusting.
@@muhammedmustafa3403 Clubs should be legally bound to invest and improve areas near their stadium and training facility to offset the negative effects it has. Noise, wild fans, traffic etc. and generally improving their community.
And half of that goes to tax 😂
By the end of Haalands career we will barely remember Messi and Ronaldol. Heia Norge!
Unless he managed to win at least one World Cup/European Nations Cup for Norway, or win seven UCL trophies.
U think he's gonna get 8 ballon d'ors multiple ucl titles ten plus league titles and a world cup and euros 😂😂😂 urs on some shit if u think that
@@makenziestancer146 He will not win the WC, but certainly break every major scoring record.
@torernning8652 depends if he gets an injury but yeh he has a good shot but to day he is or will be better than those 2 is criminal
He's going to outshine the consistent 70 G/A seasons of Messi and Ronaldo? Have you ever even watched Messi and Ronaldo in their prime?
We must go on strike for Haaland to be paid more.
Stand up for underpaid footballers!
The idea that someone who earns half a million per week is underpaid, gtfo 😂😂
Good to know Haaland's going be sticking around when they get yeeted down the Football League
You don't believe thats happening, stop it 😂
That's not real English. WHAT!😅
The contract isn’t longer then your forehead
Sounds salty, weird guy overall, hope uk your videos don’t pop up on my page again
Anyone knows how you block on yt?
UNDERPAID? 500000 a week and he is underpaid.
What?!
Do you actually think Qatar needs more money? Why do you care
underpaid when compared to superstars in other sports like shohei ohtani who is making 800 million on his contract playing baseball for the dodgers, halaand will be making less than half that contract alone. just watch the video lil bro
I agree but at 500k a week only 1 team in Europe can afford him and I bet they would sit back laughing while playing hardball. and he won't go to Saudi.
Bro what are these thumbnails 😭😭 widen out deepfried picture with some goofy clickbait tittle like "This situation is INSANE"
footballers get paid less because the roaster is HUGE, if football teams were as small as nba teams image the salaries...
Even if you add his 80M transfer fee and earlier wages, City will have paid 350M for him over his career
80M? We just making up numbers now?😂
His transfer fee from dortmund. Is this your first week as a soccer fan?
Whole prime at this club is s wasted career
Wasted career challenging for all trophies every season 😂
@liamabrahams3166 same thougt Milan in 2007, Bayern in 90s, United in 2013, Real in 2003, Ajax in the 90s, Dortmund 97, Barca in 2015, Liverppol in 2005, PSG in 2020, Arsenal in 2006, Inter in 2010, Juve in 2005 and 2020. And all struggle International and national afterwards for years or until now. Real won for example no CL title in 32 years until Jupp Heynckes won it for them in 1998. No team is on the top all the time. The club is already is already only on place 5 and wait when Pep leave. Same
if we was less cute he wouldve been paid less
no one, not even City, can afford 500k for one player long term under PSR.
He ain't a real Madrid player.
Lies Real Madrid did it for ronaldo and so did Barca for messi actually barca were paying more so if Man City can’t on the revenue they get then Barca and Real Madrid definitely couldn’t for the 10 years or so they did it for
@ wasn't that before modern PSR rules?
UNDERpaid...
.5M x 52 =26M
I usually only come this early with my girlfriend but here i am
As far as sport payment differences go, in soccer salaries are quoted in net terms/AFTER tax vs American sports use gross terms/ BEFORE tax.
No soccer wages is before tax too.
@L1am21 most sources quote after. Transfermarkt, opta analyst, swiss ramble are all great resources
You are American mate. In the NHL you can do 8 year contracts when a player has 1 year or less remaining, so basically a 9 year contract
No, because those are two separate contracts. Otherwise, most players would nit be able to sign them with the salary cap works.
seriously this guy is saying these players receiving multi-million pounds for playing football are underpaid? can you introduce me to your dealer would love some of those stuff you smoke
😂
In comparison to American athletes man at least listen to the video
@@Versace_sheets oh believe me I did. except the word "underpaid" shouldn't ever be in the same sentence with players that are paid 6 figures a week, no matter the context. there should be more regulations in place instead of comparing to even more overpaid Americans athletes
I think you are the first person I have ever seen arguing for a salry cap in football/soccer. @@jcd15jcd
@@jcd15jcd by the amount of money they bring in, yes they are
Ok
Bro said the players end up being overpaid😂🤣🤣😂😭that’s the final straw Zea. There’s been 3 takes a video where you sound insane. I’m done with it
*Is man city even going to be relevant in 2 years really?*
Yes.
@ well see
The Hairline Is Insane
Not sure why people automatically think that this guarantees they aren’t guilty, I’d imagine the contract has some sort of contract termination clause if the club were to find themselves in serious trouble with a huge amount of compensation as well.
They were never guilty in the first place 92 of the charges are for not giving evidence which they don’t need to do but if u don’t they just add another charge on and they keep doing that Tahts why there’s 92 of them
