Ray Manzarek is one of those guys who have held themselves together through everything that happened in the sixties and seventies and came out of it unscathed. He's a straight laced sort of guy who can concentrate fully on what he is doing, that is why he is such a great musician and a cool dude.

Youre right about that, Jim's family in 2001 took care of the financial part of it,from what I know.
Its never been made clear who made the decision to bury him there. The authorities in Paris knew Pamela wasnt his wife when he died and he was not a French citizen; the whole story never made any sense.

He didnt just visit Paris, he had been living there just about 4 months when he died. He supposedly had said that, but legally he was still an American and his will had no burial instructions. After reading The Doors by The Doors(Ben Fong-Torres), its apparent Jim had more contact with his family than is actually known; they may have known right away that he died and had some part in arranging his burial.

    Ray.
You are intresting in your own right. I would like to interview you alone about your experience with the doors.
Jim seems to be everyone's focus.
I think you and Robbie have some intersting shit to say about being doors members.
I wish I could interview you.

Yeah, I agree with the one user on here who said that you (the poster) should've combined all these clips into one or two segments. But that's beside the point really. I agree with Ray though, I think Jim would love to have people go nuts when they visit his grave lol. Jim was all about doing the unorthodox and challenging established beliefs and doing your own thing.
