I've got a Dr pen and it takes forever to do the top of my head. Save yourself some time and get a 1.5mm derma stamp. With the stamp I do the the whole top of my head in about 3 minutes and it doesn't hurt as much as the pen either.

I think that might come about if you move the pen too quickly, the roller needles are by far the worst for that in my opinion. The stamp definitely eliminates tearing because of the up and down motion. I find the pen hurts more because of the speed and added vibrations on my skull. On fleshy parts of the body I like the pen but on the head or any other parts where there's bone it's not for me and I actually have a high pain threshold.

The derma roller causes more tearing of the skin since it is rolled at a 45 degree angle against the scalp whereas the micro needling device is 90 degrees, perpendicular. The micro needling device also oscillates 8000-18,000 RPMs which allow for better blow flow, more micro tears for hair growth stem cells.
2-3 times a week for micro needling or derma rolling is recommended. You don't want to do it every single day as the scalp needs to heal. Micro needling device is better, in my opinion, since it results in faster healing and less trauma.

Thickness of hair and scalp probably plays a big factor in the depth needed. I can bleed with .5mm on my bald crown but little irritation with 1/2" long hair mid scalp.

I think. There may be tiny vellus hairs but I can't tell.
I have been in minox derma finas treatment for more than 3 months, in fact its more than double of that amount and my hair is still in progress of recovering. I dont know what went wrong, or is it just work differently for different person and my effect is happens to be very slow? Im sad :(

My thought too, i used dermarolling with minoxidil, but the sides of minox is just not for me. Cant even sleep because of the heart pumps.

no liquids or serum, but I do apply minoxidil about 12 hours later. Studies show it works best when used in conjunction.
