Hello, Sr. I have a question, how many needles do the cartridges should have? Because I know that they come with 12 16 32 etc etc. What's the optimal amount for hair growth? Thanx!
Good video. But I think you should be disinfecting your skin with rubbing alcohol before microneedle. Most surgical infections come from the patients own skin.
Is it safe to only put the needles on Alcohol when first time using the needles ? I mean is that enough to prevent any serious infections from bad batch of needles beeing shipped from eBay or Amazon for example ?
@@meyou804 What I did was keep my derma roller needles in rubbing alcohol an hour before I need it (which was probably overkill) and I used rubbing alcohol to wipe down the area on my scalp, including the hair. Question: is it really correct to move in a circular way the dermapen? I mean, you buy a dermapen instead of a dermaroller in order to not have the dragging needle effect caused by the way a roller works, and then you drag the dermapen... Isn't it better to gently stamp the pen?

Question: You said you micro twice a week is that 1.5 twice a week or 1.5 and a mix of something smaller? I know some people micro with .25 everyday before minox but wasn't sure if you could do 1.5 more than once a week
My question is when using this in conjunction with minox do the hairs fall back out after you stop using it? Doesn’t that happen normally when you stop using minox ?
HAIRLICIOUSLY okay thank you. Last question do you think peppermint oil could sorta be a substitute for minox without the side effects or losing it later on? I know it’s not as effective though
You can mix Rosemary oil with almond oil it's very effective on blocking DHT instead of using any medicines like finasteride wich is very harmful for your hormones balance especially testostérone
Just got my Dr pen m8 with 16 needle cartridges. Started at 0.5 with intention of working up to 1.5 but I couldn't really go past 0.75 it's pretty painful and I did get the scalp redness. Also the sensation after is warmth and low grade pain/numb feeling. I can't fathom doing this at 1.5 I feel like I'd be stabbing My brain at that point lolololol
You can buy a numbing cream, it is sold without a prescription. People use it before wide range of minor topical / cosmetic procedures that cause pain. Apply 1 hour before needling. It should reduce the pain.
Hey! Thank you for making these videos. Here's what I don't understand: are you applying the dermapen to areas where there is only no hair? I am afraid of cutting my existing hair or causing a shed. Thank you!

In the video, the dermapen is clearly not adjusted at 1.5mm whe he performs the mocroneedling. Do not be fooled! It is clearly visible that the needles are barely over the plastic guard when he change skull location. You WILL BE BLEEDING AT 1.5MM WITH A DERMAPEN!

I’m 17 an I’ve been thinning at my temples for about 2 years now. I’ve been taking saw palmetto, using derma roller, just changed how eat (pretty healthy anyway), been using low light laser therapy and various other things. Do you suggest using any minoxidil or sumn like that for my hair line?
Also finesteride to block DHT production once you turn 18 (if there are any laws about that idk). I think I might start dermapinning after this, but I've been doing minoxidil 5% for 1.5 years and saw almost no gains whatsoever; it probably stopped it from getting worse but that's it. I started finesteride at that same time, but found I was sensitive to it and noticed side effects within days of being on it. I stopped it for a while as a result, but I saw a video with a Australian dr.s talking about reducing the dosage of you were sensitive. Basically you can take a smaller dosage everyday or just take the same dose less frequently since it takes time to work out of your system. Its about keeping a certain level in your system. So I began with taking 1mg once every 2 weeks about a year ago, worked up to once a week after a few months, then every 3 days, and now I've been on 1mg once every other day for about 4 months now. Within the last month I started shampooing only once per week, and between that and the higher dosage of finasteride in my system I've actually started to see an entire layer of small translucent hairs growing on my temple sides. I have 0 bald spots, but my entire top is diffuse, which my long hair hides somewhat. Anyway, minox barely helps for me. I think the finesteride is working but it's just so slow coming and after 1.5 years of trying to treat hairloss the lack of results until just recently has been pretty disappointing. I bet if I through in the pen that may help those tiny hairs grow bigger and stronger? Idk, but if I had noticed my thinning hair sooner (didn't because my hair is long and I was keeping it back for work all the time) and had known what I know now, I would have just started with the finesteride (even though I had some side effects the first time around) way back when I was 26 or 27 before the hairloss had really started. I'm 31 and noticed I was thinning at 29 btw.

@@enzothatguy From what I briefly remember fromthe research I've done and generally speaking, if someone has male pattern baldness it means that their DHT (which is converted from testosterone and that everyone has) will be able to accumulate in the hair follicle and eventually the hairs will not get enough nutrients and die out. One of the ways people deal with this is with finasteride (a drug) which will partially reduce the amount of DHT in the body targeting the primary problem of hairloss. This drug disrupts the natural way the body works so this isn't healthy and can cause serious side effects so please do your research. So people can use microniddling in conjunction with the drug, but alone it isnt really targeting the problem, but can help with bloodflow and maybe other aspects. So if you stop microneedling and using the drug, DHT will continue to go to the hair follicle and making them fall, since this is a natural process for the body of male pattern baldness individuals. Im no professional so please do further research! Hopefully I was able to help!

Recently I have noticed some severe shedding when micro needling (I’ve only been doing it for a month and a bit) and I’m seriously considering g stopping.
Should I be worried about possibly damaging transplanted hairs with the microneedlinf device set at 1.5mm. I was planning on just using the device over the majority of the top of my head. Thanks
I don’t recommend circular motions if you have long hair because the needles will break or cut the existing hair. Better to part hair and go on the created lines by touching and lifting your microneedling pen
If i can comfortably use 2.5 mm for my derma stamp, is this ok? No scarring or wounds but I feel 1.5 mm just isn’t enough stimulation. If anything, I feel I should go up 3 mm.
Been watching your channel for a while and others hair lost channels as well, sadly I learned that to get hair back the only way is really getting one of of those expensive hair transplants. Things like micro needling and Rogain just help you gain like just a ‘tad’ of a hairline, you could get some results when it comes to fullness and thickness , its really sad for me cause I tried so hard with all these methods. How long after I have applied the numbing cream should I wait before microneedling. I ask because 1.5 millimeters is too painful, I can only manage .75 millimeters and I don't think I will get any results with that. Thank you.
I just watched a different video that says 4-5% lidocaine numbing cream takes 20-30 mins to reach its peak effectiveness. In the video they repeated parted the hair & applied it in rows & working from one side to top & down other side just where you will be midcorneedling. I also read that numbing cream should be rinsed out before microneedling. Microneedling can be done on damp hair/scalp which makes it easier to part so you can again work from front to back crown in rows. Another study cited by a cosmetics doctor showed the ideal needle depth for scalp to actually be 0.6 - 0.8, so maybe try that for awhile to see if it works better & is more tolerable painwise.
I tried 1.5 and it was extremely painful and bloody. My head had red spots for several days, I was pressing down on it though so I guess I won't do that.
Yeah no pressure is really required and you can always go down to 1.0mm if it is too painful. The 1.5mm is just a reference based on the Indian study that had good hair growth
HAIRLICIOUSLY can you see the needles move up and down when the device is on ? I have the same exact pen. To me the needles rise once I turn it on, and vibrates. It does leave my head sore after my sessions, I have not drawn blood yet just wanna make sure I’m using it correctly.
Ask and you shall receive. Thanks for the great video! I am expecting my micro needling pen next week and am excited to add it to my regime of LLT/ supplements. I know you have probably made a video previous but which LLT device do you use? I use irestore which I would recommend (the device sure and LLT for hair loss sure). I have not tried minoxidil as I fear I won’t be able to keep up with the 2 times I day. I will have to shuffle through your videos to see if you show your minoxidil regime.
Save your money llt is the biggest scam in the hair loss industry I did it for 3 months in a clinic and was later told by a hair transplant Dr that its complete bullshit, and other inics offer it as a cash cow his clinic will never offer it because he said his reputation was more important than easy money.
macgar100 not sure of your talking about LLT or micro needling? I have been using the irestore (for just over a year) and would recommend it to anyone. My pen arrived today and I will start using it in conjunction with LLT and nizoral. Any bit helps in my opinion.

Question: is it really correct to move in a circular way the dermapen? I mean, you buy a dermapen instead of a dermaroller in order to not have the dragging needle effect caused by the way a roller works, and then you drag the dermapen... Isn't it better to gently stamp the pen?

I’m 17 an I’ve been thinning at my temples for about 2 years now. I’ve been taking saw palmetto, using derma roller, just changed how eat (pretty healthy anyway), been using low light laser therapy and various other things. Do you suggest using any minoxidil or sumn like that for my hair line?
I would recommend minoxidil 5%. Its known to give better results esp with microneedling

@@LeGolemdesNeiges Forever? So the hair that grows out falls out again or what?
