I don't think you will be able to find tank grips in the exact Ducati Red color, but transparent grips could be a better option than black. Mirrors work just fine as they are, I'm a bit against bar-ends on Panigale. Exhaust muffler looks misplaced, maybe there is a non-5000$ solution to fix that. Also, open/clear clutch configurations are available for boosting the posh factor and, as an European biscotti, I must emphasize the absolute necessity to install such contraption.
When i was buying honda cb650 as a first bike your cb650 tail tidy video came out and as soon as i started falling in love with ducatistas and wanted to buy myself v4s or diavel 1260s you release this video) i guess its a sign!!!! Btw love your videos. You are one of those people who actually got me into this incredible world of motorcycles. Take care!💥👍🏼
So....when I got my kit for my Monster 821 from NRC I discovered that Ducati loves the red loctite. I stripped several hex bolt heads and I literally had to rip off the tail with my bare hands hulk-style. Then I had to go back with a dremel on the bolt heads to be able to use a proper wrench. Afterwards, I discovered that the harness I needed was within the tail that I ripped off. Stripped those bolts as well and decided to use an iron maul to break the rest of the tail to get the harness...in doing so I smashed the turn signal connectors and had to order a new harness to install the kit. The NRC product is awesome...but red loctite is the devil's glue and you'll never change my mind about that.
Same issue here. Stripped the bolts on my Monster 821 doin the fender eliminator. Had to dremel and blowtorch to get them off to loosen up and finally came out.
You could add Frame sliders, front and rear fork slider, change to titanium exhaust, change the brake and clutch fluid reservoirs, darker windshield, performance air filter, heat shield, carbon clutch cover, bar ends, change to adjustable levers, titanium foot pegs, PPF and ceramic coating.
Hey Yammie! So I have a Panigale v2 2021 model. What I did was: add some carbon here and there (Expensive I know.) I added Rizoma Stealth mirrors (looks INSANE) NRC Tail tidy. Rizoma brake, clutch etc liquid holders (You can choose red or black ones!) The windscreen can be a little taller (there are options for it.) And added a full MIVV Race Pro exhaust system (AKRO is great, but so expensive!) And like you said everything stock is so perfect and of high quality it is difficult to imagine replacing anything unless it was broken or something. Carbon wheels would look cool, but again so expensive and the quality of the stock material is already so good.
I am a total Ducati Biscotti! I have a 2020 Diavel 1260S. So far my top speed is 147 mph. I didn’t stay there long but he definitely wanted to keep going. If you ever get to Long Beach, CA I will let you take him for a ride along the coast with views of the Pacific Ocean as the backdrop.
My only suggestion for possible mods on the bike would be either just distilled water for the radiator, or I think this stuff called cool blue. As well as some extra heat shielding for certain spots around the exhaust to mitigate heat. Also a massive Busa decal over the side, lol.
Evotech makes nice tail tidies. Not stamped steel with visible wires. They use billet aluminum that is hollowed out for wires. I did use NRC on my MV with similar install. I wish the NRC acrylic was a clear smooth type vs rough frosted. Most Ducati’s snd MV’s have the swing arm mounted license. I always keep that as any license plates hurts the look of a tail section of a bike.
I mean , it sounds great and all, but yes, an exhaust is necessary, right? also, i would change the clutch and brake levers and a tinted windscreen. i've seen some red ducs with golden rims, which i think looks cool, just some suggestions
1: NRC front turn signal block off indicators 2: taller windscreen (not the puig for the love of God) 3: slip on (full system is too expensive) 4: solo seat cowl 5: bar end mirrors Thats it Yams you can find all these things on a quick Google search. Motomillion has parts too.
Hey yammie now you must install a ducabike clear clutch cover, that mod is a must for every wet clutch ducati, and it's a mod that really gets the attention out of everyone. DO IT!

Idk why people don’t like mirrors on their bikes but personally I like them if they are sleek in design I think the give the bike more style also I feel like they look naked without mirrors so that’s my thought on mirrors
You should try heat wrapping the exhaust or some other form of heat protection because of the typical Ducati butt warmer, it might make it nicer to ride on those longer rides.
I really want a "tail tidy" for my 2019 Triumph Scrambler 1200XC. I've found a source in the UK, but they seem to have apprehensions about selling and shipping to the US. New Rage only has them for Scramblers up to 2016 model year. Any suggestions?
I had one from Tech bike parts on my 2019 scrambler Xc! They had a uk website but also a USA site! I did have to cut the current tail plastic but it was so easy and looked really really good
Hey Yam, I just grabbed a V2, it seems like there are some no cut frame slider options like aella, sato, and r&g. Maybe you could try one of those out before i do!
Ever since one hour jobs became 3 hour jobs for me as I got older😂, I decided it’s worth it for me to pay the $150 labor to have my local Ducati dealer mechanic (routinely) do it for me (they sell their own approved tail tidy at the dealership/shop). I put bar end mirrors on and wheel sliders myself but thats as complicated as I get on my Streetfighter.

Hey yammer knob is the angle on that license plate legal? I can see a cop not liking how angled up that is

I couldn't think I would melt

The angle of the license plate holder would make the license unreadable from the rear, a guaranteed cop magnet as if the bike wasn't already one.
unless it s adjustabe... is it?
The plate looks pretty horizontal on that tail tidy?, perhaps just the camera angle. Ii guess rules on tail tidies are different in US to EU?
Evotech makes nice tail tidies. Not stamped steel with visible wires. They use billet aluminum that is hollowed out for wires. I did use NRC on my MV with similar install. A tidy tail on my 16' Hypermotard 939 was an almost immediate mod, that and a set of frame sliders. Didn't take me long.
How about rearsets and a video on why fitting a bike to a rider is more important than a loud exhaust you can show off to squids.
