Nothing gets me like the momentum of rocketing out of the hangar while the Star Destroyer is still slowing down from coming out of Hyperspace. The Rebels may enjoy having onboard hyperdrive on their fighters, but they’ll never understand the thrill of being fired out of their Capitol ship like a blaster bolt. Truly a weapon for the glory of the Empire.
My favorite thing about this is the difference between parts where the animation is focused on the TIEs compared to when it's focused on the Star Destroyers. Really captures the sense that while the TIE fighters intercepting the rebel fighters is full of exciting dogfights and action sequences, once the destroyers get into range there's no more fight, just an obliterated rebel fleet. Also love how there's clearly some hints of The Imperial March in the Star Destroyer segments, but still definitely an original piece that stands on its own.
@@NiteshadeX2 yeah, I remember about that! That's some funny background. Just like the captain being a cinnamon roll that offer fruit basket to everyone or the rookie TIE pilot that leave chocolate to the female pilot.
@@NiteshadeX2 canon i doubt. Legends it is. Canon would not have ISD II's firing concussion missles NOR have that sick amount of weapons to boat. Plus: A tie bomber wiping out a whole squadron? Yea nope, thats Legends because its from the game Tie Fighter, wich by now is also legends/EU wich is sadly not canon anymore (It is CANON for me as disney couldnt fuck up more realy).
+FLJBeliever1776 Well, seeing that's when anime had it's peak and downfall in the UK, alot of us Brit weebs have a fondness for 80's/early 90's anime, but blame dumb mom's buying Legend of the Overfiend and Akira for their kids because "They're animated!" ignoring the big red 18 only stickers on the VHS boxes.
Michael Fisher I like that there is better acting now, along with improved graphics, but yes, I do feel the nostigic taste of the old classics of the 80s and 90s. Especially when things were more real instead of just showy and absolute fan service.
@@0XShadowdragonX0 It’s a joke about the stormtroopers’ portrayed bad aim, they meant to hit the like button, and missed. Someone probably got yelled at.
Even though pro I'm rebel and my stomach churns seeing the outcome of that battle, i just bring myself to hate this or the film, so, I'll let the Empire have this one.
Now this is an Anime i would love to see as a retro 1980's/1990's series!
STLSF 4003 The animation was made with that style, reminiscent of the 80's-90's but with the fluid animation of the modern age.

Noice.
Listening to this while playing squadrons is fun as hell
You're *not* wrong.
But listening to this and playing empire at war is just a little bit more fun😁
Is squadrons worth getting
Incel
Listeinign to this and playing warthunder is pretty fun too. Especially once you get to the supersonics.
When you first start out in the TIE fighter in Star Wars squadrons, I immediately thought of this animation and this amazing song.
9 years late but great job! Peace and Order!
Rebels: We have hope and a destiny. What do you bucket heads have?
Empire: Battle Scarred Badass Pilot Chick.

That female TIE Pilot fucking kicks ass.......and so does this sick metal track
I want you to know its canon she got her scar from her closest and lies about it.

I'm more of a rebels guy, but holy shit this music! And the video too.
My god, what an awesome fan film, and incredible soundtrack.

Stormtroopers? I watched the video, it is a imperial approved video, these 12 dislikes are from Rebels.

Coming back after realising *I* missed the joke.
it feels like a track from the game it's a homage to.
i would love to see this used in an animation of the CIS fighting the Republic
vulture droid has more of a ring than arc-170 anyways

+Jürgen Kraise Short animated movie made by a British chap.

+Jürgen Kraise Oh do we fucking wish it was.
This type of music reminds me of the old Thunder Force OSTs.
Me and the buds jumping in our TIE fighters cockpits to destroy rebel scums
