Excellent. If you can turn that 4th bowl you’ll have a treasure. Very nicely done. You will have a great yield, even with 3, that conventional turning can’t even dream about. Glad you shared this.

Hello again William. That was so interesting as I have used my one way coring system once and am plucking up the courage to use it again. I used 3” long screws which, of course are almost through the bottom of the cored bowl. It is nice to see you also use the Robert Sorby pro edge and the same screw driver and bit holder that I do. And my prize today is having you invite me along 🌞

Nice one William having the smallest one fly made it well worth coring the 4th one

Great Demo William, I love my Woodcut and it saves so much wood being turned into shavings. I have had that tennon slip myself when coring and as you said it is better than the tennon snapping.

Thanks very much shay, it's a great bit of kit for sure, looking forward to finishing this one I thought it was very plain until I got into it some beautiful subtle colours in it, thanks for watching kind regards from will 👍

Nice work Will. Like you stated in the video, coring saves turning a lot of wood into shavings on the floor. Hope to get a coring setup someday myself.

Thanks very much Stuart, if you have access to big wood, it would be a great investment 👍 😀

Why not go from smallest to largest so you don't have to rechuck? Does that tool not leave a good enough surface to sand?

You can do either way it's just my preference, it's just for rough cutting freshly cut blanks so they can be left to dry then finish at a later date.

I've done coring on a record power cornet regent 1.5hp it handled it very well.

I’ve got a Record Power Envoy so not sure if it would cope with coring. 🤔

If you put on the lowest belt for maximum torque I'd say it would be fine, start of with smaller bowls, kind regards from will 👍

May need to start saving up for a Woodcut coring system then! 😅. Thanks for the help.
