What gorgeous grain, and you left it natural enough to highlight the barkwood, the branching, and crotch compression. The inside especially, with the grain flowing perfectly around the bowl, but inside the bowl you've given us a glimpse into the swirling, tumultuous under the surface . I could stare at this bowl for hours. Do you keep your pieces, or would this one be for sale?

I love the natural color of the maple and how you kept the crack infill a color natural to the piece. It almoat looks like you took a flat round of wood and bent it into the curve of a bowl!

I've not seen damson wood before. Its a gorgeous colour, I'm going to have to look out for it. The layers and bark are great. You and Mike did a similar shaped bowl this week. Great minds and all that.

William did you make yourself some gin with the fruit of that tree. Great turn mate and a very nice wee natural edge bowl, I didn't know it was such lovely wood when turned and finished, also some good old chunky bark and nice sap wood, well done.
