this Lense have only one disadvantage..... Bokeh, 7 blades aperature...... I dont like such diamond shape bokeh.... but fortunately on photos its not such visible like on videos :-)
I just bought the alpha 6700!! Can’t wait for it be delivered. My god! Your video is amazing, that too it’s not filmed using some crazy ass expensive lens.
Enjoy!! One tip I can give you. Look into what settings to split between video and photo mode and which to retain. This way you can have nice video motion blur but when you take pictures you'll have nicer stills
Perfect videos that I was looking for. Thankyou so much for shareing it. I bought a sony 6700. but now confused whether I should go for 70-350 or tamrom 18-300. 18-300 pitcures looks quite share. what do you recommened
I don't own the Tamron 18-300 but I do own the Tamron 17-70 F2.8. In my experience the 70-350 is WAY better at catching fast moving birds compared to the Tamron. I actually avoid my tamron when shooting birds. The birds in this situation were close enough to use the 17-70 but I ended up just walking further away and using the 70-350 instead
To be honest? I don't bother with that. I worked with a mediateam of a big company and using s-log was forbidden because the grading would take too much time. I do use zebra during shooting to ensure I don't overexpose. Good luck! I love this setup it's so small and easy to bring along. I thought I would never use it again after getting the FE 200-600 but I still use this lens a lot! That speaks volumes of its quality
Are you using a tripod and if you are using a tripod no matter if it is with this current lens or the 200-600mm do you turn off ibis when on the tripod or you keep it on?
I filmed on a ball head/tripod here. For both lenses I keep it on But for photos with the 200-600 beyond 1/1200 I turn OS off on the lens because you can get some more sharpness that way in photos. For video I always have ibis and os on
Hello, I was amazed by the video. I have precisely been thinking about changing my old photographic equipment for a Sony 6700 and the Sony 70-350mm lens mainly for nature photography. Watching the video several times, the image quality I can see here is incredible. I would like to ask you a couple of questions: 1.-Is the autofocus of the 70-350mm lens fast and good enough for nature photography? 2.-Would you recommend this combination of Sony 6700 and 70-350mm for nature photography? Grateful for your response.
1. Absolutely, though in terms of reach it's not the best. In the Netherlands when I go birding (this was in a shelter) I use the Sony FE 200-600 2. Yes!! * *It's an absolutely fast autofocus lens and very sharp image quality. But also consider a lens with more reach depending on your budget, where and what you want to shoot and wether you want to carry a very heavy lens. The compactness of the 70-350 and it's reach is a very nice combo to bring along during a day in nature
I understand! Thank you very much for answering. Weight is an important issue, which is why the 70-350 seemed interesting to me. In terms of focal length, I understand that the 70-350mm would become a 105-525mm due to the cutout of the APSC sensor, or is this not true? Grateful for your responses!
@@jupitereliothgodoyvillanue2705 You're welcome :) The 70-350 is super lightweight that's why I love it. Yeah it will be a Fullframe equivalent of 525m with the difference being that a Fullframe 525mm would get more light in because of the bigger sensor. But this lens is no pushover.
No, but I did do some editing: It was a very dark day so I had to make the footage brighter and I increased the saturation a bit. But the a6700 footage looks very similar to what you see here. I had to do the most color grading for the ZV-E10 footage (thats the slowmotion jumping from the branch) because those colors were very much off and you can see the quality difference clearly.
Where the kingfisher jumps off the branch that shot is ZV-E10. The actual water diving shot is A6700. But it was a very dark day, I would love to try this again.
No with telephoto lenses I often need so much light that using an ND filter is not needed. I do own them but often use them for my F1.4 - F2.8 range lenses
hi did u use a gimbal or just IBIS Stabilization? Also in ur experience when i combine an OSS lens with sonys 6700 IBIS yields a better shot or IBIS alone is more than enough and gives the same result? That is without any active stb. thx
This is handheld footage but I was leaning on something. If you slow down handheld footage after stabilization it will also look a lot better. Most of the video is in slowmotion. I think the combination is better but the IBIS in the camera does wonders when filming with, for example a sigma lens that has no stabilization
I mostly made everything brighter because it was a very dark day but besides boosting a little bit what was already there I did not change much to the colors. I like to keep them natural :).
Wow incredible captures of the kingfisher hunting
Pretty amazing video, incredible color and beauty. Thank you.
Beautiful. Thank you for sharing this.

Sehr gut gemacht! Tolle Aufnahmen.
Beautifully captured
What a moment I got, the diving was so great

It's very beautiful! Can you tell me at what settings the video was shot with the sv-e10 camera?
1080p - 100fps (I am in PAL region) - 1/200 - iso auto if I remember correctly.
Hello. How far were you usually from the animals?
Around 10 meters, I was hiding :)
Fantastic footage! I just acquired the same setup. I'm curious which picture profile you use? (S-log, Cine, HLG)? Thanks!

On vacation I only bring the Tamron 17-70 F2.8 and the Sony 70-350
That way I can tackle anything that comes my way usually
And its super lightweight

How close were you to the Kingfisher?
about 4-5 meters
we were hiding in a special camera shelter
Sir is this camera good for short movie
Yes but also take a look at FX30 it has active cooling
Was any colour grading done? Amazing shots!
I mostly saturated the colors and made the footage a bit brighter. Not real color grading
@@WillemvanderPijl oh dang, well, well done!! Came out great either way!!
Did you have bird eye tracking on
Yes but for the diving shots I used manual focus and focus peaking to assist me
Very loveley. Why using the diving moments with the Sony ZV-E10?
