Thank you for sharing , especially the settings! Lovely footage and well put together. The clips convey what it must have been like to go to that park / location at that day & time, stopping to admire the details of activity going on. Having the a6700 myself I am still working out my approach for video. I know what I am doing with photo, but still learning how to put together a video that conveys what I am trying to capture. What perspectives do I use, how do I pan or move, when to slow things down or speed up, what considers for post, and on and on. This video gave me some good ideas on initial approaches I can use. Would love to see more from you with this body!
"Some of the worst looking 4K 120fps I’ve seen lol." But to the untrained eye which is majority of the world, it makes no difference! This was quality, and may have just helped sell me on the camera.
@@-441- the mistake i made was shooting at the 2nd base iso of 2,500. i did this because the second base iso on the fx3 is very clean, and i figured the fx30 sensor would be similar. if you stick to the first base iso it’s very usable and looks great.
@@pillowpuff Ahh I understand, especially with it being bright enough out already. I 've been doing a lot of homework and deciding on whether to pull the trigger on the a6700 for almost 7 months now. I think the more I see the more curious I get and want one in my hands.
@@pillowpuff Exactly lenses I using, plus Sigma 56mm f1,4 Great ! (Still thinking to get second body this A6700, and now using ZV-e10. This gave my a choice to quick change lenses by change a camera).
how is the overheating? i really want to upgrade from my lumix g95 to the a6700 to get more into film, but seeing a lot of people talk about the overheating issue is holding me back
i’ve had zero problems with overheating for every day stuff. it’s much better than the a7IV in terms of heat management. if you’re doing a long sit down interview, that’s another story, but honestly, my $6,500 A1 would have the same problem.
From what ive seen in other videos here on UA-cam, when shooting 4k 120 its just better to use low ISO settings, even below base ISO. I wonder if that would help?
i use Final Cut Pro and export using the high efficiency codec. they don’t specify what the bitrate is, but it’s quite high since you end up with a pretty big file.
@@mrkrindtxfilmmakergp4581 i used a v90 card but the bit rates are low you could get away with a v60, maybe even a v30. i always shoot in shutter priority.
People so much speak about the noise in 4k 120 in Sony a6700 but I see all the fine details like there was no noise. Am I alone seeing no trace of noise?
Literally as soon as I bought it, I accidentally touched the lens and the shutter closed, never to open again on sony a6700. @@JoshConnectMedia No, I touched the face of the inner cropped sensor, the one behind the shutter, thats what I meant. Big mistake. I thought it could be cleaned.
I got whiplash from that old dude in the park singing joji HAHAHA

Maybe a personal preference but I like the noise in these videos adds something to I cant quite put into words. Its just beautiful.

@@-441- So have you made your choice?
Which lens are you using to make this video footages
Beautiful! The image quality looks like the Fx30
It's the same sensor and camera essentially besides two things...1) form factor 2) no built in fan for overheating prevention
Hi, great video! Could you please mention the lenses you used? Thanks
the Sony 70-350mm f/4.5-6.3 G and 15mm f/1.4 G

what's the memory card speed needed for 120p recording
