I literally just discovered your channel through a Shorts version of this video and I've gotta say, I truly love the format of how you film and edit your cooking along with beautiful establishing shots of the city. Most cooks on UA-cam or Instagram nowadays have literally the same format where their personalities seem so disingenuous and somehow they make the content about them by filming themselves with over-exaggerated reactions to show that their cooking is sooo good.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that even those few short seconds of watching your UA-cam short, I instantly felt that you had this earnestness in how you present your content. Keep it up, Ivan. God bless you!

Thank you for the video, Ivan. I had no idea that apple crumble has the crumble on top. Thought it was the sides and the bottom that broke/crumbled down! I will have mine with cream, I am not used to vanilla custard. (It looks so sloppy to me!) Also thank you for the coffee tip. I will most certainly try it. And I will make it black and also Amsterdam style, 'koffie verkeerd' meaning coffee the wrong way. You take a big glass or big cup, at least the double size of a coffee cup. Than you pour in the black coffee and the other half hot stirred milk. Will make a soft foam on the coffee. A snif of cocoa powder or cinnamon powder to top it of. Bye bye!

Sounds delicious with cocoa powder and hot milk! I think it will be amazing with this type of coffee, it's so dark and smoky. 😁
I'm sure there are many ways of making crumble. Here in Sweden, we always put the crumble on top. That way it gets super crunchy, and it goes so well with the soft apples. 😊 And some ice cream one the side is perfect, my favorite flavor to pair it with is vanilla. 😋

Sorry that I mentioned the word 'sloppy', Ivan. I did not want to be rude. Vanilla custard is more english than Dutch. Oh, dear, aren't we chauvinistic? 🙂But the ( 'whipped') cream has more body, you know. And it is sweet. German 'Sahne' is actually also cream but without sugar. I like that too. And I noticed how nice and crunchy your apple crumble is. I am looking at the appletrees in the garden and they have quite some apples. The word 'sloppy ' reminds me of making Sloppy Joe, a american version of meat on a burger bun. Because of the temperature outdoors, I made 'sloppy' stuffed long green peppers from Morocco. I had bought a kilo of fresh groud beef at the Halal's. It was 'cooked' in the oven and pretty good. Not too heavy on the stomach. Unfortunately they do not have coffee beans at the Halal's so I will buy it elsewhere. And follow the roasting as you did. Bye, Ivan! PS I had bought some Roquette salade to go with the stuffed peppers and the Roquette was so 'hot' in my mouth. Maybe it is the season. Not normal.

Haha I understand, I didn't take it as a bad thing! 😁 Talk about the sloppy joe, I really like it. 😁 And the Swedish vanilla custard that is sold here is so creamy, I love it.
You should let me know how it goes with the coffee, would love to hear what you think about it. 😊 and I wish I had an apple tree, so many things you can make with them!

Yes, Ivan, indeed. We can do so much with apples! Today I have started harvesting plums/prunes to be ahead of the birds and the bees. I have 3 kinds of prunes; the purple ones, the yellow ones and the 'red' ones. And it is so much fruits. So I pick them and take the boxes to the two guys who run a restaurant in the next village here. I just climb over their back fence, put the boxes on their terrace tables and climb back over the fence. Than I call them to tell them what I did and they are so happy to make tartes etc; with the fruits. I am so happy that fruits from my land do not get lost. All bio. So I accepted to take an apero at their place tomorrow and I will hear what they are going to create with the fruits. And I also have lots of apples for them!!!!! Ofcourse I will let you know know about the coffee. It is just that I don't want t leave the farm to go to the big city to look for coffee beans. By the way, ALDI and LIDL sell little fruit trees every year. And I bought one and planted it in a big pot on the terrace. I pruned the tree in shape and after 2 years it was hanging full of fruits. I would suggest every one to try it. It is just a feast for the eyes.

I love plums! Especially the yellow ones. Unfortunately they are usually quite expensive here and you never know if they will be sweet or sour. 😂 Most of the times they are not good, so I don't buy them that often anymore. Would love to have some fruit trees of my own. Such a good feeling to harvest your own fruits. I'm growing some bell peppers on the balcony now and they are starting to get quite big. Looking forward to see how they turn out.
The owners of the restaurants must have been so happy to get locally grown fruits for free! That's so generous and such a good idea. 😁
