Hey there Mutton, not every truck does so we show how everyone can do it. 😎 Thank you for your comment and support, we look forward to serving you further soon!
Hey Charlie! Assuming 12v you would be running approx. 3 amps for BOTH the bed lights and the running board lights in amber. Thanks for the question, we look foward ot serving you soon!
Hi ZomRob, do you mean showing the running board lights flashing on/off as a turn signal? We have had many owners do this but we do not have a video showing it. You would need to tap into the turn signal wiring and our tech support team can assist you, they would just need your order # and email. You can reach them at www.f150leds.com/pages/contact-us. We look foward to serving you soon!
Sure thing! You can also easily use the Raptors up-fitter switches as well. Thanks for your question, please let us know how else we can help. We look foward to serving you soon!

I hope someone can help. I have the F150 XLT 2023. I have not managed to make it work. I have the ground but none of the recommendations work for the power. I want the running board led to turn on when I unlock or open the doors. I have tried the color code that the manufacturer recommends, gray with violet strip, and many other colors, and the only I get is to get them on when the truck is on and running. I have read in other forum that it should be full violet color, blue with white strip, etc. Any recommendation?
Hey Robert! Please reach out to our support team directly with your information as they can pull your trucks exact wiring diagram and make sure you have what you need to start enjoying your running board lights! @@F150LEDs Thank you. I did. They have been very proactive trying to help. I think the whole problem is that one of the led is damaged. I made one running light work well. But when I connect the second, it does not turn on, and the first one, the one that worked before, starts malfunctioning. I don’t know.
Thank you Robert, glad to hear the team has been proactive in their support! It is rare but perhaps one of the units is damaged as you suggested. Please request the support team to send a new complementary unit for you to confirm! We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience, our goal is always 110% satisfaction for our fellow Ford owners!
@@F150LEDs So, I am trying to install these leds to a Hybrid Truck. 2023 F150 Hybrid. May this be the problem? well, it seems so. As soon as I connect the two leds in parallel, they stop working. Go on and off. If I only connect one, whichever, both work (independently). Getting crazy here. I am about to connect the second led directly to the front, sending a cable to the front light as I connected the vent led.
Hey Robert, the truck being a hybrid should not be the issue. Please keep us posted! Also, if you can reach our support team directly so that we can provide photos / diagrams/ etc we can better assist. Thanks for your support & efforts! www.f150leds.com/pages/contact-us
dont the F150s have a plug under the back doors to plug these lights right into? I've seen other videos where the plugs are pre installed from factory

What is the amp draw of the lights ? I am looking at adding bed lights also that would run off the same circuit.

Power wire is not grey and violet on the 2022 for raptor
We had to use the thick black wire as ground and all purple wire for hot

Is this the same for 2022 F-150 Platinum? The thin grey/purple and black/purple aren’t working for me either.
