You see the L33 suffered from none of these issues, and was actually better at what the Is-3 does well. Therefore if the l3 was mass produced the Italians would've won the war.

If I'm not mistaken, there was a time where the IS3 exited their factory and were sent straight to another one to fix some problems. IS2 was retired later than IS3 in Soviet army.
IS-3Ms remained in reserve until the 70s, long after the IS-2 was gone

if u remember there is a variant called is-3m eith most if not all of these issues fixed
IS-3M modernization began in 1952/1953 and helped solve some of the issues but tanks was further upgraded again in the 1960s but were still receiving designation IS-3M. Some of These were likely sold to Egypt during the 60s leading up to the 6 day war

I mean the IS-3 woudve probably been like the Maus due to the weight and poor mobility as you said in the video, in other words I think most vehicles like the panther could prob out run the IS-3 and shoot in the side if didnt get penned by the 122 or just dodged it, so yeah it woudve been just like the Maus
The combats arent so close like in video games, they prob would engage in 500m+ fights or in close combat urban environments, the panthers had close to no chance killing the is3, but soviets didn’t plan it well and they didnt give the is3 the potential it deserved

I got 11 kills on an IS3 before. This thing is a monster in down tier. Unfotunately uptier or just mid 7.7 makes this tank easy target like a sitting duck. Well to be fair, armors in that tier and above is almost non existent. 😂
