God, if Megatron had been the “Last Knight”, or simply was the main bot aside from Optimus… Like, just imagine if Megatron was now so war weary, that he got to the point where he actively began working with the humans, or we saw how Quintessa got into his mind about saving Cybertron and restoring it. That would’ve tied beautifully together with his established weariness in Dark of the Moon. Imagine seeing Megatron slowly figure out over the course of TLK that Quintessa was not whom she claimed to be, and that she was indeed the, “Great Deceiver”, and the rage and betrayal that he would feel towards her, and himself, the mighty Megatron, for foolishly buying into her lies. Imagine the surprise on Megatron’s face from seeing Optimus again for the first time in years, and that his sworn enemy and once brother-in-arms was now a puppet for Quintessa. Imagine Megatron trying and failing to snap Prime out of his mind control, calling him weak for ever letting himself be controlled, but having to resort to a full fledged fight against his arch nemesis to get HIM to chill out (the irony). Imagine Optimus returning to his old self, and seeing that Megatron genuinely tried to save him and had also been under Quintessa’s heel, all to simply save their planet. Imagine them teaming up, Optimus, being the kind and gentle soul that he is, reconciling with Megs, at least a little bit, and putting their history behind them for one final mission, one last fight that they would face together as allies, not as enemies. With the Autobots, Megatron’s remaining Decepticons, the Knights, and the humans, Optimus and Megatron would bring the fight to Quintessa, stop her from awakening Unicron, and destroy her to restore Cybertron. In the end, Megatron, with an open and genuine invitation from Prime, would go with him and the rest of the Cybertronians back home to start work in slowly restoring their home world, and forging a new future for Cybertron, a new beginning. Several TRF soldiers scurry to avoid being trampled by the Autobot's massive metal feet. Now certain that something is amiss, Bumblebee moves to intercept his leader. But before the Autobot scout can so much as take a single step, Optimus instantly turns towards Bumblebee, drawing a blaster and pointing it squarely between his eyes. "Take one more step, and you'll lose more than just your voice" The room falls silent. Bumblebee notices the Prime's scarred face and sinister purple eyes. "Prime, what are you doing?" Cade says. Optimus glances down at the human, the barrel of his blaster still inches from Bumblebee's brow. "It's me, Cade. We fought together!" An almighty crash is heard as Optimus slams his fist on the ground in front of Cade. Both he and Vivian nearly lose their footing from the weight of the impact. "I fight for my own kind! I think the film had huge potential and i dont hate it as much as i dislike rise of the beasts or bee movie. The thing that ruined TLK for me is using way too much human history for the origins or transformers as knights and for some reason they overused england too which is not that great compared to the other films who were mostly US you know. But i still wish we got TF6 which couldve explained more about TLK and maybe make the people understand that film more. Regarding Nemesis prime i felt like his part of the story was a whole another thing, first you got the ancient england transformers knights and then you got quintessa which dont match that much to a whole story. I don't know what happened but it feels like 2 different people made a story and both got mixed.
How did connecting human history and TF history which has been a staple of the franchise since day 1 ruined the film for you? Unless you're reffering to said history contradicting what the previous films established then why does it matter if human history had cybertronians involved. Plus...does it matter if said history is in the US or not? US isn't the only country the TF should be connected to. Odds are the sequel to tf5 probably would of ignored what tf5 established like the other films did to each other. And the reason why tf5 felt like different stories mixed together is because it was different stories mixed together. In the 2015 TF writer's room, different stories were written. 4 of which came closest to being a reality, tf4 sequel, bumblebee film, cybertronian knights and ww2 prequel story. Now try guessing what happened to the 3 other films (excluding bumblebee)....all 3 films were mashed into 1 and boom, tf5 was born. So instead of going for the original pitch for tf4's sequel, they mashed elements of 2 completely different TF stories with said sequel
@@johnpattison6882 to be fair...I see where you're coming from but the slight difference between cade stopping the blade and Noah pulling optimus is that cade stops said blade with ZERO difficulty. It was primal who pulled optimus forward all the way. Both ideas are similar in their execution but at least one has said human struggling to perform such a impossible feat of strength.
More like transformers: the last straw
W vid
Lmao your cat
Man of Steel💀
Huh isnt the rotb different since bro is legit wearing cybertronian tech? Like how said the only way it could work? 💀
Excalibur is cybertronian tech in the TLK so there is no difference
@@johnpattison6882 to be fair...I see where you're coming from but the slight difference between cade stopping the blade and Noah pulling optimus is that cade stops said blade with ZERO difficulty. He doesn't stumble, fall over, nothing. Meanwhile Noah at first is pulling prime back but prime still nearly gets sucks into the black hole regardless. It was primal who pulled optimus forward all the way.
Both ideas are similar in their execution but at least one has said human struggling to perform such a impossible feat of strength. The other you may as well say is a Mary Sue moment.
#ReleaseTheBayCut
the theatrical cut is the bay cut
DCEU movie review? Or just man of steel?
Man of Steel
Batman v Superman
Zack Snyder’s Justice League
@@johnpattison6882 that’s amazing, it would be kinda cool to see some of the other movies in this verse reviewed, you give a very honest breakdown, however I do understand a LOT of the Dceu films are just not good movies what so ever
The first three Transformers were great but the last two were terrible. Shia kept the franchise together.
Don't get me wrong but a friend of mine said the same thing
Shia didn't keep the franchise, bay just didn't care anymore after tf3.
Lol what Shia kept it together? The transformers are why we watched the movies. All he did was have an eye candy love interest and scream a lot. I really didn't like the humans in these movies in general.
Age of Extinction was ok
