I love how no matter how many times he's instructed us to do something (cutting vegetables, adding spices, applying oil, etc.) he tells us the exact same thing he's told us before. He doesn't just assume we know from his previous instructions and makes sure to tell us exactly how to do it every single time he does something. That's what makes him such a great teacher and instructor, he makes sure it's tattooed in our brain so we never second-guess ourselves.

It doesn't really matter , if you crack it too hard or sloppily your getting egg shells. If you've done it a million times you're probably not . Plain and simple !

Thank you so much! She's from Italy, and LOVES steak. That's one thing she loves about America: Steak w/ eggs in the morning and beer at night. Let me tell ya, I don't eat steak (due to medical reasons), but this is the most tempting steak video I've ever seen. Chef Ramsey, you're awesome. Thank you and take care. Can't wait for my wife to try this. Cheers.

hahaha, saturated fats have been just concluded in an NIH study of a meta-analysis of other studies showing the link between saturated fat intake and CVD/heart disease to be false and that there is limited evidence to support limiting of such foods, they are lying to you about dietary cholesterol too and steak is probably the most nutrient-dense food you'll ever seen (search up the vitamins, minerals, and nutrients in it, and it's got virtually the most bioavailability of any foods up there at with eggs). They are lying about seed oils being good for you! I feel bad because lots of nutritional advice can be censored here on UA-cam, I rarely use this app but I use twitter for uncensored key information. Wake up to the system, they are lying, literally Fox News said to eat prunes and oranges for diabetes when that is probably one of the worst foods and they recommended tofu, barley, etc. Hence, they quite literally are encouraging snacking by recommending a bunch of snack food like tofu instead of recipes for whole meals which snacking is not good for diabetics. Yeah, you're not going to eat tofu, prunes, oranges, and barely with all the carbs and lots of sugars (especially in prunes and oranges) for managing diabetes. They are lying, why didn't they recommend eggs when it's extremely nutrient-rich and has more bioavailability? Trying to brainwash everyone to eating the worst gassy foods like beans that are not designed for the human body? Do your own research, Dr. Eric Berg is one of the only doctors on here I trust. Please understand mainstream nutrition is capable of lying for profits. Have a good day.

    1:24 Steak goes in
    1:47 Onions go in
    2:04 Garlic goes in
    2:34 Butter goes in
3:07 Steak is turned (after 1 minute and 43 seconds, Gordon always says "about 2 minutes")
    3:20 Eggs go in
3:30 Butter goes in the egg pan, seasoning follows within seconds
3:43 Scallions go in the egg pan
4:48 Lime juice on the steak (still in the pan)
5:06 Steak comes out (after 1 minute and 59 seconds)
So: 2 minutes each side for the steak in a very hot pan

I don't think very many people understand the blinding speed it takes to be a restuarant chef.
I was okay at it but returned to the family backup trade of machine and welding. It's still hot as Hell but much less stressful IMO.
I only cook for fun on a weekend and often take all day doing it with insanely expensive ingredients.
That's a Sunday activity my wife and I share and can afford to splurge a bit on.
Thankfully my wife is an exceptionally *quick and low budget* cook during the week.
It really is remarkable how well she does.
I would like to punch in the face whoever came up with the "Make me a Sandwich woman" BS.🤨
My wife makes the best sandwiches on the planet.🤤
