This was a success on two levels. 1. I've never successfully made a layered cocktail that worked before, this one was the first! 2. I got both me father AND me brother to try it. Me brother is usually quite reserved about what cocktails he drunks but this one got his attention and he liked it very much! Thanks so much for sharing this recipe. I will hopefully try it with Blue Curacao some time soon.
Hey David, i really love this video format, always makes me smile and it makes my day way better than it was before! Need to try this nice layered Cocktail oc! Thank you so much for sharing David! Cheers! 😆😉☺❤🍊🍋🧊🍹
Hi, my name is Ben and I’m from australia( Melbourne ) and have been watching ur channel for a while now and find ur videos entertaining and engaging. Over the past six months I have done a deep dive into everything cocktails and cocktail ingredients. I understand that u probably get requests all the time so I am not asking for anything on your channel HOWEVER , I have created a cocktail and would love ur feedback if u could try it in ur spare time. I call it the BEE MAJOR it is 45ml Cognac,22.5 ml lime juice 22.5 ml Mr Black, 30 ml of Honey Syrup and 2 dash’s Angostura bitters. Served in a Coup. ( or however u like as your making the drink.) Thanks for taking the time to read my message and whatever happens I will continue to support ur channel. Have a great Morning, noon or night.
Hi Ben, I will take a look and see how it turns out. As I cannot get Mr. Black what do you siggest as a replacement? Also is this shaken and fine strained? David.
This is shaken and fine/ double strained. Not sure what you guys have in Canada but definitely a coffee liqueur that is not too sweet. Thank you for your reply, I hope u like the drink. I also think the bloopers add to the video, shows even more of your personality.
I’ve never seen bitters that had that much color to them. Gorgeous color and the perfect way to kick off a Friday. Well done Dave!
Thanks so much 😊

That is greatr news. I happy you got your layering to work and that everyone liked it.
Wow! This is probably the best looking layered drink I've ever seen... and as you drink it you can look forward to a lot of empress gin at the end.
Thank you very much Bonnie. It did turn out good.

Great looking drink. Love the colors. Have a great weekend. I might be on Discord.
Thanks! You too!
The drink looks good, and nice use of Empress for the presentation. Just a heads up, there's a big blank space before the recipe card.
Thank you. I will see if there is a way to fix it.
That's so eye-catching! If only I was a gin lover!
Hmmm..... we will need to work on that :)
Дуже цікавий коктейль 👍
Щиро дякую, це так само смачно, як і виглядає.
that looks like a great drink.
I think will like this for sure
Wow very stunning cocktail....❤
Thanks a lot 😊
What would you consider a rich syrup, if I don't make my own?
Dry Cur is hard to find in my area
That is a good question. I know that Monin sells one. Probably the Monin Pure Cane Syrup. amzn.to/3PQdYoq
