When this show ended my dad and a friend got wind of the show throwing away all the props from the show , today i have both bowling balls from artie and one from pete and the bike that flew threw the intro !!!!!
Seriously? is there any way you can show us? through Instagram or something?
Whaaat!!
I would like to see them too!
seems like a weird thing to lie about over the internet, so that's very cool and I envy that a bit! neat!
@@spaceamundo9655 yeah i can post them follow me in instagram londonjames98
This show was epic, but somber in a way. Some of those episodes kicked you right in the feels and left with a blissful sadness.
I have props from the show my dad picked up from a dumpster back in the 90s or 80s
Try watching it now they hit even harder
There was something about that show that hit you. It made me feel like a teenager, but also made me realize how fleeting those carefree youthful moments were.
I’ll never forget the episode when they had the search for Mr Tasty in the photobooth
Nickeloedon shows were always kind of surreal
I just want to say thank you guys so much for making one of the greatest shows of all time. It was so ahead of its time and so edgy and did things that could never be done on television today. I was abused as a child and had a lot of torment dealing with my father but when that block of Nickelodeon shows came on and I heard that Pete and Pete song it all went away. I'm 39 years old now I was born in 1983 and I'm rewatching all the old shows including Pete and Pete. Tears come to my eyes because the tones in the theme song alone are full of joy and positivity and that song is embedded in my head to where every time I hear it I know that stimulation is on its way. I truly love you guys and I hope that somehow you get this message. Much love from Jesse in Dayton Ohio.
All of this that you said is me right now. I'm 37, and also dealt with abuse as a child. And yes, I miss those old 90s shows. Everything youre describing is how I feel now too. Everything is so nostalgic. The soumds and the music. Thank you for sharing your story man, hope youre doing well!
@jimbojankerson5610
A Truly Amazing show with timeless characters they just don’t make them that anymore 😢 Wishing you all the best you deserve it!
Pete and Pete followed by Ren and Stimpy was the best hour of programming of my childhood.
Hear, HEAR!
Yes
I love this show. Back when kids shows were allowed to be weird, sometimes scary, and awkward just like that part of our lives.
Made in Canada, of course. All the best Nick shows were from Canada.
@@SgtSega Pete and Pete was filmed in Northern New Jersey
@@SgtSega umm Pete and Pete was NOT made in Canada.. It was literally filmed on my block in Jersey...
@@SgtSega Another Canadian Nick show: Are You Afraid of the Dark? 😁
I was born in 86 & as a kid I remember a lot of cool tv shows from the 90's are you afraid of the dark ,rocko ,rugrats,Pete & Pete , wild & crazy kids ,salute your shorts , hey dude , Clarissa explains it all, all that , kenan & Kel just to name a few sigh I miss them times oh & ren & stimpy lol
+cordy torres Me too, 1985, but Pete and Pete are the best looking ones to this day. I like how they both look like real people and are just... cool dudes. Big Pete reminds me of my friend too. That is a bomb VNeck huh? heh
+cordy torres Yes!
Yeah haha :) what shows do you remember?
+cordy torres i was born in 91 and watched all those same shows! what a time it was to be alive! good time good times
Punky brewster?
I still watch this show to this day. It was so thoughtful, the them song still brings me back to being 10 years old watching this after a day on the lake.
7 years ago? How did I miss this? Freakin Hilarious!
Same here man! I can't believe I've never seen this!
@@DD-ix3bm It got me watching Pete and Pete on YT too. I forgot what a well thought out and interesting show this was.
This show shaped my childhood. Will never forget you Artie
What happend to Artie ???
Artie was meant to be a s_x offender.
@@avamelia7410 nothing. From what I can tell, he's still alive and well.
@@ry.the.stunnerBecause he has to let go of Little Pete in an episode
Coming up on 30 years soon. This show is one of the unsung heroes of my childhood and one of the chief inspirations for my eccentric, surreal films and shorts I make... the style, the characters, the vibe, the balance between "down to earth" stuff and "cartoony surrealism" was perfect and unparalleled! :D
Danny Tamberelli who played Little Pete played Jimmy De Santa who is the son of Michael De Santa on GTA V
As soon as he started talking, all I heard was jimmy and was thinking if he had that big brick of pot on him
Wow i thought Jimmy De Santa seemed oddly familiar in the game!
Got that same feeling when watching the 2021 movie "Copshop" with Gerard Butler and Frank Grillo.
Then i checked up and saw it was Toby Huss (Artie) - he played a funny sadistic hitman in the movie.
@@scroopynooperz9051 Toby Huss was also in Halt and Catch Fire a fucking awesome show with Lee Pace. also toby was in brooklyn nine nine when jake went to jail.
I had the honor and pleasure of working with one of the guys from the band that did the music for this amazing show! When he found out I was a fangirl it totally embarrassed him (lol I guess I was the only one at the time "old enough" to remember this brilliant show) but he was one of the sweetest people I've ever met in my life and I would tell him every time I got the chance how much this show impacted me as a kid in the most positive way. Love to you all.
Endless Mike hasn't aged a day
That's because he's endless.
bagelbruin lmfao
yea he is hahahaha
this post contains win
Imagine we're talking about the same guy who did band of brothers years later... Its like weird to think i knew him before (and still) as endless mike
The most enduring things from this show for me were Mom's metal plate and the theme song. Seriously, I loved this show. And I was like 15 when it was on TV.
Wow this is so surreal watching this shows characters come together 21+ years later!
This makes me weep for the past. We will always have the 90s. We all were a team. Never forget, my friends. Never forget.
Wow...this was my favorite show growing up...now I feel REALLY old.
We are lol.
If you felt old then..imagine how you feel now since 10 years passed since this uploaded 😂. 90s kids here btw.
Mark Mulcahy at the bar, dude was in Polaris! Awesome
And Don’t forget his stellar “Magnetic Fields” music! (Who else still has the Polaris cereal cassette?)
Mark Mulcahy is a genius. Who is seated with him though? Anybody know?
Big Pete looks and sounds the same after all these years.
Still my favorite show ever.
"What, you didn't know that?? Excellente!!!"
This made my day. I was trying to find old clips from the show and stumbled upon this gem.
Pete and Pete was just a David Lynch show for kids
The end of this video looks just like the original episodes where everyone got together or solve any problem while just walking and hugging with the polaris themes always playing...priceless!!
Damn I miss this show. I used to pretend little Pete was my imaginary friend. I was a lonely kid but had great shows like this.
i loved Endless Mike. make more pete and pete ones... please
Sooo much nostalgia it almost makes you cry
Pete and Pete made the world look exciting and like a game to me as a kid..thank you guys
my life is more complete then it was 5 minutes and 30 seconds ago. :)
and yet...now I want more ELLEN :)
im a latin dude and pete and pete is also great for my culture, he faced the same issues we faced back in the 90s im sure many forgot about him but for us the diferent ones he is our hero and the tv show was a masterpiece.
Just thought about this show first time in many years. This is pure gold I love it!
We went to a comedy club in 2000 for my High School prom and Danny Tamberelli was there. All us 90's teens were super excited to see someone we grew up watching on Snick.
3:21 - *_They're trying not to laugh while ad-libbing, that's hilarious_*
The Adventures of Pete & Pete was in my opinion, a blend of 'My So Called Life, meets Monty Pythons Flying Circus meets a perfect soundtrack by a super group whose songs stand up to any acoustic material of The Rolling Sones up till Brian Jones died.'
rav how are they a super group? A super group is a band that forms from other amazing bands.
Best kids show of all time. Nothing else comes close.
Mark Mulcahy ... Most underrated artist ever.. Loving all this. . except no Ellen!!
Ellen oughtta been there, too!
She was there. The lady at the beginning who took a selfie with Mike Marona/Big Pete.
That is in fact not ellen.
@@ZenShroud1 That is not Ellen. Ellen's real name is Allison Fanelli. She is not credited on the original Funny or Die video linked in the description.
Ellen was at the bar at the end ;)
They should bring The Adventures of Pete & Pete back as adults now. I see as something like It’s Always Sunny but way more weird, and it has good music.
I could totally hear Dennis calling himself the v-neck king of america
@@ronvlaarsvar6867Maybe the gang grew up on Pete and Pete
This is a dream come true man. This show help me grow up as years went on.The greatest nick show of all time.
I love this show. It's a 90s overload
oh man that was incredible! I loved watching the show when I was growing up. great memories.
Holy shit the nostalgia! I was quite young when I saw this show but there was such a surreal nature to it that it was hard to ever forget. My mind is blown little Pete is Jimmy in GTA. That voice was driving me nuts in this till I googled it.
I'm 32 now and myself and many of my friends have the two DVD's and watch them once in a while to bring it back. As a young boy with 3 brothers and lots of neighborhood kids around, we actually played outside 75%+ of the time. P&P related to our adventures that we invented in order to have fun.
Dustin Jones I bet that neighborhood from the show is totally garbage now lol
@@hugh2hoob668 Are talking about Pete and Pete
the music makes me go back in time to a way way better time when I was innocent and had no clue how cold and hard of a world that this is. Ahh nostalgia. Nicolodeon was the shit!
Dude same. I wish it cold stay the 90s forever. No one grows old, things are inexpensive, and the only rule was to be home before dark.
Pete and Pete was great! We have never had a show like it since.
Mom's plate. 🤣
Malcolm In The Middle
WAIT that guy is Artie!? woooow never knew that saw him on shows but never recognized em
F hilarious!! There should be a Danny and Mike show just like this, with character appearances from Pete and Pete. Something like Cobra Kai! That would be so dope😅🔥
This is the best thing that funny or die have ever done.
Omg this is awesome :D brought back lots of memories This "new" version needs to become a thing!!
Awesome! When I was going up I always wanted an "orange Lazarus"
Endless Mike was amazing in Band of Brothers
one of my favourite shows growing up! Every saturday, nickelodeon! respect.
9 years ago? Wait, what the fu**, how could I miss this…
No idea how I missed this one. That was awesome!
This is awesome! haha
I grew up watching this show as a young-in .... didn't we all?
PLEASE make more of these! Just work down the list! 90's Nick shows were AWESOME!
I’m just seeing this now and this is the greatest thing I’ve ever seen❤
I thought endless mike was played by Sam rockwell since I was like 9 years old until watching this 30 years later
Anybody else notice the singer of the theme song sitting at the bar with the newspaper?
Mark Mulcahy!
Best show ever made growing up. The cool thing is being grown up now we still get Danny and Mike IRL.
WHAT no Michelle Trachtenburg???... i miss NONA
Thank you for this
Probably the most unexpected reunions I've ever seen was this show
Even the reunion was done in a weird unusual way just like the show itself which only they can get away with it and pull it off 😂.
Big Pte giving of serious Dennis from Always Sunny vibes. Can totally hear him calling himself the V-neck king of America
This is the short they made as a special for the fans. It's incredible to see that.
oh cool, I love that they got the dad from the show to play little Pete!
Haha he does look like the dad now haha
The Adventures of Pete and Pete was my show. I loved Farwell My Little Viking 2 part episode. And the episode Pinned was great!
Look at Artie (the strongest man in the world)!! Glad he held up well
Being a Bronx boy since 1981, remembering when I had to visit my grandparents in Reading, PA to watch Nickelodeon... this early 90's show was a Godsend for kids and teenagers! My pre-9/11 world was a nice era of escapism with tinges of life lessons with shows like PETE AND PETE to help me along the way. The Mr. Tastey episode always gets me. Looking back, I forgot what a time capsule that series became. When that ice cream man left the neighborhood, I recall a shot of one of the kids holding a photo of him with The Twin Towers behind him. Also forgot they filmed the series in and around East Orange, New Jersey. Always got a kick out of some Tri-State references scattered throughout the series. The occasional baby blue New Jersey license plate showing up on screen. The 'alien' kid having his home neighborhood written down as Whitestone, NY (that's Queens for the uninitiated). The NJ public schools that doubled for Pete and Pete's Junior High School. All praise be to Krebstar....🇵🇷🇺🇸😎
Thanks to this show I had the most awesome childhood
20th anniversary, 10 years ago! Woe
Can you believe Artie played Kahn on King of the Hill? Blew my mind when I heard.
i wish they made more of this
man it feels like It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia but nostalgic
I know I got almost a Dennis vibe from big Pete
@@Mitchman2242Danny and Mike should star in Season 17 that would be great
Haha! I’m so happy I found this sh$t! These guys still get me. I miss them a lot, and I feel like I’m the only one who knows the show!
*Stacks shot glasses* I DID IT. 😊😂😂this was hilarious.oh I miss the 90s. Pete&pete💜
Toby Huss is bad ass. He voiced Kahn and a few others in King of the Hill and was a few different characters in Reno 911.
Where's Michael Stipe as Captain Scrummy? You sure do look like a bonafied Sludgsicle man!!!!!!!!!
I needed this closure
I was 5 when this show came out. Crazy to see this now. Crazy to think that I knew iggy pop before I knew who iggy pop was …..😂😂😂 that’s a good quote
It’s so cute that lil Pete is quite literally the same
The adventures of pete and pete, im an aussie and i watched it all the time. it was on foxtel.
This is amazing.
I’m 8 years too late on this masterpiece! I loved the show when I was like 10 years old. Seeing people return from that show for this skit was amazing. Fk…. I miss the 90’s. Btw I’m pretty buzzed off of finding 15+old vodka&whisky I found in my grandparents basement. And on top of that watching this. I’m feeling pretty good rn. If you’re reading this have an awesome life! And I wish you the best. Fk… I just want to party with all you awesome people. Much love! ❤️
Love that intro!
How did I miss THIS??? So good
omg those blue tornados look so good!!
This made my morning.
this was way ahead of its time.
In fairness, Mike was in Band of Brothers and Transformers.
This was all around awesome
I'd love to see a reunion movie, You could have them go on some mission to scatter their parent's ashes in different parts of town . All the while the craziness of their hometown is still alive and well. Hey Nickelodeon, call me
This was hands down the best show ever and was a sad day it got canned
And we still have no official word on that ONE LINE from the theme.
"Can you settle to shoot me?"?
Hey Sandy
Loved this show! It was hip & funny & weird! I lived in Hollywood for a while and went to a bar called the Coach & Horses off Sunset one night, probly in '95? and saw Toby Huss playing pool and I said "hey, it's Artie the strongest man in the world" and he stopped and said "holy shit, ive never been called out on that before" I'd met and seen tons of actors living in LA over the years but that one was pretty cool.
This was weird and a good way just like the show was
I've never been so glad to click on someones youtube channel. Thanks for being you. Careful guys, don't click to fast, dangerous curves ahead.
Ahh one of my favs as a kid, classic!
I remember the 1 minute skits between commercials in 1989.
SublimeNation yesssss. The one with little Pete burping all the time at the dinner table was my fave :D
InflatablePlane Artie, the strongest man in the world.
I remember non-sequiturs in 1803.
I remember those indefinitely, as a Nickelodeon kid of the 80s, I remember those very well.
Artie, Khan, Cotton Hill, the man is a national treasure
I can die happy after watching this.
this was way funnier than I was expecting it to be
No way.. Endless Mike was Lutz in Band of Brothers! Why the fuck am I only realising that now??
