Yes it does
At 7:46 you said "... and let the private keys leave the device". The private keys don't leave the device on any hardware wallet (unless you use Ledger Recover)!
To clarify, the private keys are sent off the device in a transaction that is broadcasted to the blockchain. Storage wise, you're right, they never leave the device until you sign it.
Private key and seed phrase (backup 12 or 24/25 words) are not the same. Every crypto address have different private key. With same seed phrase you can create different addresses with different private keys. When you sign transaction your crypto hardware wallet will send the private key, not the seed phrase. Exception is only if you want to create the backup using Ledger recovery service. If you want to be more safe I recommend to use passphrase (the 25th word(s)). 25th word is not included in recovery service.

@@cryptorenegadeno, only the signed file is sent off the device. The private keys never leave the hardware wallet. Else the whole hardware wallet design wouldnt make sense. Shameful that you dont understand shit still
