This time, Axel Foley returns after Captain Bogomil was almost assassinated during a shooting and must now investigate a series of robberies they like to call the “Alphabet Crimes”.

They just don't make movies like this anymore. Eddie Murphy is an absolute legend and the first two Beverly Hills Cop movies are just spectacular.

Let me get this straight. In a span of 10 seconds, Rosewood was able to run down the street, climb into the cement mixer (provided that the driver's side door was left unlocked), start it up (provided that the keys were left in the ignition), put it into gear (provided that he had prior knowledge and experience of driving a standard-shift truck with air-brakes), and drive back up the street to pick up Axel. Rosewood is not just a cop. He's a SUPER cop. And all that's missing from him is a cape!
And for the record, that SUPER cop story, it was working.

To be fair, trucks like that are almost always unlocked with the keys in the ignition when they’re at a job site. Maybe rosewood knew that and chose the truck for that reason.
I love that Rosewood character. In the first BHcops movie, he started off as a kinda' nerd, but soon showed his true colors and went full blast in BHcopsII. Again, great acting, great storyline - love the way his character evolved!!

Always loved the Beverly Hills Cops movies. So much action, great storyline and acting...music just fit into the adventure. Ohhh those were the good ol' days in the 1980's, even tho I'm a fan of film noir from the late 20's - early 50's.

There's a goof I haven't ever noticed till now. at 0:27 you see Axel ready to jump and his pistol is tucked in back but at 0:28 when he jumped on you can see it fall, at 0;29 you can see it laying in the street but when you get to 2:43 you can see he has the same pistol he used to shoot the alarm out and the one that fell when he jumped in the truck.

It’s no wonder I’ve never seen this movie, even as an 80’s kid. This movie looks like hot, corny garbage. There’s a lot of 80’s stuff that is legendary. But not this…
I'm from the 90s and I disagree. BHC 2 is not as good as BHC 1 but it's still a fun and hilarious sequel.
