Pay or get evicted. It’s simple. Try this at a leasing office, they will evict you extremely fast and their in-house attorney will always win. There’s contracts people sign. Follow them.
Correct until a Federal Rent Moratorium comes along, which takes precedence over all state and county laws, and then these corporate lawyers working for these corporate management companies are forced in to following these federal laws. Their hands were tied
You shouldn’t have to evict anybody. If they don’t pay their rent the police should remove them. It should be considered theft. You shouldn’t have to hire an attorney to get them out. That’s why we have professional renters who never pay rent and move from place to place.
We do live in the United States of America, not Russia, and there are laws protecting the landlord and laws protecting the tenant. There is a venue called Landlord Tenant court where issues like this are sorted out by a judge.

Nope it is illegal for any property owner or landlord to shut off any utility under any circumstance unless the conveyance is unoccupied.. if people are living in the home no landlord has the authority to shut off your utilities it is against Florida law
Illegal. Yes you need to pay your rent. But running hot and cold water, and heat are mandatory in a rental. The landlord should be doing her due diligence and getting the eviction process going. Not turning off water. Ghetto.
It probably good idea if people would start to try and buy a home, instead of renting. Because as time goes by,. rent in the end only makes a person homeless, with endings out living on the outside.
Not everyone has the money to purchase their own home or condo especially if they are living on a fixed income which is most definitely the case with this gentleman who had his water illegally turned off.
