I've been looking into a silken or windsprite for my next dog. Do you think Flynn a d Cricket's biddability/trainability is typical of the breed? I love just about everything about them but I'm worried they won't be up for training for agility or obedience, but Flynn is rocking it! Thanks for the advice!
I do. In fact, there are individuals more biddable and certainly more food motivated than Cricket and Flynn. Definitely let the breeder know what you're planning for the pup so they can match you with the right temperament. If you're looking for a serious, nationals-level partner, you'd be better off with a herding breed. But I do think silkens can be great little sport dogs with time, patience, and a sense of humor. :)
As the Zohan would say, "Silken SMOOOOTH"😅😅❤ really great dog, can I get one in Alberta Canada?
