    im very new to karting, i’ve only raced 5 times but it has came very naturally and im very thankful, the last 3 races i’ve got 3rd in, and the last race i went to was at a full sized car track, and you had to draft if you wanted to keep up at all. without drafting in lo206 me and other were running about a 1:54-1:57 but with drafting we were running about a 1:46-1:47 it was insane the amount of difference, also great video and thanks for all the tips

    Great video, just got into LO206 Karting, and got into car content creation on my channel, and one thing I recommend if you decide to make more tip videos like this one, maybe put timestamps if possible. Just a recommendation, not that I really need it but someone else might be looking for one specific thing to improve on and if you put a timestamp they could just skip to it. Like I said though, great video, and you don’t have follow my recommendation, just giving a little advice.😊

    I’ve been looking at getting into racing and I’ve heard this is a good entry point after rental karting. Was just wondering if it’s a good starter kart or not

    This is my first season doing lo206 and I race at at pgp and sima. How does putting the piston at the top of the cylinder reduce valve wear? And are you supposed to put the cylinder in that position every time you store the kart?

    • @kierantr5
      @kierantr5  5 місяців тому +4

      Its good practice to do it everytime you pull off track when the engine is hot, as long as you do this you shouldnt have to do it an extra time before you store it. It reduces wear on the valves because the valve springs arent compressed since the valves are in the closed postion in tdc
