Yeah, he probably still pays 2050$ due to he rent at the lowest price during Covid and BC's renting increasing policy(no more than 2% increasing year to year). Vancouver is expensive and the lowest afforddable city in north america.

Awesome video! Love this apartment tours in Vancouver types of video. The apartment is really nice, especially for downtown. In the middle of the video I realized I already watched this apartment tour on Stephen's channel about 6 months ago haha. But it was still a really great watch!

With the housing crisis. BC should give free lands to migrants so they can buy the 20k elon musk houses. Its silly to rent for 2k when your salary reaches 2.5k.

I'm curious to know if I were to close on a new property in say April 1st 2022, when will be the last day I should sell the existing primary residence in order to avoid capital gains taxes on the sale?
