Curious as to what kind of hook you are using in this video. It looks longer than most crochet hooks but it has a thumb rest that I’ve never seen in a Tunisian crochet hook.. any help with this comment is most appreciated… TIA….♥️
It’s just a double-ended hook I had on hand that was the size I wanted. They may look long due to the size of the sample, but the are actually shorter than regular hooks.
There actually are hooks that are long enough for blankets. They are called Tunisian Afghan Hooks. They look like a regular hook, but have a long cord attached at the end. The size of your blanket would determine how long a chord you would need, but in general, a standard 40 in cord is long enough to crochet a king size blanket. I have several Tunisian crochet blanket tutorials, you can check them out of you’re still curious.
Your tutorial are the best I've seen. And so easy. Thank you !!
That’s very kind of you to say, thank you so much! 😊
What a fun stitch to make! Thank you!

every time i see this tunisian method of crochet it makes me wonder how someone would do a blanket when there's no hook long enough for that lol
