That is a great question and honestly I don’t know the answer to this. We have one and could test that but it may be a few weeks before we can do that. I’ll comment back here if we happen to get that test done.
No. I had mine on last year and had a deer walk on by without a care in the world. It even came from the direction the light would have been facing if you were able to see it from outside of the blind. Heaters are safe.
Honestly, I've not used this one in the winter yet as we just got it. I saw your post on our other channel and I'm hoping jason weighs in as he hunted the 150 last year during the winter... we aren't far from you so our temps are similar. I can say that hte 150 does block the wind but you will just need to make sure its staked down well and that you keep your windows minimally opened. I think the buddy heater should work well... I'm not sure on this 180 how much wind comes through the see through part... Sadly it will be a week past your opening gun season before I get to test it out and tell you... - josh
Thank you for that info... not too heavy but much better if you can set up ahead of your hunt and brush in... I've also found that taking these things down or even setting up in the dark is a nightmare so plan ahead... :-)
It is possibly to turn it inside out and very challenging to get it back the right way. Jason did that with his Rhino 150. The hubs system can be very frustrating

Is it made for cold weather… hunting in West Virginia so it gets in the 20s.

First thing I noticed is it’s shiny
Hasn’t been an issue so far. Plus I’m sure it will dull with time.
