That's kind of why I bought it in the beginning too ha. I tried the Primos Surroundview a couple years ago and ended up not liking it.This one I am much more pleased with.
question. Why don't they make a blind that actually is the same color of the vegetation you are putting it. All blinds I have had don't blend into the surroundings AT ALL.
I've only used it during turkey season. However, there were a couple of exceptionally cold mornings. Hard to give a completely accurate answer since I haven't used it much for cold season deer hunting yet but I'd venture to guess it lets out more heat than a normal blind.
Thanks for watching and for the kind words! I'm not an expert by any means, but I like sharing my experience about products I've used, especially if it's been a positive one.
That is a great way to describe it. it's definitely a little darker during those first/last few minutes of legal time where it's not quite light but you can still see. But I usually have the windows open some to look out of.
Hi I'm an arch student, so for my current project I wanna know what kinda materials are used to build this rhino 180. Like what exact name for the cover that has been used here and all. BTW Thank you :-) for the great review
I am considering one, but looking out form inside reminds me of a regular blind with the netting you can shoot through, looking through that gives me a headache, especially when trying to focus on something long distance in the woods...given the much larger area it might not be too bad...what do you think?
That's a great question. Honestly I sat in it a lot this past season and I didn't have that issue. I kept the front window open to look out of and shoot out of the whole time but when animals came in I just sunk back into my chair to stay out of sight completely. Then it was nice I could still keep an eye on the turkeys and deer without being seen at all. But we tested it afterwards and it turns out it doesn't really matter because even at 5 to 10 yards with the window open my dad couldn't see me inside at all since it was completely blacked out. All comes down to personal preference of course but I think you will enjoy it.
@@MahoneyOutdoors appreciate the response, that is a good idea to shrink down out of the window and you can still see them and pop up for a shot when they aren't looking...I might give it a try, good luck this year...thanks for the video.
@@jheckert1 absolutely, and appreciate you watching. Good luck to you as well! If you try it out you'll have to report back and let us know how it worked out for you!
I’ve never hunted out of a hub style blind, does it make your shooting window feel small or like you have a shooting blind spot? Also, how big would you say the opening is with the window all the way open?
Does it let the wind blow through more than a regular blind? Cold windy days are the only thing I'm skeptical about when it comes to this blind. Great video!
Anyone else here after seeing the UA-cam short about the guys wife getting this for his birthday?
Yoooo
Yes
Yuppy!
Omg 😂 you caught me

I honestly just wanna have it to have. Thanks 🙏

I want to use as a camping tent.
I'm wondering if any companies sell that see through material. I have another blind. It'd be cool to add
I want it for the wrong reasons lol. Take a date to the beach or camping 😂
Exactly 😂
Bring the wood!🙂
I'm going to have to get me one. Looks like a really nice set up especially during Turkey season.
Thinking of buying one for the beach, how does it hold up against wind? Are there strong hooks into the ground to stablilise it?
is it shoot-through netting for fixed blade broadheads or do you have to only shoot through specific areas?
You want to shoot through the openings of the windows. Unfortunately it doesn't have the shoot through mesh.
I want this for camping!
I LIKE THIS one what about SNOW Coming thru with a wind during DEER season?

Does it hold heat real well is what im trying to figure out, or do all those little holes allow the heat to escape.

Any idea what the see through material is? or made of?
Just got my first season lease and gonna but a few of them
Good review thanks for pointing out your personal insights. Looking forward to trying mine!

Wanna know how much wind it blocks.
Could you do a side by side of the double bulk vs rhino?? I'd like to see which has the better view from inside.
I got rid of the double bull a while ago but I did a couple of videos and articles on the double bull. That video is somewhere on the channel here
That a cool blind I’ll have to check it out
I heard it’s hard to set up
Things get tangle up
I bought it. Very nice made for Florida blind. Wait, I bought a 270 blind that I show on my channel.
QUESTION - anyone know if this is hot inside? I’m in Florida? Is it like the red ice fishing tents?
I would think this would let more air flow through
@@MahoneyOutdoors I think so too - or the thin material won’t get so hot. PERFECT for Florida weather!
Thanks for Reviewing it was thinking about getting one now i will
How’s the vision before sunup. Looks like it would be like wearing dark sunglasses from what the vid shows.

Is this shoot thru? Can you replace the netting?
It is not shoot through
Just picked one up this morning from Harrisonville Walmart for 180.00.
I want that for my windows at home!

Thanks for the comment. You'll have to reach out to Rhino for that info because I have no idea. All I did was just buy it from a retail store.
@@MahoneyOutdoors thank you :-)

You have easily 12-15 inches to shoot out of with the windows all the way open. I don't feel uncomfortable shooting a bow out of it at all.
Looking at getting one of these. Does it let it more air than a normal blind? I'm in Missouri so protection from the cold is a factor.
Yes you'll feel a little breeze coming in through the walls but not bad.
Yeah it's cool but I bet it's the windy AF in there not much protection from the cold when you want to take your gloves and hat off for a minute

yes it's a bit breezy but I've had a buddy heater in there over the last year on some deer hunts and that did just fine keeping it warm.
i want this as a curtain
I saw this in Facebook. I know nothing about hunting and I want one lol
Looks sweet but you have to worry more about your scent then other blinds.
I agree. That's why I've primarily just used it for turkey hunting.
Good to see intruders at night, without being seen......🤨 Bigfoots, skinthings, ect. Lol. 🤪
tyler i think you're a real person
For the beach ⛱ 😎.
It isn't half the cost as it is in the upper price range for these blinds
So tiny you should make big one and tell for big families
My mind can’t wrap around this … how
neat
Can you shoot through it?
No it does not have the shoot through mesh
