Having to review mathematics after 35 years to pass the Acuplacer test for entry into new training. OMG I hated math...you make it easier and fun with understanding. No one ever explained it like you. If my teachers had, my life path would have had a different focus. Thank you and many blessings your way!
Mr. Jason Gibson is an excellent math teacher. He has a way to explain things that, as long as youare willing to learn math (as opposed to be hostile to math), his teaching is easy to follow. He is never vague or intimidating; and he never talks down on you or make you feel bad. Those are the hallmarks of a good teacher. James Chan, Ph.D., Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Another tip to keep in mind when creating a list of factors for a number: Once you've reached the halfway point you can stop, because a number can't have any *natural* factors greater than half its size - with the exception of the greater of its *identical* factors (1 and the number itself) and we already know as a given that the number is a factor of itself.
Thank you so much for all the offers you are doing This the best educational channel I have ever seen, Twinty years back I don't like algebra, calculus, geometry But now with you I returned back and study just for pleasure Regards from Yemen 🇾🇪

A prime number is a number has two factors only, one multiplied by another number such as 2, 3, 5, 7, 11… If a number has more than two factors, they are called composite number. It’s a good idea to memorize prime numbers because they are very useful for solving fraction problems such as reducing fractions and solving algebra problems.
@@MathAndScience similarly,we can find the GCF and LCM of any two consecutive even numbers easily. The GCF is always two and LCM is obtained by dividing both numbers by two and multiplying their quotients along with two. Eg. 8,10 LCM=2. GCF --> 8/2=4, 10/2=5, 4×5×2=40.

Awesome instruction. Thank you.
Well elaborated
Thanks so much!
i liked and subscribed to this because my favorite subjects are math and science
Can it be 3.5 times 2 is = 7?
No, factors are only whole numbers. So, no decimals or fractions can be factors. 😀
Thank you for these videos. Thy are really helpful!!
thanks bro
Are GCF and HCF are same ?
great method of deduction....now is factorization used in algebra?
Yes definitely used in algebra.
Sir please make videos on oscillators
I think the GCF of any two consecutive numbers is one and LCM is their product.
Interesting!
