I saw Band-Maid live in Otaru Japan last October on MISA's birthday. They cracked a bottle of champagne on stage. Then Miku let MISA take over her Magic Time MC spot. Yep, MISA's Magic Time! MISA was so cute, she was so shy doing it, but the crowd loved it!

Your point about how MISA is more part of the songs, not being in the background. That is because, when the band first formed, Miku couldn't really play guitar. She was learning, but only really knew a few chords. However rather than putting Miku's part on the backing track, MISA was asked to step up and cover for the areas that Miku's guitar should have been. And that was the foundation of Band-Maid's bass forward sound, that makes them uniquely identifiable to this day. Even now, when Miku has become a very skilled and accomplished rhythm guitarist and on occasion does play some lead parts, in most Band-Maid songs, MISA's bass is still prominent in the mix. In fact, that is why in so many of their songs, each instrumentalist gets a small part to shine. So no one individual takes all of the spotlight.
Andin Freedom, MISA basically played the Lead throughout the entire song.

She is so good, her switching between picking and slapping during songs is incredible, it is so good and so effortless. You can see a really good example of it in the live video for "No God"

You are correct regarding the accessibility of bands. We go to a lot of shows and always listen to the support bands. If we like them, we start to follow them as well. Because the support bands are less well known and are often in the early stages of the career, we get to see them in tiny venues and are often recognised by them and have a chat with them at their shows. But we always have in the back of our minds that one day, if they become successful, we may not be able to do this again. There are some like the now, but we always remember the precious moments when they were unknown to most. Bands like Rival Sons from the US and newer bands like Nova Twins and Kid Kapichi in the UK. Great reaction as usual. Thanks (UK)

It was great to see MISA's mother in the crowd at the Yokohama Arena show. There was one part where Miku was walking around the crowd, during "Rock in Me" and she waved to her. The other moment, MISA was walking around the crowd, and she stopped to jam, and her mom can be seen with a big smile on her face. Her mom was sitting in the vicinity of the ladies from Lovebites, I believe. Miku walked by them also and waved.

Near the beginning of the video you mentioned that people passively assume you're difficult to approach. I've got the exact opposite problem. My lips sort of give the impression of a resting smile and as a result people think I'm approachable when I'm generally not and would prefer not to be.

My younger brother was born on Oct. 12th and he's a full on, raging extrovert whereas I'm a total introvert, more like MISA. I still find it difficult to initiate conversations with people that I don't know but my brother talks to everyone, any time. So it's not in the stars, lol. Thanks for watching the docs, they are really interesting and informative.

I feel very fortunate I was able to get a high-five from Miku in Charlotte, NC on the 2023 tour. The venue could hold about 800 people.
Oh, and for the star sign (Libra) influencing personality, keep in mind that Miku is also a Libra, born October 21st - same day as me!
😁 So I don't think it has THAT much influence.

At nearly 5'9" MISA is an imposing figure on stage. She (and Akane) is much taller than the average Japanese woman. My wife, who is also a Japanese rock musician told me that very tall girls often get bullied or shunned in high school. This can be seen in the anime Azumanga Daioh, where 4'8" Chiyo-chan is befriended by 5'10" Sakaki-san.
