They are the greatest rock band in the world today! Fantastic reaction guys! I have a list of links down below in "What to do next" . Thanks for more Band-Maid.
Manners and Black Hole are both from Unseen World, their latest album. I really don't think you can go wrong with any Band Maid song you pick. They fall into different areas, some harder, some more metal, some bluesy, but all great. About US is an amazingly emotional song from Band Maid to their Masters and Princesses (fans) that they haven't been able to perform for. Saiki has a heartfelt introduction it is worth finding the translation for prior to watching. Warning is from the latest album and has a driving rock beat. Real Existence is a great older song and if you want to see two versions of the same thing, try Secret My Lips by Band Maid and Secret Maiko Lips by Band Maiko. I don't want to spoil the surprise.
Band-Maid 95% of the time drops new videos after their live performances. They performed on Sunday in the virtual concert in Australia (SPLENDOUR XR). They only played 5 songs but they were amazing. I have been following Band-Maid since 2014 and I have every album and Dvds that they have created. You won't find a bad song on any album and they are all different. 🤘🤘
My top two BAND-MAID songs are About Us and The Dragon Cries, but honestly you can't go wrong picking anything. Freedom (live) has an epic drum solo and you get some of Miku's vocals too. Saiki Atsumi - lead vocals Miku Kobato - rhythm guitar/ backup vocals/songwriter Kanami Tono - lead guitar/ composer Akane Hirose - drummer MISA - bassist
@@stimproid Its a great song and I can hear the similarities, but I'm not sure I'd call any of their songs more "BAND-MAID" since I feel they are always evolving, experimenting and changing their sound. You can hear so many influences from many different genres of music.

Kanami (lead guitar and composer) challenged Kaname (drums) for this one, asking how fast should could play. She replied 190-200 BPM, so Kanami wrote it at 220.
Having stated that, I should let you know since you want to watch "Warning!" next, that its MV is super entertaining, and the live version is not that much better than the studio recording, so that's a rare exception where the MV is a must. Usually, I say skip the MV if there is a live version on the Internet, as Band Maid destroys live. For instance, "Dice". That song rips studio, as you saw. But just wait until you hear the live version which is out there. It's killer. "Domination" which you watched is 100x better live than in MV.

Manners was the 9th song of this concert and they had enough stamina and energy to make Black Hole the 21st and next to last song from this concert!!!! Then for the last song (Freedom) they got off the stage and were running around like Maidiacs. Go figure. This band is a juggernaut that will not be stopped.
Who ever thought up the idea to have the band come off the stage (Except poor Akane) and mingle with the camera people is a genius. It felt like you were right there with them.

Blues rock then hard and fast prog rock from the same ladies at the same concert! Doesn't get much better! The Small Pigeon scream is great! Band Maid, "Still Unfinished!" Miku writes great lyrics and sings back up in most songs, Miku's and Saiki's voices blend together so well!
Awesome reaction! "Manners" is my favorite song followed by "Warning!" Both are off their newest album "Unseen World". Manners just feeds my bluesy hard rock soul. In the song Domination you can hear Miku (Rhythm guitarist, lyricist) singing way low with an almost guttural sound, it's been called her "frog voice", the way it blends with the music and Saiki's voice is very cool. I discovered almost 2 years ago, UA-cam kept suggesting their song "Thrill" to me and I was like, "Maids? Really UA-cam, go home you're drunk" I finally relented and clicked the video. Not what I was expecting! I checked "Real Existence" and "Don't Let Me Down". (Earlier songs) I really liked them but I was on a journey of rediscovery of the band Nightwish, so I didn't dive into the band at that time. About a year ago UA-cam suggest their song "Onset", I remembered I thought they were cool, so I watched it. 🤯Good Holy Mother of Everything That is Good! I was complete blown away by it. Listened to it over and over, told everyone I know about it and began my journey with BAND-MAID and haven't looked back. I listen to their entire catalog all the time and there is not one song I skip.
They fall into the category of the highest praise I can think of to give a rock band: they're better live. Best hard rock band on the planet right now.

Been following Band-Mind for a couple of years. They are one of the best. I was glad you mentioned the harmonies between Saiki and Miku. Very few reactors do, they are more blown away with the instrumentalists. Not that there is anything wrong with that. Miku has a resonance to her voice that makes her almost the perfect complimentary voice (not merely a back up singer). Plus when she has her own songs during concerts, she sounds fabulous. On a side note, there is another band I've just caught on to, a Korean rock band call Rolling Quartz. Their original song Blaze, and Rock and Roll Paradise are excellent. Give them a listen if you enjoy the rocking women.
I am a 65old Japanese male, I also know the Jimmy Page about AKANE's incredible drumming play. AKANE's play style maybe more similar to Jinjer Baker of Cream, this is my thought. In fact, Jinjer Bake said that his play is not similar to John Bohnum.
Is it just me or has anybody else see the frustration in saiki's eyes not having a audience to work with she feeds of them as well them her well hopefully that will end soon also great reaction thank you be well
To understand the meaning of Manners, you need to understand the mindset of the band. Miku (backup vocals and guitar) who is the lyricist said in an interview that Manners was specifically about Band-Maid. From the very beginning this band set their sights on conquering the world through their music and was quite open about this in interviews and named their albums to reflect that; Domination, Conqueror and now Unseen World. In the early days they were often ridiculed and not taken seriously. Manners expresses their journey: difficult beginning but progress through courage, deceiving expectations. It talks about evolution of their band, beyond people's expectations, learning from their mistakes but their journey to take over the world is still unfinished. Never stop until the world is in your grasp. I just LOVE this song and this band.

Every member of this band is AWESOME!
The "Backup" singer you are referring to is Miku, who got the band started. These girls are all close friends (now), and do lots of things together. Japanese bands, unlike American bands, check their ego at the door and support each other. You will see in many of their songs that most of the members have short 20-30 second solos and the others, stop and watch and support them. Miku brought the lead singer "Saiki" in because she wanted a more powerful singer than herself, in the interest of creating the best band. AND IT WORKED!
Oh I really like that Miku is the founder. Yea you saw me focusing in on her. I see MISA mentioned a lot. I think that is the Bassist. We will get the band members name and back story as we go for the Madiacs comments! Thank you for commenting!

Where's the fun in a monochrome world?

Until you've painted a miracle. Never ending!
You must come back.

Go to the Unseen World.

Seeing once is worth more than a hundred vicarious stories.

Cheers😁
Ridwan Chen - Thanks for the sub and the song suggestions!
this is their fastest (beats per minute) song so far 200+ BPM
Black Hole goes at 220 BPM, proggy speed metal at it's best.
Misa, the barefoot assassin on bass.
Is it just me or has anybody else see the frustration in saiki's eyes not having a audience to work with she feeds of them as well them her well hopefully that will end soon also great reaction thank you be well
Nice insight.
I have noticed, but as they have done more online shows she seems to be adjusting. The first online they all seemed so "lost" lol
These girls are actually better live than studio.
The mark of the best bands!
If you want to see the Baddest Ass Drum Solo on the planet check out "BAND-MAID / FREEDOM (Official Live Video)" ua-cam.com/video/FHpuEqMAcDg/v-deo.html at 2:04. I recommend you watch the whole video and just wait for it. I watch this at least once a week....lol Akane (Drummer) is actually one of the best drummers in the world.
@@reactioninaction7415 My pleasure.

The back up singer was the main singer until they get their new main, and the both compliment each other voice,
And,
This is not their final form,
The Maids lay waste to every venue they grace.
The Maids - oh I like how you phrased the band. Very cool!
You are getting drawn into Bandmaid.. Lol The best band on the planet... Do Freedom live for an awesome drum solo and watch their interaction on stage... No one out there even comes close... And if you like female voices and rock/metal, take a look at Liliac and their vamp metal.. They are a family band from Georgia USA.. Watch their song Nothing... Best wishes from France..
This set destroies; the girls on steroids; extraterrestrials.
