During Band Maid's 10th Anniversary Tour finale at Yokohama Arena, Misa really got down with one of her solos. A blond woman in the audience when nuts (in a good way). You could tell that Misa really loved doing that. The blond woman in the audience was Misa's mother.

Also, Miku give Misa's mother a hi-five during 'Rock In Me'.

Enjoyed the reaction! First, addressing the role of a bassist. I'm an old rock guitarist still active in playing live shows on the weekends. Yes, the singer and guitarist get the most attention because they're most up front. But it's impossible to have a good band without a solid drummer and bassist. Shout out to my drummer and bassist brethren.....and sisters!
As far as the Miku documentary, go with whatever is better for you. I've seen it, and it is long. But remember, Miku is the one who founded Band Maid. Though they've called Akane the "leader" in the past, it's Miku who calls the shots. She's the spokeswoman...she designs the costumes, etc. Also being the least experienced in the band musically, she had to learn guitar on the fly. And as a guitarist, allow me to say she's a VERY solid rhythm player. Yes, her story is a long one....but very compelling.

I give you props for all the good points. I would like to add a little something about the drummer , bassest and pigeon. Sorry i mean Miku. In BM Miku plays a very important role as she also helps hold down the baseline rhythm for the band. Her being able to do so allows Misa and Akane more freedom to move away from their standard roles. To play in support of the lead guitar or the vocals as well as each other. Plus it adds the ability to play more fills and support solos. Of course they also come back to holding down the song. Which frees up Miku do do other things.Something her gets better at all the time. Making the future brighter for the Maids .This is one of the secrets of Band Maids music. All because one little 800 year old pigeon worked hard to learn guitar. Even though she was not sure she even wanted to at first. And that is another secret of their success. They all do everything for the music. Always. There are no egos in this band.

Whether you do a Miku marathon or break it up into three episodes I'll be here to watch. Without Miku, there would be no Band-Maid and her story really details why this is a miracle band.
The bass and guitar conversation is from "Don't you tell ME" which is no longer on UA-cam. But they did that same bass and guitar conversation in their recent Lollapalooza set, which is still on UA-cam. So there you go!

Miku- our beautiful little pigeon- founder, song writer and now guitarist for Band-Maid. Also, a musical genius in her own right with the release of her solo EP Hatofull. 'nough said. Great reaction as usual- Thanks. I think that that Kanami/Misa duel features in an old Official Live video of Don't You Tell Me. Please correct me if this is incorrect.

I think Miku Part 1 is the most special of all of them as if it wasn't for this young lady we wouldn't have Band Maid.

To this day she often figures out her Bass Parts on the piano, so that she doesn't get stuck in a rut composition wise. And yes, she loves whiskey. Back when she had a last name she used to sign her name as Misa Laphroaig, after the scotch. The Dual, or Call & Response "Battle" was the 9th song from the Zepp Tokyo LIVE concert, 'Don't You Tell ME!' It was taken off of UA-cam ahead of a DVD release. It's still on the Chinese site Bilibili. Look luck getting a decent video off it intact, though it has been done. Still, ever fan should see that show for a couple hours of BAND-MID fun, reactions or no. But MISA is an active bassist like Flea, or McCartney, all the way back to James Jameson.

The MISA/Kanami exchange you marveled over is from a live performance of Don't You tell Me, from I think 2019 Zepp Tokyo concert. That and the current version of HATE are the prime examples of MISA and Kanami going at it. These exchanges are done for a touring season and not repeated. They may take the same song and make up something new. Thus, best version of Don't You Tell Me is from that Zepp concert. They did do a new version during this last tour. Also the HATE interlude was new for this last tour. A good place to find both is from their 2023 Lollapalooza gig. Sadly, the best versions was just done at their Yokohama Arena tour finale. Sadly because that was pay for view and not on UA-cam.

The MISA - Kanami duel you were interested in was from Don't You Tell Live which is no longer available due to a copyright claim, but you can see it for your own viewing pleasure if you do a UA-cam search and watch someone else's reaction video. Look for one that's more than 2 years old. I just watched it on the Music Life Plus channel. Love this song.

That particular bass duel between Kanami and MISA was taken from their 2018 Zepp Tokyo Concert. They actually brought it back for their performance at Lollapalooza, so if you look for the hour long video of it, you can find the entire performance.

As Miku Kobato is the Genius behind Band-Maid, I would say do all three together. Miku's story is amazing, an incredible woman and talent. 👍👍

  • @rockandrollrockandrollrock6930

I'll be watching either way but I highly suggest doing it all in one big crazy video. She is the founder, heart, and sole of the band and her journey to where she is now is incredible. Those videos fly by for sure.
