I decided to do a 90 day read in 2023 and loved it. After the 90 days were up I spent the rest of the year going over all my questions I had from the notebook I kept during the read. This year I tried to do a year long read but would forget what I'd read months before and found I couldn't make the connections as easily. The NT was fine the OT was where I struggled. So in 2025 I will be doing a 90 day read again. I agree it takes time to build up the habit but now it's just second nature. I have found listening to an audio bible while reading along can be very helpful, even more so for reading something very technical like Leviticus.
That's a great way to do it!! I usually start off the year with a faster read thru too! 90 days seems to be my favorite speed for reading through it. Great job!
January 1st is a curse must come from satan. My tips are find a Bible you understand. You don’t have to read grandmas Bible. I use audio and paper Bible at the same time. Just finished Duet. I don’t stop to study I use flag markers for later to study. I do daily scripture writing while the coffee is perking. I have a real desire to get to know God through all his word not just selected verses. I haven’t decided if I want to do the she reads truth reading plan or Bible recap. I’m still writing out the New Testament also.
