- In this full #review I will explain all the specs of the 2024 Genesis GV80 Prestige then take it for a test drive. The 2025 GV80 will get a refresh with the first supercharged 3.5T e-SC powertrain, 27-inch OLED Display and option 22-inch wheels but they still have quirks which will bring me to my pros and cons.

I wait til 2025 model is released
That is an option 😁👍
100% agree
Great review - Professional, love hearing the pros and cons. The GV80 will be our choice when we upgrade.
@@wsantschi7362 they are awesome vehicles. Congratulations when you get it 👍
Great Honest Review
Thank you 👍
This is the most powerfull car in the world
They are nice
Great review but towing with such a luxurious vehicle like this is not likely with me. Get a truck for that.
That is a good point 👍
Owned one for a year. Looked great but both the car and the after-sale service was junk! I would never look at another Genesis after that experience.
Thanks for you owners insight 👍
I own one. Genesis sales and service and after support is absolute garbage. Not luxury car level and no one at the dealer seems to care.
@@DeSalvoLawthat's because most Genesis dealers are Hyundai dealers. Huge gap between "luxury service" and a Hyundai dealership. some will say the same of Toyota and Lexus but all of my Toyota's and Lexus vehicles had far better service than Genesis did!
@@beri232 My gf has a 13 year old Infinti and they STILL offer concierge pickup and dropoff for oil changes.
Meanwhile, Ive been to the shop twice for my 6 month old GV-80, and once, for an overnighter and they had no loaner and no rental, and didn't even offer to Uber me home. The second time, I waited 3 hours for them to replace a tire they confirmed thay had in stock due to a bolt tire puncture (3/4 inch diameter) , and they told me at the end of the 3 hours that I had to come back tomorrow. I made a stink with the service manager and they gave me a loaner.
They are doing a terrible job at Hyundai and at Genesis. I will likewly go back to Honda after I drive the GV-80 for a few years.
Can’t agree more. They’re trying to be Lexus but can’t do it.
The interior looks a bit dated compared to other vehicles in this price range. Would like to see the 2025 version....
It is time for a refresh 👍
It is a home run vehicle and definitely feels premium all the ay around, not like a Hyundai. I get lots of compliments on it. I replace my Audi with this and didn't miss a beat, though I like the Audi's less-comfort oriented handling better.
The exterior and interior are worthy of high price tag but open the hood and put this on a lift and probably not so much.
Enough with the black trim nonsense! This is not designed for that young buyer.
They are nice but I already bought my suv 👍
I personally would never pay that much relative to other luxury vehicle pricing for a Hyundai. You get that in the $55k-$75k and it would become a more appealing option.
Good points 👍
The top package with the bigger engine used to be $75k
Nowhere on the exterior does it say this is a Hyundai. This doesn't have the Hyundai logo anywhere except on very specific labels hidden inside the car. So no one would know that it's a more luxurious Hyundai
@@NileshR12 anyone who knows about cars knows this is a Hyundai in disguise. Props to them for trying to split the brand into a Lexus/Toyota, Acura/Honda or Infiniti/Nissan, but they aren’t there yet. I’d still take a GX460 or the new GX 500 over the Genesis.

Ah, $90K and no 4-corner air suspension, nah...
It’s 80k. Also one less gimmick to break. You don’t need air suspension to ride well.
It’s not everyone cup of tea 😁
@@kiwiinterstates3190whether one believes that is a gimmick or not, the point is if you want to compete in the luxury space with MSRPs approaching $90K, you have to offer 4-corner air suspension. All of its main competitors (X5, Q7, MDX type S) offer said feature. All things being equal, spring based suspensions will always be inferior to air suspension...
Good points 👍
I remember Porsche Cayenne are not equipped with Air Suspension either?
Disagree with you on the quilting. Jeep overdid the quilting and begins to look busy.
Nothing wrong with that 👍
