You did well at building.
All Bad Notions! Thank you 👊🏻
@@UraniumFever76 Hey!
Your video has been very helpful in my latest project. I have a question though, that you or bad might be able to answer:
Is it possible to make the prefabs floating? I have an idea, but need to make that happen in order for the idea to become reality!
@@Big-Bad-Wolf hmmm. I have seen someone make a floating prefab! But normally only when it’s placed on something else. Not sure if it’s possible only on its own!
@@UraniumFever76 Love that you're answering comments 2 months later, not being ironic. I've given up this quest as it doesn't seem to be possible😏
@@Big-Bad-Wolf really sorry 😅 trying to be better with responding and hadn’t seen this at the time. If I do see an example of it being done I will let you know though either way!
im a new player and the stuff you guys are doing with this game engine deserves way more attention
Thank you for taking the time to go through 18 hrs of two different builds worth of footage Uranium to make this! Thank you drago for showing me the ways of the blueprints, this would not of been possible otherwise! And last but not least thank you drago, clvlnd, an montsta for spending hours each helpin me get the camps into position and destroying all the roofs to make these!
Dude, you took what I shared with you to the next level. No problem and your welcome.
Where is the link to the video to build the round UFO walls?
Still watching this, that deathclaw on the ufo. Thats as legendary as it gets. 🙌
A thing of absolute beauty - I just love the geometric perfection of this. Got the sweaty palms when the BP bits were being deleted at the end (it’s all too easy to scrap the wrong bits 😳🤣). BAD’s builds are 🤯 and you’ve laid it all out perfectly - thanks a mil for putting this together 🤩😍
Thanks Aussie! Deleting stuff can definitely get a little hairy sometimes lol
This just got a whole lot easier with the build camera
I've been waiting for this 2nd part...built a floating pyramid to awe new players near vault 76 after watching the 1st part. great info and clearly presented. TYSVM
This awesome, thanks! I've recently built my first low level UFO camp but couldn't for the life of me figure out how to do it higher up on floating semi-permanent objects! Brilliant!
Bads Notion's a blueprinting genius. i always knew building UFO's would be a pain in the arse, this makes it much easier thanx guys.
Building a UFO now doesn't feel like an Alien rectal probe. Nice one
Drago is the blueprinting genius! The only one I came up with was the quater circle. Lol only thanks to drago explaining how the catwalks work when blueprinting!
@@badnotions9084 The video kind of glosses over how to put blueprints together. Especially walls. If I'm building a normal base, but in the air, how does that work? I mean will the blueprints snap together if they are walls? Can you actually build walls? I'm not wanting to do a space ship. I want to build a mansion in the sky.
@@baconoverlord7982 yes, for somethin like that you can use the one blueprint with a catwalk and wall on your glass floor at the bottom of your build to place a roof, from there you can use corner pieces and more angle pieces to form the shape of your build and then put walls on top of those angles. Then one at a time or every other piece make the angle roofs flat and delete them. You should be able to stack walls on top of each other from there. If you want to delete walls that are attached though you'll have to flamethrower the ones underneath or above, or sometimes both if in the middle to get rid of it.
@@badnotions9084 Thanks. I figured it out. I made a decent base. A few mistakes along the way, but thanks for the great info!
Brilliant! Just ... damn!! I doubt I'll ever have the patience to do this but it is impressive. Thanks for taking the time to make this detailed and easy-to-understand guide! 🤩
You can do this with just Mats and no catwalk just make the wall have a door, place mat in door way, replace doorway with solid wall. Done
You’ve saved me money
I will use this tutorials for my 3rd alias, this will be my masterpiece then
THX A LOT !
Nice job of explaining how it done. I've made a few closer to the ground later i worked to make twice the almost maximum width you're aloud to build
Thank you!
tyvm for this vid although im not intested in a space ship i intend to build a blimp ship like the bosses have in mario 3 using the techniques i learned greatly appreciated
I wase waiting for this Man 🥺
Going to build over a location?
Wow! This is an amazing and detailed tutorial.
I will probably not be making any flying camps but I can see where many of these same techniques would be very useful in other builds like treehouses or building on top of pre-existing structures. I did know the technique for creating most of the blueprints that you used. However, showing all of the specific blueprints needed was very helpful.
The technique from this tutorial that I found most helpful was how to change the direction that the flat roofs run by changing them to two of the corner pieces. I may have done this by accident before but if so I never noticed it or knew how to replicate it. I think I will probably use this technique in a lot of different builds.
Thank you so much for sharing this with the Fallout 76 building community.
Take care,
GreedyNewt972
Great video mate! And Leonardo Dicaprio says in the Aviator, Show me all the blueprints, show me all the blueprints, show me all the blueprints!
Nice job with the tutorial, well explained & easy to follow. I’m expecting to see many more ufos turning up all over Appalachia 😂😂. I’ve had the pleasure of fighting the queen with Bad on top of one of his amazing builds! Love the content you guys come up with!! Can’t wait to the next one, your channel is easily one of fallout channels on UA-cam crammed packed with so much useful content & guides. Thanks for taking the time to do what you do ❤👊🏻💥
Appreciate that mate! Glad you like all the content we are doing 😊 keep up the great work!
I badly want a floating camp as 1. It looks cool and 2. I hate getting attacked by random enemy spawns when chilling at my camp. My problem is I’m lazy and stupid. So I will have to watch this about 509 times and will get around to doing it in around 2032 :(
About bloody time.. when’s building low coming out?
How to build medium high first then building low high.
Good to see people have figured out the magic catwalk trick, I've been playing around with that one with my crew for the last year now, very fun and very useful.
If you're interested I've got a method of using water purifiers, and the water well in those sky bases.
Hey, you wouldn't happen to.know of a method to build prefab structures in a sky base, would you?
@@Big-Bad-Wolf only the Brotherhood Recon tower!
Yea I got 3 sky camps each on 3 characters. You can build over any area except workshops. I went 1800 meters above the red rocket and it didn’t let me build. It’s usually 80-180 meters above and object to let you build.
If u have time Would u mind helping me on Xbox to place my camp/blueprint
There is also a max height limit. At one point way back you could build so you would be above the nuke zone, watch the mushroom cloud from orbit essentially. no longer tho, found that out the hard way a few months back.
Mindblowing! *_*
Honestly this is something 99% of us will never do... but sweet fuck this is impressive. Insanely well done. Incredible work.
The blueprint with the Cat walks do not work for me, is there any Trick ? (Alien Catwalks)
I seem to do this every vid: shared... :p
Okay, we need full tutorials for all the ships starting with 0:15
A couple of times you mention a link in the description, but I don't see any links... Great tutorials, though!
Can you show how to build the Prydwen that's in your videos?
Yesterday I finally made it, thank you very much, but there are some doubts, like if I keep going up high, I could put the Camp in any area, right? I have only gone up 6 stairs, that is to say, 2 times I have put the Camp, I will go up one more time and to assemble my ship, you could put more tutorials, greetings.
If I'm just making a basic building, but in the air, can I blueprint walls and just paste them wherever or will I need to do something special? I know in the video you used the matt and catwalk ones, but deleted the walls. How would you go about making a full set of walls?
followed these steps and ive gone super high but when i travel to my camp i sometimes end up falling to the ground. what gives?
You'll always fall on you first fast travel to the camp unless you see it from the ground before. Sometimes on rare occasions traveling from different locations will affect where you land as well.
@@badnotions9084 unfortunately i think i built too high above nuka world. it would teleport me under my platform and not above, so ive had to rebuild at a lower height. ive found that using items with animations tend to make more semi perm objects for fast scaling
Still working, i can do everything up until the catwalks, sadly I don't have the catwalk though lol so I'm stuck trying to build something up here.
how do you place your camp module on the medaillon ? , it doesn't allow me
Not quite getting the step at 17:05, how do I remove the staircase?
Do you know how to place foundations or prefabs in the sky?
Can anyone on Xbox help me put my blueprint down so it’s floating
What roofs were you using at 6:25 to ramp down?
Enclave roofs
I was wondering how did you manage to get your camp over whitesprings? i build to the height limit and tried from different spots and it still prevents me from getting close to the buildings
Poor Drago
It this point the devs should make it so your camp can move. Slowly but damn
How can i destroy the big stairs who snapped on the module bro??? Or does it stay and just let a friend destroy it?
Can u bridge builds to workshops from the sky? And if so is there a way to build multiple collectrons?
West of Uncanny Caverns is a glitched piece of landscape up high in the air. You can jetpack to it & set your camp.
If you want to build something like a normal space ship, how do we place the normal walls ?
Can't snap pillars on objects anymore
Do you do commission work for building camps?
If you're on playstation yes
@@badnotions9084 4 real?
@@punkchrist8942 yes
@@badnotions9084 Wouldn't happen to have an evil twin brother that does work pc, would you?
Where's part 3?
What happened to Bads giant inspector hat? . . . absolute masterpiece
Lol part 3: hat build!

The first ten minutes of this video will help you build a round wall camp. When you get the perfect circle come back to this video.
P.S.
Make sure all your foundation snaps into place
Get that shit out of here.
Thank you was searching for a good video as they forgot to put in the description!
I never get this things to work ☹️
I'm always high when I build
It helps
I'd be really great if the greenhouse building set would show up in the atomic shop... been uh while eh
Are you still able to make a sky camp?
Can request in with a support ticket. That's what I had to do. Had it within 30 minutes. Though I do not see the catwalk as an option to request in support.
Don't see how to submit a ticket in the description 😑
I used this to build a base on the water
Does anyone know why it says "Intersects with an existing object" im using the alien cat walk and different roofs just wanted to know been trying for hours but can't get the Quater circle to place
Same issue here
I'm able to place the blueprint on bare ground with the rugs so I know it's a good blueprint.. I tried to message Uranium Fever
@GlitchiGamer I got it right a couple of months ago. I kept rotating the blueprint and started moving from left to right while spaming the place button and it worked
@@elit3snip3z15 I will definitely try again then..
I tried again 😓😓😓😓 no luck..
I did notice his quarter wall blue print he says place the rug where it interlinks with the catwalk but then when you see him place the blueprint the rugs are like 3 feet away from the catwalk ?. ?.? What's with that....
You said you placed the greenhouse dome prefab, but it didn't allow fast travel. If I want to build a different camp using a different prefab, is it possible to place the prefab in the air, and how?
For example, I want to place the Brotherhood tower on top of the building next to Charleston Capitol building.
If you test it out let us know
Did you ever test this?
So I've done the build(best sky base I've seen, so props to you guys) and spawn point was working fine, on top everytime, now I've taken glass floor below away, it spawns everyone on the floor below, any ideas why?
Where is your camp module mate? Fast travelling can be a real issue with these builds. It’s normally best to have the module on something solid like a catwalk or floor piece
@Uranium Fever It is more or less identical to yours. I have the catwalk top and bottom with module on 3rd step peering just outside of the walls
Still works as of 4/4/24
Very useful tutorial, I've learned quite a bit from it. You make the semi permanent object bit look a lot easier than it is lol.
Is there, however, a way to move the camp without having to rebuild it? I made the mistake of thinking a roof piece that's snappable would suffice. Not so much.
were is the link
I think I'm blind I dont see the description for the full circle blueprint...
Question so when building the slant roof flat roof technique to the bottom. how was you able to get all the way down to the bottom?? Seems I'm having issues making it go down due to the area building zone cutting off the downward technique.. Is their a better way to go at this or am I missing something.?
Question - I tried the stuffy column blue print trick and the column would not snap back into place when I moved the stuffy forward as in the video. I tried all sorts of variations and the short column refused to snap back into place giving me the old "Cannot Place Item: Intersects with an existing object" message. It seems pretty straight forward so I can figure out what I am doing wrong - or did Bethesda change something already?
Ok got it to work but I had to FT the stuffy and break it.
You guys are fucking rocket scientist in real life aren’t you?
What are the roofs called that you used
have repeatedly tried this. when i get the medallion to duplicate and try placing anything on it including moving my camp location i get a message telling me either outside of playable area or needs support even though i can stand on the semi permanent medallion
What about the stairs? How do you get rid of those stairs, they're super unsightly but it says the structure can't be removed
If attached to a floor you cant. If attached to catwalks, just delete them first then you should be good. You can click a catwalk to a halfwall or a column and that will work as well. The spawn likes to prioritize the last catwalk placed.
So in order to build without using blueprints..I'd need a set of the catwalks correct? If I were to just put the floors on the staircase I wouldn't be able to place down normal walls that aernt a blueprint, correct?
Is everyone’s atom shop different? The alien stairs aren’t there for me?
No, they aren't available right now but there's a process in which you van get them. You can submit a ticket to support and purchase any item previously in the atomic shop for full price without waiting for them to come back.
I never do this but…first?
You got it! 👊🏻
I can’t figure out how to get the catwalk wall to place so I can add the stairs. Help
Did you ever finish?
I am making a similar type of base above ground and I'm trying to get the spawn right. I sadly don't have the catwalk and i use roof as my floor. Any idea of how i can place down a stair without a catwalk?
You might be able to get a blueprinted half floor to click to a column, you can place the floor into some broken roofs to hide it. Once you attach a staircase though it is permanent, thats why the catwalks are preferred. You can delete the catwalk/catwalks from the staircase and remove the staircase if desired instead of having to start over and place your camp again.
Looking for the circle wall blueprint that someone can place down on Playstation
Does this Still work
Can you still do this??
anyone know how to remove floating stair ? can't seems to make it work
Literally only one link like he had anything other than the ond
I know this is a long shot, but does anyone have the circle blueprint on steam?
Does this still work? Or did Buzzkill Bethesda "fix" it?
This still works!
Does this still work cause I wanna see if I can build at the top of the top of the world sign
Reeaaally wish it was exactly like fallout 4. You didn’t have to use glitches.
I went into one and bro had traps to kill people
😂😂😂
Is this patched ?
Can I pay you to build this for me??? (In caps ofc)
Can you build me something in xbox? I would pay you dude
Does this still works after the new nuka dlc? I tried this but does not work
Not sure - haven’t tried since Nuka world dropped. Will test and report back!
@@UraniumFever76 alright thanks i would appriciate that.
If you mean building floating camps, yes, it still works.. haven't started building the actual structure yet though
@@Big-Bad-Wolf it does not work try it out
@@jehovavenhova3354 I literally just did.. got the glass roof above nuka world
Uranium Fever , bro I built my quarter cirlcle the exact same as yours.. i can place the blue print on the ground with no problem.. but it will not place in the sky net at all 😢😢😢. I did exactly as you with removing the roof panels and tried placing.
@uraniumfever
The catwalks will not place through more than 1 roof, but each one must be "supported" by at least one. The rugs can sit on multiple roofs, its just the catwalk itself that can't. You'll want to place your holes in the glass floor strategically.
I got to where i wanted and didnt have the blueprints for part 2 so i couldn't spawn back up there 🥲
