I had the same issue with my machine, I removed the printed heating element or thermal jet system …but thinking it would take a few days to get the replacement part I didn’t document the wiring very well. The part arrived 8 weeks later and I can’t remember how to hook it up. 😅 Now I’m unsure of quite how to connect the wires. Looking for a repair manual. 😥
where did you get the replacement element? Ours plugged up and I can't find a replacement. Pretty much impossible to clean. Even called Breville and they don't sell this part. But for $350 we can send it in.... thanks! $1000 is useless after 2 years.

i guess that is the annoying part about breville machine which has many patented parts and cant get replacement else where. I cant imagine if they dont sell parts and how are the machines that people bring out of their countries for whatever reasons, to get their machines fixed?

@@margelopez6692 Creo que el ajuste de temperatura en el Breville Barista Pro es de 2 grados. Creo que lo más bajo que puede establecer es 88 grados y puede ajustar 3 veces hasta un máximo de 94 grados centígrados.
hey mate, ive got a brevile BES990 at work, the customer descaled it a blew the bottom steam boiler heating fuse. i've replaced that and the unit in heating but stops short of the desired temp. stops heating at 70 degrees instead of reaching 96 degrees. I do however have full stream. any ideas would be greatly appreciated :)
Should be able to blow air thru the heater element? I have a blockage and found everything is clear up to this element. I thought maybe my solenoids were bad so I took the plungers out. Everything flows untill I try to blow water or air threw this heater element.

Now that i know it is called a "printed heater" i can find the number on the internet and will call them today to see if i can order directly from them.
Hi, we have Breville Barrista touch 880 model. It works perfectly except for the the top quarter of the LCD touch screen, which is unresponsive. We tried to do a factory reset but the button is on the top right corner and now we are stuck .Does anyone please have any solution we can try? So far we unplugged and left for a long time, we disconnected and reconnected the lcd screen but no luck. If you have advice on this we will appreciate it. We love our Breville and use it daily! We look forward to use it and it’s our way to bless people!

really...I sold 2 of the portafilter hangers to a guy on my ETSY shop who uses the black version of the Pro. He told me that the magnetic hanger does not stick to the body of his machine and requested for a refund. I trusted him and refunded him. With the 2 hangers and postage cost, I lost close to US$50...gosh. The magnets I used are the strong neodymium magnets. Saddened with this new realisation.
if you are measuring the temperature when the water runs out from the spout, the temperature will definitely be lower. That is not the accurate measurement
@@Heartbeatpb I am trying to modify one of my portafilter so that I can measure the water as it exit the portafilter and there should be pressure as well to simulate the 9 bar pressure when there is coffee ground. Stay tune for update on that soon!
Most likely your thermal jet coil is clogged with scale. Try descaling it a few times. And if it doesn't work, you have to send your machine in to check it as too much scale will be impossible to remove with just descaling cycles.

Hi you can unscrew your steam tip and first check whether it is clog with milk. The pro will come with a steam tip cleaner needle. Try first to see if it resolve the weak steam issue.
it used less than a year. As this is an imported set from Australia and Breville do not give warranty for machines purchased in Australia and shipped to other countries. I find it very saddening for this actually. Maybe its an usual practice for electronic appliances...but it just doesn't make me feel good about it.
well, my machine is imported from Australia. No warranty covers. If there is warranty, of course I will make use of the warranty. its just a matter of time whether our Breville will break down. Be it within warranty period or after. I am sharing my experiences. Thats all.

i dont think the thermal jet is lasting and i would rather get thermal block than the thermal jet. Thats in my own opinion.

Para el barista pro, la temperatura solo se puede ajustar con el dial que controla el menú. No hay otras formas de ajustar la temperatura.

most likely the flow control on the thermal jet coil is faulty.

Which temperature is coming out? I have the barista touch and get max 70° C, because of that i think that the brew temperature is to low?!
