Hello thanks for the videos on Pax Dei been watching since the New World videos. Congratulations on the move to your new home.
My thinking is that they want clans to stockpile and be at different levels to test the economy and market places. I was thinking a definite wipe at go live and maybe one other if they find a massive issue. But would they want clans to be higher level to see what would happen in the "wars" with high level gear? That would give more info than clans building up and fighting with pointy sticks.....surely.
A dev went on record in the discord saying there are no wipes "on the horizon".
As in no wipes at all?
@@marshllogaming9705 There WILL be wipes eventually, both character and world wipes, but none are planned for a long while.
Quotes from the devs are:
"We might well want to do a major refresh to the world during EA, and that would invalidate all buildings. A plot wipe is definitely possible. But if it happens, it's not gonna be anytime soon"
and
"Nope, no wipe is planned and we will tell you officially in advance"

I confirmed there will be wipes, and quoted a dev directly from their discord. They don't have any planned for the near future.
They have confirmed there will be at least one wipe AT THE END OF EARLY ACCESS, which is at least one year away. There will also likely be more wipes along the way as well.

@@Lotus_Lenex I never said the devs said no wipes. Again, my first sentence states (in capital letters) there WILL be wipes. And in two separate posts, I say there are likely to be multiple, but at least one for sure.
You are probably reading someone else's comment and wrongly assuming it was me.

I think there will be 3 full wipes. Similar reasons you mentioned. I think one will be for rebalancing after everything is in place. A rebalance wipe would tell them how good the actual release would be, before the release.

I was thinking what if they had a Free/very cheap accounts with no plots at all? That could be interesting to boost the economy and the kingdom style and that could be a way to pay for your plots in game just random weird idea
If there's a way to earn plots with in-game currency then big guilds will claim everything

I think it would be better to wipe at the beginning of the market update because they will want to know how it would mature. If you don't wipe then you won't see from start to finish issues/trends. How can you adjust the market for beginners if you have a mainly established player base?
if you tweeked the ini file a bit your game will run so much better on stream i run a 1060 6gb and i run this game at 50 fps and 70 in the mountains
Mind sharing what you tweaked. Cant get more than 20 fps on my RTX 3060.
They informed us of atleast 1 full wipe on release. Possibly more inside early access. As expected....

I don’t think there will be a complete wipe. It will demoralize half the players. They know the clans that are going to make this game what it will be and will do small strategic wipes as required but will cater to clans. They are not going to cater to solo or even new players. Clans will make the new player experience good or bad. Playing with a clan is what they are designing for.
dont forget lvl up charcuterie to get more tier 2 hides
They say it doesn't help, but, i was getting 2-3 hides off small game (like Rabbits) when it started get up there

Mate there's no way to guess how many wipes, they may need to wipe for so many reasons every update they have done so far has broken something eventually they will have to wipe to just clean it up also they are now trying to get rid of the people who have left the game that's another wipe maybe then the bigger the update the more likely a wipe also bur I dont mind Ill rebuild 😁
yeah man game is very gpu heavy another reason they may need to wait to release this. Spend another 2-3 years building the system and making a good combat system

If they wipe, this game they will lose half of there players, if not all, this game probably won't even survive long enough for a full launch. I love this game but the combat is horrible and pointless, game is absolutely gorgeous and I only play it for the building,people don't give games long enough to develop, something else will come out and kill take the player's, like Dune Awakening

Every mmo loses people Every month. They will need a wipe to clear the plots of people who has quit already.
