Mincho, like many guitarists before her, wanted to learn guitar to impress all the girls, and, like those before her, she ended up impressing all the boys.
Misa is also there to make sure she doesn't fall off if she stands on the bass drum. Mincho has said she doesn't remember what she did by this point in the solo (axe-kicking a cymbal, climbing onto the bass drum) so Misa keeps an eye on her safety 😅
NIce! Never get tired of these. Ryan Mear once said that he believed Kanami was a heavy music guitarist at heart with the pop sensibilities to make Band Maid songs accessible to all. Sometimes, however, the inner Mincho must be allowed her voice!
Awesome. This is my type of guitar solo. Soulful. Not a fan of the technical shreddy stuff that makes me yawn after the initial wow. Never thought a couple years ago surfing the Internet would find me stumbling into my favorite musician, songwriter and rock star in the past twenty years. A petite, super humble Japanese woman who plays dressed up as a maid? - never would have thunk it in a million years lol.
There are no words to adequately bestow the gratitude I have for this humble, kind, friendly genius. That guitar sings in her hands like nothing else. These women bring me to tears when they perform. God bless Band Maid ❤
I just LOVE how Akane is going absolutely bananas behind the drums watching her bandmate go insane on this solo! This whole band is so excited to be playing together and their music reflects it all
Don’t know if this was before or after London 2019 but when she did this at London it was incredible. I’m hoping for her to channel her inner Hendrix some more this year!
My dream is the Ladies bring back all the little extras and do them all in one concert that is filmed and broadcast PPV, with a DVD and BluRay available for sale, with ALL of their other concerts and albums/singles in a Boxed Edition

Kanami has created a good structure for her extended solos. Kanami, as always, keeps her solos on point, perfectly played and not letting them drag on too long. While not shown enough, it’s fun watching Akane swaying to the music behind her kit. Tanks for posting Minchu in action.

I was thinking just today, I know _Kanami_ was the one other member totally on board with Kobato's maid outfits....but maybe _Mincho_ wants a leather catsuit or razored jeans and t-shirt.... But I see this and think, The sensible shoes and dowdiest of the maid gear are so much more bad-ass in context with what she's doing. The Gap in effect once again.
Amazing playing by Minchu, but also amazing by her PRS to stay in tune good enough for her to start right into the next song without a re-tune of her guitar :-)
