Don't you guys think the exterior and interior texture resolutions look way worse compare to fenix? When you are looking to the landing gears upclose, the tires look so much more low poly and undetailed compare to what fenix has. Also in the trailer we see a shot from the cabin (passanger view) and the texture of the wall to the right looks very low res too
I don't understand whats the issue with WX. Asobo could offer rendered bitmap layers of each flight level that the aircraft could show without need for access to weather api from Meteoblue.. it is just that Asobo decided not to..
Check out Asobo's latest developer stream - I believe it's more about getting it right instead of just providing a baseline weather simulation. That said, I hope MSFS 2024 takes weather simulation more seriously in that regard - good point! 4:00 It's not VR .. PMDG 777 will have 3 different options for UFT position Window , Bottom near tiller , and virtual hand above FMC :) :) i have to say ..finally ..its so handy , hope they will add this to 737 lineup aswell .
I agree with your assessment, but I think the hand position does have to do with VR as RRS has confirmed VR support for the bird. Though different positions of the eFB will be supported, I don't think the hand will be visible like shown in the trailer - though I might be wrong. That opening clip with the bubbling shadow on the glare panel just ruins it, no way could I handle staring at that during a flight .. total immersion killer. If Asobo don’t fix that in 2024 I’m going with the FF 777 for XP12 .. yeah it’s got shadow flicker too .. but not right straight in front of you.

Bahah it's a trade secret - but quite honestly, it's just positioning the drone camera, zooming in and setting the focus to auto and the rest is just what the sim shows. I do edit the colours and lighting a bit on Canva, but I'm also still learning how to do all that more cinematically! Will make a thumbnail video once the second channel reaches 10,000 subscribers. Glad to see the PMDG 777 with a weather radar, hopefully the 737 gets a weather radar sometime soon.
Features of the 777 will be backlogged into the 737, as Mathjis has mentioned. However it is not what they are focusing on currently.
Heard all the new features in the 777 will be coming to the 737 as well in future update, specially the efb and door mechanism 😊

Regarding the "Weatherradar" you can see its a flat above and down picture of the Weather ahead. They are well on top but alot of reds

You can do 16x if you want and your CPU can handle it. Super smooth.
PMDG integrated that into the 737, I assume they can just probably copy the code line for line to an extent for the 777
