I had some daylight left after filming my latest Buffy video, so here's some non-Buffy content for ya! Hope you enjoy, because no idea when/if there will be more. Also currently don't know yet when I'll have the All About Buffy epilogues ready, but for sure not next week, that much I know.
Omg yessssss!! I have watched your corset video and the lint roller/clothing inspection video so many times, (like no exaggeration,) soooo many times. I’m so jazzed to add this one to the rotation. Your style is cool as fuck, much appreciated chika! 👏🏻👏🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻👊🏻👊🏻😉
Cool video Danielle! Really enjoyed that. It’s quite a wonderful feeling when someone likes a photo I’ve taken so the pleasure is all mine. Really miss taking portraits of you and your sisters. Hopefully soon again.
So many depression boxes lying around my house with art and decor waiting to be hung… for like, 2 years… I love the way this is mounted. These photos are beautiful, talent must run in the family.
I totally get it. That's the first thing I did when I opened the package, message my cousin to thank him for the type of material. I just propped it up against one of the many decorative boxes in my bedroom and it was done. I really appreciate that he thought it through that much. Anyway, it's totally okay if you never get around to something. Nothing matters 💙
I love love your childhood story! The boot and the back seat! My sister and I were able to do the same thing in our family car 💙 thanks for raising that memory.
@@ASMRvelousabsolutely! And I know nothing about photography- I just see pretty pictures- but I did subscribe and shared your cousin's channel with my brother, who is an amateur photographer.
Aw, thank you so much, I really appreciate that! Honestly since youtube started putting involuntary ads on small channels I just find it so unfair that youtube's making money off of their videos but they aren't. He puts way more effort into his videos than I do so it's just not fair. I don't want to order people to subscribe, haha, but I really wish he could get 1000 subscribers. Anyway, sorry for thr rant, but thank you!
I love old impalas and I also suffer from depression stemming from health issues. You're not alone!! I appreciate you still making videos, I know it can take a lot out of you so thank you! It makes my night better 😊
Thank you, sorry to hear you relate. But yeah, I'm just finishing up the Buffy series for now and then I'll be taking a break for an undetermined amount of time
@@ASMRvelous haha it's cool. Good ole life ya know?! 🥴 I'm grateful for any and every video you post and totally understand you taking a break. Maybe one day you'll feel like making more, if not we have plenty to binge on. 😌
@@ASMRvelous May you take all the time you need for your upcoming break, and may it be a time of profound healing and replenishment for you. I do hope that you will return to UA-cam when you feel ready. One thing is certain, however: you have created a wonderful body of work that remains a lasting achievement as well as a valuable resource for others. Much appreciation and many thanks to you. Peace on your path.
Both photos are so beautiful and I loved hearing your stories about them. I would be perfectly content to listen to you talk about anything, but it was really sweet thinking about curling up with two sisters in a pile of pillows and blankets in the boot of your family's car. Thank you for this video; every one you upload is a gift. 💕
Hi Daniella!! Really enjoyed your video! Davy and I watched it together…really special to watch you enjoy your picture of the Impala. I love your reference to your portrait where you were “mean-mugging”. In my opinion, you could never be guilty of mean-mugging…you are quite lovely & exquisite!! Great job! 💕
Hi Jamie, your comment went to my spam filter for some reason so I did not see it before, sorry! Thank you for the kind words :) I'm glad you liked the video!
It's been a bit of a low day for one reason or another, so I was absolutely delighted when this video popped up on my screen! I love this type of video, and I also love American muscle cars. I'm no expert so couldn't tell you what model that impala is, but like you I just love the shape. They really are a unique style of car that is very pleasing on the eye. Both great photos taken by your cousin thanks for sharing and creating this video, it's very much appreciated. Now I'm gonna put it back to the start and try to get some sleep 😴 💖
Glad this was able to find you at a time it could provide some needed distraction. Another commenter recognised it as a '64 Impala. They are so beautiful. I hope you got some rest 💙
@@ASMRvelous I did get some much needed rest thank you very much. I really wasn't expecting any new videos, so this made me really happy 🙂 Really appreciate you taking the time and effort to do this video, and your story about the long family trips. Car safety was pretty much non existent back then, but those were the days! I hope you and kitty are doing well 🐈🧡
Shout out to your cousin Davy, these photos are beautiful and your description of the light flare being like an aged filter on the photo with the Impala is such a cool observation. Also your points about depression are so legit, it's actually nice to hear someone who understands it. I mean it's NOT nice, it's sucks but I think you know what I mean lol.
I definitely get it. People will tell you all the time: "Just be yourself!" But they really mean: "Just be yourself in small increments of time so I can be supportive but then you immediately go back to feeling better and I can feel like I helped." It's the way of the world. Thank you for watching, Enrique!
@@ASMRvelous Exactly, then its like "Oh you're still depressed? I thought you were over that.", like no it's an all the time, always thing. Then I get this guilt of not wanting to affect the mood of others but people have no idea how exhausting and incredibly difficult it is just to interact and be around, just existing is so tiring.
Exactly, it's so exhausting. I always tell people the most valuable thing a person can have is energy. You can have all the intelligence, talent, money, power, fame, beauty in the world and it is all completely worthless if you don't have energy.
The dream would be if you ever got into headphones and discussed them like you do all your subjects. I think my brains would melt out through my feet. Really interesting and sublimely relaxing video. I'm sure UA-cam's compression doesn't do those photographs any true justice but your cousin is quite talented for what I can see. Wish you both continued successes 🙌
I loved this video so so much. As having depression as long as I can remember, I always got the same reaction you did from other people. Then it was so tiring trying to hide it I said fuck it. I’m a depressed person. Take it or leave it , i don’t give a shit. That took so much weight off my shoulders. I finally get to be my authentic self. Thank you for this beautiful video. I appreciate you so much. ❤️
Glad you liked the video but I'm sorry to hear you relate to the struggle. Personally I just decided to mostly choose my own company. Which is what I always wanted to do anyway, but the start of the pandemic finally gave me the opportunity to fully distance myself from everyone. Whether I'm acting or not, interacting with humans is always exhausting to me
What a nice surprise! I find it so amazing that at 18 you were brave enough to be yourself. I won’t subject you with any platitudes but keep being who you are!
It wasn't so much brave, it was more naive, I'd say. Everyone puts on a mask, depressed and neurodivergent people just have to do it more. But I appreciate the sentiment, thank you
I love that photo of the Chevy Impala. I love those old model cars. It’s been a while since I have watched a video of yours Danielle. Life keeps getting in my way lol. It’s so good to hear your voice! I’m relaxing as I type this 😊
The look in your eyes in that amazing photograph of you, speaks volumes. I feel like... proud of you. Is that weird? Maybe it’s weird, but idgaf. I I can’t tell you enough how much I appreciate you and your videos. 👊🏻👏🏻🤘🏻
Maybe that's weird but not bad weird. I don't know if I'm proud, butI'd definitely do anything to be able to go back, back to me then. Thank you, I appreciate your words!
Rollin' hard in the impala! We use to cruise hard every Sunday afternoon back in the day! 😎 superb video!!! The Original mrvelous1. With the baddest tats i have EVER seen on a woman before!👊❤🌹

I appreciate you talking openly about your lifelong struggle with depression. That shit is HARD and even harder to "admit" it to others. When you mentioned people don't like depressed people... 100% straight facts. Being authentically depressed makes others so uncomfortable 😂
Yup, SO uncomfortable. It's like when something bad happens, people start a mental timer for how long they will put up with you dragging them down. I don't blame them tbh, but yeah it's one of many reasons why I prefer my own company.
@@ASMRvelous wow, that is spot on! I use the excuse that I'm an introvert when that shit is always code for: leave me to fester in the sweet solitude of my depression nest. Thank you

Maybe you should start another channel for all of your followers to share how we all can say ‘kiss my ass, I have a disease called depression.’ Lol

I was supposed to be filming the last parts of my Buffy series today but it's 2.30pm and I can't get out of bed so, it's a no from me lol
I am so hoping it will turn out to be only a matter of "when" for another non-Buffy video...Meanwhile thank you so much for this unexpected and most welcome treat. You remain the master of this ASMR genre.
As I write this, its 01/20/2023. I know you hated the beginning of the year, Perhaps now there is some calmness in your heart. Danielle I hope everything is ok.
Strange, I like your portrait of mean mugging. It's you. Not faking shit. I empathize with enjoying your alone time often because it's stressful to mask symptoms of mental health in general. (Although I can get very social, just picky and it depends on the mood swing) Also liking the texture of these photos. I don't normally see prints like these.
It's very stressful and so exhausting. It's just easier to be alone. I used to like some things like concerts, festivals, cinema, going out to eat, etc but the pandemic showed me that I don't actually miss them. I guess I was still doing things because I felt like I had to do at least some things. But now I realised I would be completely fine if I saw no one else except from my sisters and my niece until my time is up, and even them only once every other week. Glad you enjoyed the photos!
Also agree about keeping that shit locked up. Go to a counselor, paid listener who will either agree or disagree with you depending on the subject. Reach out to freinds, limited time and have there own lives, family even less interest in listening. Ultimately when a flare up hits I just have to hold on tight and wait for it to pass.
Yup. At the end of the day everyone is dealing with their own shit. It's understandable that people don't want to be around someone that's always miserable. When I was younger I took that as rejection, but when you grow up you understand it's not about you at all. So yeah, pay a professional. I fully agree.
Just wanted to add that I do recognise the privilege in saying just pay a professional, since I do live in a country where that is in fact an option for everyone.
If in doubt I'd say go with the T-shirt, since they're more versatile. Buy one or two sizes up for more versatility. I've turned oversized t-shirts into tank tops and into flowy crop tops. If the design doesn't allow cutting into it, I'll tuck one side into my jeans, or wear it as comfy clothes or pajamas. Hope that helps!
@@ASMRvelous I ended up buying both lol. It was the graphics on the front I really liked. Last year my friend was trampled by her horse and then decided to raise chickens while she recovered.
