Aww, that's genuinely touching to read. We have a while to go still. Season 4 is going to be 3 videos, and then after I finish with 5/6/7 I will be doing at least one but probably two videos addressing some general thoughts about the series and questions I got along the way. But it's really cool to know you don't want to see it end, because same!
Ok, so I watched it. Kinda fell asleep before I could post a decent comment lol. So, I was really disappointed at the mayor's ascension. I remember this is cause for jokes in my family until this day. Everytime something is hyped up and ends up being a fluke we say it was just like the ascension lol. Another thing that bothered me this season: Xander and willow. I was so happy with Oz. They were so adorable. Why?😔 I shipped Xander and willow on season 1, but he made it clear he wanted buffy. Then he gets the most popular and beautiful girl in school (a little obnoxious, sure) and he just cheats on her with the girl he never looked at twice before. Teen me digged it, adult me cringed when rewatching. Angel leaving made me sad, but I adored his series so much that I forgave him. The lack of Spike made me cry. (1 episode not enough) Faith was really the only refreshing thing that happened this season. Wesley wasn't great, yet
It has been so relaxing to dive back into the world of Buffy through your ASMR. I’m remembering more and more of the show (which I haven’t watched for 8 years now) Spike is still my favourite. He was this ‘bad guy’ who was actually pretty soft. Does anyone know if the spin off series ‘Angel’ was any good? I mean, I think, wasn’t it cancelled fairly soon after it launched?
Angel ran for 5 or 6 seasons. I know many people that really enjoyed it but I only watched it all one time and never felt the need for a rewatch. Mainly because it's less funny, there's not as much depth, and I could only connect to one of the characters. If Spike is your favourite character, I'd say skip it. His arc in Buffy ends so beautifully and they bring him back in the last season of Angel mainly as comic relief and it's terrible.
@@ASMRvelous Thanks, and yeah, Spike went out with total grace. My friend has seen the actor who played Spike, James Marsters in his band live so, apparently he's just as talented in music! (She said this gig was in the 90s so, he might not sound so hot now, hehe)
Haha, I don't know, I think voices tend to age pretty well. I *almost* got to see him perform a couple years ago. I tell that story in the Once more With Feeling Extravaganza video. I got a matching Ghost of the Robot tattoo with the friend from the story just last week 😅

I hadn't heard of it, so I looked it up and was surprised to find it's a Belgian TV show originally. That doesn't happen very often. Anyway, I haven't seen either version. I also don't watch crime shows anymore. After a family tragedy a couple of years ago, it all became too real and I can't watch true or fake crime anymore. Sorry! But thank you for the kind words :)

But the tapping is a tough one, there's a lot of people that dislike tapping here in these parts. I'll do a poll on my community page and I'll let the majority decide. I have some older Buffy videos from before I outgrew tapping, one of which I think is literally called "Tapping Buffy" so maybe check those out. But we'll see what the people say :)

I really, really like season 3. I love Faith, I love how complicated she is and how different she is from Buffy. This is such a hard question, haha. I would say 1 is definitely last for me. 7 is pretty far back as well, and 2 is definitely somewhere in front but then it gets tricky. I can't fairly evaluate 5 because I've only seen it twice. The first time when it aired, and then I lost my mom soon after and couldn't watch any of it again and always skipped the entire season. I only recently re-watched it a second time. Before this video, I would've ranked season 3 somewhere in the middle, but going over the plot like this I realised how brilliantly put together it is. Season 4 is like my guilty pleasure favourite season. Even though it has a weak big bad, I hate Riley and the initiative sucks, it's the first season I bought and has almost all of my most re-watched episodes. Aaaaand here we see why all of these videos get so long :'). I might come back to this question in the final video of this series :)
