- Voiceover scripts are written with certain key elements and principles that help to sell them properly. Knowing this will improve your reading of any voiceover script. Reading any voiceover script knowing what makes it work and how it should be delivered will bring you a lot of confidence in getting through it.
In this video, we're going to cover the part of the voiceover script, how to spot the keywords, and also how to read them and improve your final output to make it more engaging and appealing to hear or listen to.
There are rules that govern each craft. once your're familiar with them... all that's left is practice till it becomes second nature. Granted, not all scripts are the same, however having this basic knowledge will give you a little more advantage before the specific direction from your client.
We never stop learning to improve our presentation of voice over scripts. So here's to making it a tad easier.

This is why I love Voiceover! We both can analyse the script similarly but read it in different ways. Thats what makes the art form so awesome! Great Advice man!
The frustration at the noise...I felt that man😂
At some point I started laughing..u know that this they say, leaders are born, talent is born something like that .. your own talent was born, like your normal voice is your voice over ...🥺
And I'm very grateful for it ❤️
Thank you bro for sharing this. Even though I’m a trained actor and a rapper, I know that voiceovers require certain skills and techniques and I can tell you are a seasoned voiceover professional. Thank you once again. God bless you.
🙏🏿🙏🏿
This is a fantastic tutorial 🎧🎤👏🏻thank you
Thanks for the tips. I'm very new, not got my mic yet.. 😂. I live next door to a children's home and another loud household of shouting and kids.
Wish me luck 🍀
use your closet or blanket to cover yourself during recordings and probably odd hours when the City is asleep (If you can)
I enjoyed your video. I have a theatre and music background, and I'm just starting to get into voiceover work. Generally, I thought your video was very helpful. I have just one critique for you, based upon my years as a theatre director. We always stress that an actor should rarely apologize for mistakes or mishaps (or even let on that there was an error with facial expressions, change of vocal tone, etc.) because even things that seem like a major error to you are often overlooked or not even noticed by the audience. They may not even realize that you called a character by his real name rather than his characters' name, but EVERYONE in the audience will notice a look of embarrassment, an apology, etc. on their face. Furthermore, one must get totally "out of character" in order to apologize to the audience, which is a horrible thing for an actor to do. I mention this because I didn't even happen to notice there was background noise in your recording, but you apologized for it probably three times, which definitely took me out of the flow of what you were discussing. Consider trying to get usable content from a speaker who apologizes every single time he coughs, and by the end of the presentation, has told you half a dozen times that his voice isn't 100% because he has a cold. It gets to the point where you remember that cough MORE than you remember the subject of his speech! Hopefully, you will take this in the helpful way it was intended. BTW, I liked the video and subscribed to your channel. Thanks for the helpful info!
Thank you for this!
If you want to eliminate noise and isolate just your voice, get the Waves Clarity plug in. It’s incredible
add F6 EQ As well and you could be set.

thank u for sharing
Yes I like your videos so epic good from Zambia man thanks.
This was wonderful, thank you! I love that you broke everything down, and helped me to understand that the choice of intonation, pauses, and stressors are very precise for the intention of the script. I'm just getting into the space as a hobby, but can imagine myself printing out a copy of the script to mark up with inflections, pauses, and emotions to plan my course of action before recording anything.
I also really like that you included a documentary example to show how it applies to that. My intention is to translate, and voice over a documentary series.
& we are live 😍😍😍😍
That be your favourite part?
